Yeah, the tortilla for it maybe wasn't perfect (if they had one of those burrito tortilla steamers, that would have been nice) but that's a small critique. 3. The bakery looked really good too. I was too stuffed from the burrito, but I will be back for the tres leches cake. 4. They make pupusas from scratch. Another one I'll be back for. And finally, even though this place qualifies as hole in the wall and won't win any fine dining awards, they treated me with respect. That goes a long way with me. The place was packed when we arrived and there were a lot of customers coming in the entire time we were there. There was a constant flow of food delivery guys coming to pick up food orders, too. It was really great to see a local business doing so well in our community. The entire staff (special shout out to Felipe and Alison) was super friendly and the food was really delicious. We ordered A LOT of tacos, so it was nice they offered special deals for larger orders. We also ordered iced horchatas. We waited a little bit for our order because of the large amounts of take out, online and in person orders, the entire staff was working as hard as they possibly could. They were always pleasant to each customer (we sat by the register so we noticed the interactions). The staff kept us well informed, so we weren't bothered by it. We were enjoying the 80s music in the background and having good conversation when Alison came over with guacamole and chips on the house. She was very apologetic for the delay, but we told her no worries. It was such a thoughtful gesture for them and shows they care about their customers. The guacamole and chips were fantastic. My daughter who doesn't usually eat tomatoes loved the tomatoes in the dips and couldn't stop raving about them! We will order this the next time we are there. Alison brought over two flans for the table to share as a thank you for the wait and our patronage. The flan was delicious, too!
