This is the oldest bar in Frankfort and has an impressive collection of bourbon brands, and even the rarest of the rare- Pappy Van Winkle collection. They also have bar food and the best chicken wings in town. I like the Bourbon Glaze and Garlic Parmesan wings. The bar has been completely remodeled with nice clean bathrooms and new staff. The new workers seem to love their job and enjoy sharing local bourbon lore with the out of towners. I like to watch movies on the big tvs and sometimes they put on old shows to watch at the customer's request. There's pool that seems very popular and a touch tunes that's always playing the hits.

I brought my daughter here a few weeks ago to see the butterflies after remembering that my son enjoyed them when he was her age. At the time my son was here (years ago), the admission was free. I was a bit daunted by this because I thought $10 just to see the little butterfly greenhouse garden was a bit much... .... then after we exited the garden, we stumbled across an amazing children's outdoor play garden! I did not recall seeing this place before and my daughter was absolutely delighted! We loved it so much that we left to go pick up my son and bring him back the same day. They both spent hours playing in the dirt, with the toy food, climbing the structures, making a water fountain, playing in the tent, and so forth. Definitely worth the $10 per person for them to have that experience. We were also blown away by the fun selection of decor and children's garden toys and accessories inside the shop. Even though we didn't see many butterflies this time, the visit was still wonderful. The greenhouse is full of beautiful flowers and the landscaping is very well done. It's such a peaceful and relaxing place to walk around. We also bought a lemon tree, which became a lovely gift for our daughter. Highly recommend visiting. Especially after May if you want to see lots of butterflies!
