I am a former tide employee of two years and I must say that I am disappointed at how Tide has handled certain issues. The management is incompetent and the business lacks structure. I recently moved and forgot to change my address. When I realized that my W2 was sent to that address I immediately tried to find out where it was. I have been contacting my employer (The first step to locating my W2, which was advised by the IRS) and they have been uncooperative in this process. Since the beginning of February, I have been asking my store manager to look into the issue hoping she would contact HR with the issue and I haven't received any help or any information on where or how I can obtain it. I was finally able to contact upper management, but was met with disinterest and was told that there would be a follow-up with me that never happened, which seems to be a common trend for this employer. I have also had an issue regarding my pay in the past that was also handled with a lack of urgency. With a company like this, it is expected that they should act more proactively in helping their customers and employees and should know how to run their business efficiently and effectively. read more

I was in town delivering a suit to a client and I noticed a stain on it. I stopped in and they spot treated it with no questions asked on the spot. They were so nice and helpful!!! And saved my butt. read more

Update: Tide re-cleaned my dress and now it is perfect. They were very friendly and courteous. Very happy. Staff are nice and it's efficient, but my vintage dress came back with more stains than when it went in :( now I have to try and find somewhere else to fix it. read more

Update of my review- I was very pleased w/my clothes I picked up yesterday. One of the pants needed to be repaired at the hem, but I forgot when I dropped off, since they were crazy busy, anyway it was repaired for no extra charge! Very nice! The drive thru was not busy and the girl working was very quick and nice. I will return to this dry cleaners in the future. read more

When I walk in, everything is so clean and fresh smelling. I like that because this is the location of where the services are being performed, I can actually see the machines. We had 2 shirts with buttons that popped off, but they replaced them for us. I love the drive through valet. They meet me at my car to take my clothes or bring them to me. I now have a Tide laundry bag hanging in my closet to just drop off when it is full. I haven't had to use it yet, but I love that there is 24 hour drop off and pick up. When a day runs long, I can still pick up my cleaning. Great addition to the neighborhood. read more

Horrible customer service ! I dropped off a pair of jeans June 11 to get a zipper fixed and cleaned. The guy at the counter told me it'd be a week . I called after a week and a girl that spoke really fast told me they'd be ready June 26 ( today ). I called and the same quick speaking girl picked up and told me the alterations were taking a month. I asked for status on my jeans specifically and she couldn't give me an answer. I asked to speak to a manager and she told me she was busy . I said I'd hold and was placed on hold for 5 minutes . The girl came back to the phone and told me the manager would call me back . I said I'd wait and asked if I could simply pick up my jeans . I was placed on hold again for another 3 minutes .... only this time someone picked up the phone and hung up. I called back 5 times only to be sent to voicemail. How does this location expect to stay in business with customer service like this? I'm still without my jeans and now I don't know if I'll even get them back . read more

I was so glad to see Tide going in close to me And to find out they picked up and delivered! I have never been so disappointed in a business! Was told my pick up route would be Monday/Thursday. Delivery went pretty well about three Monday's. Then they lost two pair of slacks and my cleaner bag!We were leaving town on Friday (return delivery is Thursday for Monday pick up), so assured me my pants would be delivered Fri morning by 7:00 am! Of course, no slacks! While out of town, saw on our camera they were delivered at 7:00 pm! So had to send our son to retrieve from porch! Oh, well! Dumb me, one more time, sat bag out and clothes were never picked up. I took them into shop and was told drivers wife had had a baby and the route didn't get picked up! Ok, I'm pretty easy going so thought good enough excuse! So two weeks later, left bag out on Monday and never got picked up! Second baby?? So, took into store. No excuse or apology! Third try, no pick up, so I called main office in RR and was lied to me outright! Said, "oh, no your route has always been Tuesday/ Friday." Do NOT use this dry cleaner. They lost an expensive Halston dress of mine, and gave me someone else's item by mistake. I brought in six items, and when I went to pick them up I received six items and didn't think much of it. When I got home and started putting the clothes away I realized that my dress was not there, but in it's place was a long white skirt with a white dry cleaning bag attached. I had thought this was my dress covered with a white bag since it's a nicer item, but once I realized it was not I called the store to let them know of the mix up. They said to bring back the wrong item, and they would have my dress for me. When I got to the store they took the skirt/bag, but told me they couldn't find my dress. They said not to worry that they still had a couple of deliveries coming in that day. The next day I called, and they said they still hadn't found my dress. They also asked if I was sure I had brought it in because they only had 5 items in the system for my last visit. I said I was 100% sure that I had brought it in. They had somehow forgotten to log it into the system, and that's how it was lost. Over the next couple days I continued to ask where the dress was, and was finally told by the manager that they had turned it into the claims department, and I should expect a call for more details. The following week I never received a call from the claims department, so I called the store 3 days in a row to find out what was going on, and the manager never called me back. Finally, the next week, I called Tide Dry Cleaners Customer Service, but was told the stores are franchises, so they had to connect me with the store. I finally got the manager on the line, but all she said was she would transfer me to the claims person. I left a voicemail, and a few minutes later the claims person called me back. She said that this was the first she was hearing of my situation, so apparently the store manager had lied, and had not turned it into the claims department the week before. The claims person said the store is saying that I never brought the dress in. They are calling me a liar! She asked me for details, and said she will enter in the claim. Now I'm waiting to see what is going to happen. I will NEVER use a Tide Dry Cleaners again. UPDATE: A claim was processed and approved to pay me for the missing dress, but before I received the check they found the dress. A month after it went missing it was somehow found at a different location. read more

