Really like the energy of this bar. They have plenty of TVs, bartender is very good and they have great selection of beers. The building is great with pool tables and spaces to just hang out and enjoy a drink.

You might be familiar with this location for the spectacular selection of plants & garden decor,…read morealong with the butterfly garden... but did you know about the nearly secret children's outdoor play garden!? I brought my daughter here a few weeks ago to see the butterflies after remembering that my son enjoyed them when he was her age. At the time my son was here (years ago), the admission was free. However, it's now $10 per person. I was a bit daunted by this because I thought $10 just to see the little butterfly greenhouse garden was a bit much... .... then after we exited the garden, we stumbled across an amazing children's outdoor play garden! I did not recall seeing this place before and my daughter was absolutely delighted! We loved it so much that we left to go pick up my son and bring him back the same day. They both spent hours playing in the dirt, with the toy food, climbing the structures, making a water fountain, playing in the tent, and so forth. Definitely worth the $10 per person for them to have that experience. We were also blown away by the fun selection of decor and children's garden toys and accessories inside the shop. The employees were super friendly and nice, too. Great spot. Will definitely be back. This place has also inspired me to consider having a garden. Maybe.

Even though we didn't see many butterflies this time, the visit was still wonderful. The greenhouse is full of beautiful flowers and the landscaping is very well done. It's such a peaceful and relaxing place to walk around. We also bought a lemon tree, which became a lovely gift for our daughter. Highly recommend visiting. Especially after May if you want to see lots of butterflies!

My fiancée and I had planned to view this house for our wedding next year. She confirmed with Terri…read morethat we would be arriving to view the house between 6:45 and 7 since we were driving up from Lexington, which she confirmed. We arrived at 7:07 and the house was locked up and empty. We sent her an email to let her know that we had arrived since that was our only method of contact that she had provided. We walked around the grounds looking to see if we could find someone outside working to no avail. Lots of boxes and other odds and ends from the wedding several days before were still strewn about. Finally called the number listed in the front window and she answered with "Hello, who is this??". I asked her about the showing and she told me "It's 7:30, you said you would be there by 6:45 and you didn't show up, so we left. You want me to send someone back out there?" I told her no, thank you and we left. If you are searching for a wedding venue, I would advise you against dealing with this place.

The wealth of knowledge with both Austin, our Bartender and Dave, Owner, is amazing. Thanks to them, we walked out of there quite happy with our tastings. With the huge selection of Bourbon, right in front of us, we were able to ask questions about any bottle we spotted on the shelf. We gained a lot more information about Bourbon. THANK YOU Austin & Dave !!! Yes, we will stop here EVERY TIME we travel to Frankfort, KY. Hoping it won't be another 2 yrs.

From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm and welcoming. The staff provided great whiskey conversation and shared so much interesting history about the community and the distillery. It really made the tasting feel personal and special. We had the opportunity to sample an incredible lineup: * Weller 12 * Rip Van Winkle 10yr * Castle & Key Rye * Peerless Double Oak * Benson Valley Bourbon Every pour was smooth, flavorful, and clearly high quality. The pours were generous and the explanations for each one added so much depth. If you're into whiskey (or just good conversation and local history), HOC is a must-stop. We left smiling and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend! Thanks again to the team at HOC -- you turned a closed door into one of the highlights of our road trip!
