Reviewing the pictures was delayed for a personal reason and getting my purchased items was delayed for another personal reason. I am still missing pictures. I finally sent her a text, after working with her and accepting multiple apologies, and explained how disappointed I am in the way she handles business. That text was sent on 12/23/23 and I was compensated for 1 picture, sent a few more digitals, and was told I would receive 3 - 8x10s within a week (this is after I told her that she hadn't done anything to make things right and after driving to her studio, after confirming, only to find out I was still missing a picture)....keep in mind I'm a new first time mother that is recovering from pre-eclampsia and a c-section. Again it is 1/28/24 and now she is not responding to text or call smh. So I guess at this point I will take the L. She ruined Christmas gifts for my family and at this point I just refuse to spend my 2024 chasing down someone that does not intend on doing the right thing. I plan to just enjoy my baby and I will print my own pictures. The sad part is Angelica is super talented and the pictures are gorgeous but for $800 I expected way better treatment. Well I received several recommendations but none just wow'd me and I figured I should search Yelp duh why wouldn't a Yelp Elite come to Yelp 1st right?? Well because sometimes my fellow Yelpers are foodies and we review what we do most so I checked for local photographer and came across this hidden gem (ok hidden to me) but it's no secret to Friendswood and I'm excited to say I'm looking forward to my daughters session; from the few pics on Yelp to their Instagram I knew I wanted to have her session done by this genius!!! We have gone to the consultation and my quiet daughter was open and speaking with Mr David like she's known him so I know they will have a great session!! So looking forward to June!!! With their good recommendation, I decided to use DC Stanley as our wedding photographer. My advice to anyone who is looking for a photographer is to make sure to have a comfortable relationship with good rapport. David (DC Stanley) is very relatable and laid back. Positives: -Price. I think he hits the right price point for me. He has great packages that usually include prints, DVD for the wedding pictures, wedding book and engagement, bridal and wedding sessions. -Quality. The quality of his work is very good. He knows his way around a camera or two! I would go on his website to look at his work. -Misc. They will design invitations, save the dates, etc. I did not use their services for these, but I was aware they do have this available to you. -This is a family business. His wife, "V", does a lot of the business side and she is very responsive to all e-mails and phone calls. His studio is pretty cool. Negatives: -His studio is in Friendswood, so not easy access to everyone in Houston. Although, they are very accommodating when trying to set up a meeting (on Sundays, etc) Overall, he is a great guy and a great photographer! Today was my first visit to Aimee Fuller Photography, and also the first time I took my five month…read moreold to have professional portraits taken. My friend has been using Aimee as her photographer since her son was born earlier this year. I thought the photos were quite beautiful, and have enjoyed looking through her various galleries. So as a special gift for me my friend gifted me a mini-session for the holidays. The studio is located in Pearland in what looks like a little house. For the mini-sessions she had two small scenes set up. We did a couple of outfit changes and took pictures in both scenes. The families before and after us were repeat customers and had nothing but praise for their previous experiences. I was a nervous that none of the photos would come out, or that my child would have a complete meltdown once the lights were on and camera ready. But Aimee was very good at making me and my kid feel very comfortable. I've only seen one shot so far from the session today, but I am so very pleased with how it came out. Definitely thinking of returning for her 1 year photographs and I don't live in Pearland.
