If that was the case, I should have never been able to book and confirm the appointment in the first place. It was a complete waste of my time and gas, and something that easily could have been communicated beforehand. To make matters worse, the young lady at the front desk was not welcoming at all. She barely spoke to me, came across as if she had an attitude, and overall was not professional or helpful given the situation. If you're going to turn someone away after they've driven 30 minutes for a confirmed appointment, the very least you can do is communicate respectfully and show some level of customer service. Overall, the entire experience was frustrating and unprofessional. Better communication and customer service would have prevented this situation completely.

I have been dismissed by many doctors who thought my symptoms were just anxiety. After many years and seeing many doctors I was finally diagnosed with POTS. I thought the hard part was over, but I was wrong. Finding a doctor who wants to treat POTS is even harder. Dr. Hartman doesn't shy away from hard. I've seen Dr. Hartman for many years and he is one of the smartest doctors I've ever come across. He listens, understands, and partners with you to come up with solutions to help manage my conditions. He has run tests that most doctors don't that have uncovered causes of some of my symptoms. He is constantly learning new information, thinks outside the box, and shares this knowledge with his patients. Not only have I had such positive experiences with Dr. Hartman, but I have had positive experiences with both of his nurse practitioners Jodi Caddell and Veronica Porterfield. Recently, Ms. Porterfield saw me for an illness and possible tick bite infection and she spent so much time with me and followed up with me when I was having issues and questions, even calling me on her personal time on a Sunday night. Never have I felt more cared for. I have not seen Dr. Jenski but know people who do see him and have just as amazing things to say about him. RIFM is filled with providers who truly care about you and want to help you find solutions to feel your best. Don't hesitate to join this practice - you won't regret it!

You can look forward to a jammed place with clearly overworked therapists who are doing their best, but the systems around them have failed.
