Intricate tablescapes and decor everywhere, with amazing vintage pieces and beautiful furniture. I have been everywhere, and there is NOTHING like this. We spent our first 30 min there just walking around in awe. They are super dog friendly! Dogs allowed inside and all the employees seemed happy to have them there. Our dog had a wonderful time sniffing. I did a wine flight so that I could get a bit of everything. The tasting room is full of light and all the colorful vintage decor sparkles. No two inches look the same. The staff was so friendly, petting our dog and checking on us just the right amount. The wine was lovely. There was so much variety in the flight and each one was totally unique from things I have tried in the past. We spent hours here playing "I spy" with all the decor. I will be thinking about this place for a long time and can't wait to return!

It was a small winery so I wasn't sure what to expect but I met the guy running place and found out a little about his family legacy so after that I was sold! Located right on 2nd Street in The Dalles, it's a great place to stop if you're wandering the various tasting rooms and bare pubs in the area. Since it was my first time here, I did the flight. The first wine, the Locomotive, had me with the very light taste with hints of honey and papaya. Not one to typically drink whites, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. On a warm or even hot day, this would be perfect. As I made my way through the tasting, I found that I was enjoying several of their wines. The High Tension, their club favorite, was a full bodied blend of Syrah, Merlot and Barbera. A perfect everyday drinking wine And good for parties where you need a wine that pleases many palettes. The other standout for me was the Barbera. Very smooth, full body and slightly jammy. Since I'm in a Barbera club at Cascade Cliffs, I left with the Locomotive. I'm looking forward to a warm spring day to sit in my deck and enjoy with friends. The tasting room inside is small and simple. A picnic tables and seats out in the paved area out front, nice on a sunny day. I'll definitely be back.

Eric and Erica are so gracious and truly want everyone to enjoy their wines, the vineyard and their experience. Located in the quaint and tiny town of Mosier, the pace is laid back and casual; no pretentiousness here! Yay! There are tables on the side deck overlooking the river plus picnic tables in the back and a few seething areas inside. Dogs are welcome on the grass in the picnic table area. We both did the tasting so we could try several of their wines, two white and three reds. While I typically prefer bigger reds, I really enjoyed their Chardonnay with hints of pineapple and perfect for a summer day. Of the reds, we really liked the Primitivo made from dark grapes with big flavors yet easy to drink. Definitely a winner for me! What I particularly liked is the ability to bring your own food and picnic. We stopped at aPine Street Bakery for their delicious Italian sandwich which was the perfect accompaniment to the wines. Next time I'll bring various items to create our own charcuterie to graze on While we just drink in the wines and setting. Can't say enough about the charming vineyard, gracious hosts, delicious wine and location of this winery. Will absolutely be back again and again.

There…read moreare several seating areas: a large patio surrounding a garden of native plants with chairs and couches around the perimeter; Adirondack chairs near the vineyard overlooking the grasses and hills; indoors next to a fireplace with sweeping views of the property; and even private tents up on the hill. We were thrilled to be there on one of the first sunny days in a very rainy 2022 Spring, so we sat on the sunny patio with the bright blue skies and native plants as the backdrop. We were greeted with a glass of Cab Franc Rose, which I had never had before, and we both really enjoyed it. We selected the flight since it was our first time having COR wine and we wanted a variety. The flight arrives in a tin bucket with individual carafes of each pour. There were four plus a complimentary pour, so three whites and two reds. Of the whites, the Cab Fran Rose remained my fave and I also enjoyed the Pinot Gris which was crisp and light. I'm a fan of big, bold reds but because of the sun, the red wines got so hot that we couldn't drink them which was really unfortunate. They did include a small bag of ice in the bucket to keep the wines cool but it was no match for the sun. Next time, even if I am tempted by the sun, I will select a seating area in the shade so we can enjoy all of the wines in the tasting. To round out our experience, we ordered the charcuterie for $35. COR continues to be very careful with Covid protocols so the charcuterie is a kit that you put together. Olympic Provisions salami, a box of hearty crackers, Marcona almonds and casteveltrano olives in mason jars, and a soft cheese were provided; all delicious. Service was warm and friendly, they answered our questions thoroughly. Some customers like to have the staff pour each taste and explain the wine; at COR you pour your own and info on the wines is provided on a card. I prefer it this way so I can drink at my speed and our conversation isn't continuously interrupted with a description of the next wine. Everyone has their own preference but this style works for me. Will definitely be back!

Locaged in Mosier, I didn't realize that there were vineyards in and fruit orchards here, having always stopped in Hood River and Parkdale, never venturing further west. But just five miles past Hood River, the charming town of Mosier with its incredible vistas, trails, vineyards and orchards exists and can stand in its own. Smaller, quaint and even more charming and laid back than its much larger neighbor. The outdoor area here is beautiful with incredible river views and in the other direction, Mt. Hood. There is a covered area outdoors and seating on the lawn for those craving sun. All precautions were taken during Covid to ensure safety and an enjoyable experience. The wines are delicious! Rich, dark, bigger - reminding me of Zins. My preference is for the bigger and bolder reds so I was very happy with the wines I tasted. If you buy a bottle, the tasting fees are waived, and I was happy to buy a few to enjoy back home. The Cab Franc was my favorite and I also enjoyed the Syrah/Grenache blend. The staff happily educated me on the wines while asking me about my preferences to find a match. They shared the history of the surrounding area and the original inhabitants. Nearby Memaloose island was a burial sight for the Indian tribes that lived in this region, who did not bury the dead but created vaults on the island. This was the first time I tried Memaloose wines and I'm so glad I did! I'll definitely stop here again and next time plan on driving on into Washington to try the wines there. I realized that the beauty and good wines just starts in Hood River but there is so much more to this incredible area! Time to explore!
