We understand that there's a contract. And we did sign it. But to keep that amount of money only after 30 days of reconsidering! And being told that we took that date. Knowing they still have plenty of time to use that same date. As I said before. Very genuinely nice people. But we feel there's a bit of scam within the contract. And our wedding isn't until June 2025. $1800 is a lot of money to make of someone who changed their minds in less than 30 days after paying that amount of money. When the wedding was scheduled 11 months away. It was, and is a very expensive lesson. We also understand that it's business. But where's the compassion. I attended a wedding here and I was in awe of how beautiful it was inside. Even in peak heat the chapel was cool inside and it appears they have heating in the winter. There isn't a parking lot, just parking alongside the road on the grounds. If you're looking for a venue to get married and are planning a smaller guest list I recommend looking at this venue.

i grew up across the street from this chapel. the church,…read morethe gardens, and cemetery all have special meanings to me. the chapel is vary beautiful, traditional white wedding type church. there are pictures of weddings that took place here, they look so pretty. if you are planning to have a nice country wedding here GO FOR IT! the grounds are vary lush, green as the garden of eden in the summer, and soft freshly powdered hills in the winter, the the colors of fall are unforgettable. but if you know the locals, every waits for the spring, when the dogwoods bloom. they also have a pond full of coy, is so peaceful here, its easy to forget your not in Kentucky but an ancient church north of Scotland. this is the best place to get married, and ill never marry but if i did i have no other place! the Gothic architecture is unmatched, the prices are vary nice, and the accommodation are vary reasonable, for many generations many many couples from around the world have married here and never complain. and besides the famous mary-bell ghost story, there a is a another positive rumor ive heard, ~those who marry here, stay married. now im not saying this is always the case, but ive know many couples from my time growing up in crestwood, and they have been married for most of their life, and have nothing but fond memories of this beautiful chapel.
