We were greeted warmly by one of the owners when we walked in. we sat in the patio area. We did the wine flight, and all of the wines were very good. We ended up purchasing a few bottles to enjoy later. The owner was the one serving us, and he was friendly, and informative We ended up ordering dinner from the taco truck just outside and it was excellent . Located on the bank of the magnificent Columbia River with views of The Dalles Bridge and basalt cliffs across the way, this tasting room is a hidden gem! The wines I tasted were quite delicious, my favorite being a Cab Franc blend. After my tasting, i enjoyed a full glass. They offer a wonderful selection of food to accompany the wine, the charcuterie board has high quality meats, cheese, olives and a baguette. Enough for four. On weekends when the adjoining food hut is open, try whatever they are making! Tamales, tacos, sliders - you can't go wrong. Plenty of seating areas available to accommodate couples or groups. Inside there are views everywhere you look. The covered patio on the side is peaceful and serene, great on a warm day and provides shade during the super hot summer. Kids and dogs welcome! Small 2 man operation and it shows in the warm hospitality And friendly service. The owners have lots of chickens so you will often find beautiful fresh eggs for sale right at the bar. Stopped for a bottle of wine on my way home after being out of town and the owner was very helpful, with suggestions and several tastings!! While I was making up my mind two customers that had been there for food as well as wine, was praising his Sangria which he prepares right in front of you!! They had enjoyed it so much they were getting a bottle to take home! On that Sunday I also purchased one of their wine glasses!! A couple of days later I stopped to get a bottle of Sangria to take home for myself!!! I was very pleased with service, wine and the location is lovely!!! Beautiful scenery, really good wine and the paninis were delicious too! My bf and I both got tasting flights, the 5th pour you get to choose. Highly recommend the "Too sexy" red blend. This is an amazing winery on the bank of the Columbia river. This 2 man operation creates beautifully layered wines, that are sure to please. From their unoaked chardonnay, beautifully balanced rose, or their spectacular cab franc, there are no bad choices! Sit on their patio enjoy the wine and the view. There are some delightful bites available , or if you come on the weekends there are amazing tacos and tamales available at the cart outside. We just enjoyed a tasting of their new Chardonnay with very tasty sliders. We also had a glass of Tinto Dulce, which is a sweeter red mix: and a full glass of the Chardonnay. Wonderful. I was still craving their rustic bread, melted Brie, and roasted garlic. The brie and bread went well with the Tinto Dulce. I found the brie rind absolutely delicious with the garlic and Chardonnay! We learned that their sliders were made with a delicious bun and cheese sourced from another business, but the combination of stone ground mustard, caramelized onions, pickle, and beef were their own delicious combination. As is usual for me, I had a flight tasting instead of a glass of wine initially. I've had many flights now. I found that my tastes change with seasons, so it's really useful for me to remind me of the different wines before making selection as wine club members. Last time we were there I usually get the charcuterie platter and the brie and garlic, but the sliders were so delicious, I hand a second. We were offered a dessert -- Tiramisu -- which everyone around us raved about. I was too full by then -- garlic and brie and bread was my "dessert - that my wife ordered it. She, too, found it fabulous! Overall, except for the cooler temperatures and Fall foliage and wind, we love the picturesque view of the Columbia River from the inside comfort of their enclosed patio. The outdoor area, although it has nice glass fires, remains a little too breezy for us. However, younger folks definitely were not bothered at all with the cooler temperature with the fire pit lit. Finally, we always feel welcomed when we come in, although they are expecting us. As members, we can make reservations for wine tastings. It is clear, though, that everyone who stops in is treated just as well as we are! That's really nice! P.S. I didn't take pictures this time, because so was ready to eat and drink! Fantastic, friendly service, including a firepit to take the chill off the more-windy moments on the patio, and very-innovative wines (the 2017 Malbec is my favorite, available only to club members). Every seat has a stunning view of the Gorge. Grapes are grown across the Columbia River in Dallesport, in a valley that allows them to ripen more slowly. The tasting room has been in business since 2018, and is located in a new housing development of upscale homes that also has a cutting-edge medical and fitness facility. read more

This place is wonderful. The folks who own it are very friendly, and the wines are extraordinary. They serve nice panini, and on Sundays their mom makes birria. It is owned by a couple of young brothers that went to wine school at WSU. It is in a quiet spot on the Columbia river, so you get a view as you sip. The tasting room itself is cozy with beautiful views of the water. Hard to pick a favorite, but we really liked their take on the Rose (Rubi) and the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon. We stumbled on this tasting room while on a day trip, and although there was a private party going on in the other room, we were treated to a very pleasant time tasting wine and talking with the wine maker.
