I liked the blue duck feet best. The music was nice too. There were several people ahead of us as we arrived early. Each person was called in order and no one had to wait for very long. The nurse was personable and really knew her stuff. Dr Lyerly came right in, looked the toe over, collaborated with what the nurse had said. He then gave a clear description of his recommendation. He numbed the toe, preformed surgery, bandaged it up, gave us instructions and sent us on our way. The conversation was fun and the whole thing was refreshing. After being in bed for a week and slowly recovering my ability to walk, I went to Stroud Chiropractic. They made me stand at a computer to fill out a crazy amount of paperwork and many pages of forms--I never saw an intake process like this, and I am 65 years old. After filling out the forms, which took about an hour, I sat for another 45 minutes to see Dr. Brook Martin. The office was somewhat chaotic and them seemed more interested in hustling patients in and out of their office, particularly as the day was coming to a close. The exam process was overly rigorous for my Sciatica pain. Based on their website, I decided to go to Stroud Chiropractic, which claims they are highly skilled at relieving sciatica pain. Unfortunately, I left their office in so much pain that I could hardly walk or drive my car. I was unable to drive the 20-minute journey home without stopping multiple times to stand up to attempt to alleviate the pain. Why would they have let me drive home in that kind of condition? My wife took me to the emergency room in the most pain I ever experienced in my life. The pain level was a 10/10, and I felt nauseous and almost passed out. As a result, I had to spend five days on bed rest before finally feeling well enough to see a spinal specialist for a proper diagnosis. My pain was so severe that I still hurt after taking muscle relaxants, an opioid painkiller, and also took some ibuprofen. I was up every hour on the hour to take a 10-minute hot shower to relieve the pain, as it was the only thing that would work. This entire experience has caused me considerable duress, loss of pay, and a massive impact on my well-being. I believe it could have been prevented if the chiropractor had approached my care differently. The chiropractor made me do many movements while standing, which resulted in the returning sciatica pain that was very much worse than the original incident. It would have been much better if she could perform a gentle hands-on palpation to identify the areas of tenderness, restricted movement, etc. While the doctor was taking xrays I was in so much pain I couldn't continue standing in the position so she could take more xrays. I sat there for 15 or 20 minutes to regain my compusure, then another assistant came in to finish giving me the xrays and I could still hardly stand and the pain returned. She was even having problems with the machine and prolonged my misery by having me take the x-ray a couple of more times to get the right image on the x-ray. They refused to give me the x-rays after I requested them. They said that the only way I could find out about the x-ray results was to meet with the doctor. Weeks later, when I went to a physical therapist, I had six sessions before I was allowed to bend at the waist. Some movements, like bending over at the waist, are a huge "don't do" with sciatica, yet this chiropractor had me do it and caused me a great deal of injury. I will not be returning to this office for any more care. I requested that we work something out with my payment for these services because I don't believe it is ethical to charge me for something that cost me many times over their service charges in lost wages and medical expenses. After speaking with the office about their lack of flexibility, they have referred my account to a bill collector. I will not pay them their couple of hundred dollars so they can harass me all they want. Stroud Chiropractic is not a place that I will ever step foot in again. They certainly demonstrated to me that they didn't care about my well-being.

Dr Gramig did my thumb arthroplasty and repairing a tendon I partially ruptured in a fall. He is great and very patient friendly. I would let him fix my other thumb if it gets arthritic! Then when my right hip became arthritic, I contacted Dr Alusio at EmergeOrtho since he does more hip replacements in Greensboro than any other doctor. He advised me about when I would be ready for surgery and I went back to him when it was time. He also referred me to PrescribeFIT to help me work on my overall health prior to surgery. Kay Baker at PrescribeFIT has been an excellent coach for me and helped me get ready for surgery. She is still advising me in my post-operative recovery and I am thankful I have her advice during my total hip replacement recovery. Dr Alusio and his staff have did an awesome job on my hip. They have continually fielded my questions and brought me into the office for rechecks of my progress. It has been a difficult recovery for me at 72 years old and I appreciate the support I have gotten from them. Everyone in the Triad office has been great. I highly recommend EmergeOrtho Triad for all your orthopedic needs. They have a wide range of doctors who concentrate on areas of the body like hand and hip. I am thankful for EmergeOrtho Triad, Dr Gramig, Dr Alusio and Kay Baker at PrescribeFIT for contributing to my orthopedic health.

