Prices are on the higher end as well. $15 for a plain hamburger with fries and $16 for plain Mac and cheese before you add any toppings. It was a decent dinner, but if we are ever in the area again we would probably seek out other options before coming back here.

At the end, we waited again for the check, and when my daughter calmly tried to explain our frustration, the server spoke over her and said, "I'm almost 50--I've been doing this since I was 17," which came across as rude and unprofessional. We were surprised by how packed the restaurants all were at 11:30 a.m. I would not say that the service at Sal's was good. We weren't helped when we noticed that there wasn't any seating (we were planning to just eat in the car or on a bench). One of the workers was pretty upset about us bringing Service Dogs inside (which is legal). Another offered water for the dogs, but never actually brought it. Then it took over ten minutes to get the food brought out to the back patio seating. Definitely not a service first vibe, more like "you should be happy that we are serving you."
