The payment for the damaged caused to my vehicle was received and although it took a month it did come through. This damage caused during the wash cycle was not due to Tidal Wave equipment but a foreign object from the pickup up truck in front of our vehicle. I took my car to the car wash on Emily Drive Aug 2 and it tore my passenger side mirror off. They took pictures and had me get 2 estimates. I did as they asked. Today Aug 18 they call me and tell me that they will not be replacing my mirror because of scratches on the mirror and it looked like there had been previous damage. I've had my car for 8 years and never had anything done to the mirror or any damage to it. I bought it used and I cant help previous damage. I went in with a full and functioning mirror and came out with it hanging down the side of my car. In my book they should have to replace the mirror. I will never go there again and I may just start picketing them to spread the word about there service. read more

My wife and I have been traveling for several weeks on an extended road trip. A road trip that involved long haired cats. The cats left an insane mess in our car, and their long hair was only part of our challenge. We began our day with the deliberate goal of getting our car washed and detailed. The quote came back at $175!!! Well, in this economy, that's a whole grocery bill, and I can't waste money so freely. Plan B--find a car wash and detail it ourselves. We drove past Tidal Wave and we're overjoyed to see large signs that read, "FREE VACUUMS", as we had a ton of cat hair to capture. Compared to 175, the 30 for the ultimate car wash with FREE vacuums was an extraordinary blessing! The car wash was spot on perfect! And it was fun to ride the conveyor belt through the system. It was like a dark ride at Disney World! And then we got our hands on those vacuums. They were freaking powerful, and took great care of our carpets and interior. They also provide hand towels and multipurpose spray to clean the interior, and even provide a little air nozzle to blow out the hard to reach places. I came in to use their advertised "Free Vacuums" (It's right on the front sign) and they said it would be $5. I said I thought it was free, and they said "yeah, for members" (not really free then right?) So I told them I would just exit, they offered a wash and I said no. I've been here once before with my friend to use a wash and they were extremely friendly, maybe because he's a member. Today, they were not friendly at all. As you see in my photo, they even turned their back to me! So much for a friendly environment, huh? I recommend to use this place if you're a member, but if you're not a member you might as well be dead to them. Smh. read more
