In just a couple of months the carpet showed severe defects, so we asked for it to be replaced under warranty. Ozark Carpet does not have any installers of their own, so they hired Precision Flooring to do the replacement. The two gentlemen that showed up to do the work were very polite and professional. They went above and beyond what we would have expected for a 3rd party hired to do this job. They actually did a better job than the original installer of the carpet. He came up with a bid, and we agreed to go forward. The total bid was around $15,000. I had to pay him $9,000 to "secure myself as the next job he did". He gave me a rough estimate of when he could start. Within that time, I had a series of bad luck, and was forced to sell the house. I called him and explained my situation. At first he said he would give me a complete refund, but later that day he sent me a long text about being a Godly man, and being that, he couldn't give me a refund. After texting with him some more, he agreed to refund me $5,300. I only ever got $4,500 back from him. I'm guessing it was all he had left of my money, because he's borrowing from Peter, to pay Paul. I am now debating small claims court for my remaining money. All in all, I knew this guy for a month. Don't waste your money, time, and hopes on this guy.

Robert was the first to reply, and he responded in less than 30 minutes. He provided general pricing info about several standard options, plus offered to schedule a visit to my house to view the items and provide a price quote. Out of all the providers, he was the only one who offered to do that. So just two days after I created my Yelp request, he came out and offered me a fair and reasonable price, plus he was able to schedule the work to be performed only a few days after that. In the end, the project was completed within 7 days of my initial Yelp request, and the work was performed quickly, completely, without a problem, at the agreed price. Robert and his colleagues were professional, respectful, and friendly. Near the time of our scheduled appointments, he kept in touch with me about their status and ETA. I would have given a perfect review for all that, but there is even more: It's hard to imagine these days, but after the job was over and they had already left, he called me to say that he discovered I must have accidentally given him an extra 50 dollar bill so he wanted to return it. Amazing! Thank you Robert. The world needs more good people running small businesses like this one.