FALSE EXPECTATIONS. I brought in 9 shirts Saturday morning and I told the girl I needed them for work on Monday. She told me they'd make sure they were done by end of day Saturday. I came in Sunday afternoon to pick them up and this other employee told me they haven't even been touched and they won't be ready until end of day Monday. I have used their delivery service since it was originally with Men's Warehouse. Since they have become Tide the service has deteriorated so badly they have become unusable. Today I unwrapped a shirt that was cleaned, folded and poly bagged. The collar was absolutely shredded. The shirt is trash. I understand the accidents happen. Shirts are replaceable. But to fold, bag and then allow this shirt to go back out demonstrates a complete disinterest in the quality of their work. That they didn't take the shirt to a manager or contact me or really show any effort at all is inexcusable. That they thought it was OK to deliver the shirt back to me in this condition is really hard to believe. I have never posted a review on Yelp before, positive or negative, but this level of non-service is motivating. I have been told in the past that when Tide took over, the team stayed intact. This may be the case, but then they have just stopped caring. Stay clear. The pickup and delivery is convenient (when they get it right) but it's not worth it. Drop you stuff of with another cleaner and avoid lots of aggravation. Read the other reviews and you will get an idea of the level of service to expect. I swear, SHREDDED. And not a word. Incompetent management and employees, all the way down. No responses to the negative reviews. What's that tell you about management? Maybe need to polish up those resumes. Excited to try the new place. Had two suit jackets: one black and one tan. The black one is fine. The tan one had 3 dark spots/smudges on it that were from Tide. They left a hidden tag on the hanger of the jacket saying that they left a smudge. I didn't notice until I got home and wasn't going to go back at that point. They should have let me know that there were new marks left on the jacket and I shouldn't have paid full price for them actually making my jacket dirtier. Won't be going back. read more

They do a good job on the cleaning, and have done a fair job overall. A series of missteps keeps them from being awesome. I've been using them for about a year now and I visit them every other week. The valet service is good, and keeping a card on file helps speed things along. Four times, however, I have been sent home after 5pm without the dry cleaning that I dropped off before 8am. Usually it's because of some mechanical glitch, or the point of sale system is down. So, not exceedingly dependable. Further, once I was sent home with more than just my dry cleaning. I notified the store and they said they would send someone to my home to pick it up for the other customer. They never showed, and I was out of town for several weeks. Not sure how the other customer felt while they waited for their items to be returned to them. read more

Rarely do I leave reviews even if they are bad but I am a little frustrated with the lack of customer service in general. It started about a week ago. I came in with a bag of shirts to get laundered. When the employee started to take my clothes and order I told her I received a 25% off coupon in my inbox and would like to use it. The employee asked me to show it to her and then said I needed to have it printed. Who prints out coupons anymore? It's right there on my phone, coupon code and all. I asked if she could go ahead and take it as I had it on my phone and wasn't trying to get something for nothing but just to use a coupon that your business sent me. I was told I couldn't. I said ok, and just went on my way. A few days afterward, I went ahead and printed my coupon and had it ready for the next time I had time to run by Tide Cleaners. Well, I came in on Friday of last week and proceeded to take my shirts in. The employee took my bag with the shirts and said thank you, they will be ready after 5pm on Monday. I said that is fine. Then I realized the guy didnt ask anything about my shirts and didn't take payment and didn't even count the shirts. I then asked how do you know how much starch I want? Also, I was wondering how he knew if they needed to be dry cleaned or laundered. I'm glad before I left I asked. At the time, the employee didn't ask me if i had any coupons when I asked if I needed to pay. Forward to Monday pick up. I came in with my coupon and then the employee grabs my shirts and then checks me out. I tell her I have this coupon and this time I have it printed. Well guess what happened? The employee goes on to tell me that I was suppose to show the coupon at checkout. Really? How was i suppose to know that. I figured no problem, they will make it right and take the coupon. Well I was wrong. They made what could have a been a good experience into me having to find another cleaners. Just crazy to me! read more

I've been getting coupons from them over the last month. I finally decide to give them a shot. I get there and the lady is mopping at the drop off counter. (No caution, wet floor sign like she's supposed to). No problem, I didn't want to mess up the floor. I leaned over and put my 3 bags of dry cleaning on the counter top. She was courteous and asked if I had been there before. I hadn't so she obtained my name, address and phone number. She says OK thank you we'll contact you when it's ready. While I was standing there another customer arrived at the drive thru to drop off some dry cleaning who had apparently been there before because they asked him and he acknowledged that he had. They took his garments and proceeded to take them to the back and I heard him ask for a ticket. They proceeded to prepare one for him. I overheard this and I asked the lady if I get a ticket to ensure we have the same number of garments when I come to pick them up. She says that "she'll count them. That's how we'll know." She didn't inspect the garments or anything while I was there. She says that all I have to do is tell them my name when I go to pick them up and they will pull them for me. I walked away and then came right back to get my garments. I had 25 garments in those bags that I didn't feel comfortable not having any ticket or receipt or proof that I dropped them off. I didn't want to have to argue with anyone about how many garments I dropped off if they had "miss placed" any of them and I didn't want to hear somebody else picked up my belongings since you only need to give them your name to pick up your stuff. They're humans. They can make mistakes. I don't want to be on the wrong end of that mistake. Trust no one. read more