I was very satisfied and would ask for Dr Taylor again when I go back.

I love this office, it's located in a small strip with some other offices. Wry unassuming from the outside but cozy and comfortable waiting area inside. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

I'm going to start out by saying I will come back and update this review if things are different on…read moremy next visit. I have been a patient of Dr. Goodrich's for almost 20 years. I started seeing her back when the practice was over on Lyndhurst Avenue. I went in for my annual exam in October 2025. My appointment was for 8:45. I got to the office in plenty of time. The little sheet they hand you to give to the nurse said it was printed at 8:32. I sat right next to the door where they call you back to the suite. I waited, and watched as women who came in after me got called back. I got curious to see how long it would take them to call me back, so I did not approach the front desk, though they could see me sitting there. Every time a nurse came out and called someone else back, I would sigh loudly and look at my watch. I was finally called back at 9:30. I asked the nurse if they were busy and she just kind of mumbled a reply. We did my vitals and I was shown to the exam room. I undressed and sat on the edge of the exam table, waiting. At 9:48, the doctor knocked and came in. That is a full 63 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. The entire time I was waiting, I was hoping I would get a patient satisfaction survey after my visit. As luck would have it, I got one the next day. I laid in to them. I told them about my wait, and all of the women that arrived after me that were called back first. I told them the only reason I continue to come to the practice is that Dr. Goodrich is able to give me an exam without it hurting. Radiation treatments for rectal cancer have caused issues for me. I received a phone call from the practice manager, who seemed appalled by my experience, the next day. We spoke for probably close to half an hour. I suggested some things they could do, as I am sure I am not the first woman to experience that. For example, putting signs up saying to let the front desk know if it is 15 minutes past your appointment time and you have not been called back. We'll see if any of my suggestions were taken when I go back later this year for my annual visit. Another reason I am giving a lower rating is the fact that they seem to go all out in October for breast cancer awareness, but do nothing in September for GYN cancer awareness. I even asked the nurse who did my vitals if the place was awash in teal in September, the way it was awash in pink in October. She told me that some people wear teal shirts. The little bulletin boards in the exam rooms that you look at as you are waiting for the doctor to come in always have information about breast cancer, but never have information about GYN cancer. I pointed this out during my phone call with the practice manager. I said having a sign with the symptoms of GYN cancer on it, might just get a woman to mention to her doctor that she has been experiencing some. GYN cancers are notoriously caught in later stages, because women put off their symptoms to other things, like period cramps or GI upset. Don't get me wrong here, my mom was a two time breast cancer survivor. I do not begrudge the breast cancer awareness. I happen to be an ovarian cancer survivor, so I am more attuned to that. The practice manager said they were thinking of going digital with their bulletin boards. She said that she would suggest they add information about GYN cancers to it. Again, I will update this review if I see improvements the next time I go.

Eric Usher. Multiple providers tried to push birth control onto me when I said no, him included. I told them about my health concerns, worsening pain, odd hormone test results, and they refused to do anything other than offer birth control that I had already rejected. They didn't bother to test for a pregnancy. Dr. Usher even mistakenly sent me an email he meant to send to his receptionist about me, essentially claiming that I was a nuisance and assured me that no other provider would tell me anything different. This was a lie - a dangerous one. I was pregnant, and another provider confirmed it. They did do something different after all. It could've been ectopic, I could've died. Thankfully, it was a normal pregnancy with a subchorionic hemorrhage. I called the president of the practice and she was horrified to hear about how I'd been treated - even how one provider, Katie Henderson, falsely claimed that people stopped producing hormones after menopause. During my first pregnancy, I was told I would lost access to care from them for so much as asking about the possibility of home birth. Don't accept poor treatment from this office just because of the provider shortage and don't let them push you around. Bring up every concern to leadership and get everything on record. Their bad behavior could cost someone their life, the life of their child, or worse. Before considering them, please make sure that they've dealt with their issues for your own safety. I won't be back unless I have no other options.
