I wanted to share our experience at Tiffany & Co. while shopping for a 40th anniversary ring for my wife. We had first visited a nearby high-end jewelry store but were not impressed with their selection, so we decided to stop into Tiffany's. It was our first time there, and we were warmly greeted by the security guard upon arrival. Our sales associate, Noush, introduced herself and took the time to listen carefully to what we were looking for. She guided us to a beautiful selection of rings. We were immediately drawn to the Tiffany Knot ring because of its unique design and variety of finishes. Throughout our visit, the staff was attentive and even offered us water. Noush was friendly, knowledgeable, and never pushy. She gave us the space to make our decision at our own pace. We told her we wanted to think it over and would return after lunch. She encouraged us to take our time so we'd feel confident in our choice. When we came back, we were again warmly greeted, and Noush escorted us to a private showroom. She offered us champagne and chocolates, which were brought in by another staff member. After confirming our selection, Noush carefully reviewed sizing and let us know the ring would need to be ordered and sized, which would take a few weeks. To our surprise, it arrived in just 11 days. We returned the following day to pick it up and were once again warmly welcomed and taken to the showroom, complete with champagne and chocolates. Noush presented the ring, and it was even more beautiful than we expected. Overall, we highly recommend Tiffany & Co., especially Noush. Every member of the staff--from the security guard to the sales associates--was professional and welcoming. My husband surprised me with a trip one evening to a place where every woman wants to go...Tiffany & Co. !! He had ordered me the ring of my dreams and we went in to take a final look and size it. This is when we met Noush. A normal trip to Tiffany would be fabulous, but with her hosting us through the experience, Noush made it spectacular! She made this more memorable than I could ever imagine. She brought out the champagne, boxes of chocolates in Tiffany blue boxes and put us in a private room where we could see our ring for the first time. She literally made this such a special event for us and I will always remember her for it. I walked in here yesterday needing to make an exchange for the thoughtful Christmas present I got from my husband. He got me a beautiful bracelet but within my daily routine & lifestyle I was worried I would easily snag it on something and break it. So we walked in yesterday to exchange it for something else. After perusing around their entire store I landed on their Paloma Picasso's collection with three olive leaves. With the help of my very helpful sales professional, Dekermenjian, I fell in love with these earrings. She showed me how you can wear them traditionally and you could choose to turn the vibe to twist up to lay parallel to your ear lobe giving it another look. Long story ahead , I received a necklace as a birthday gift but it did not fit my neck. At my first visit, I had pleasant service. I wish I remembered her name, she was very kind and helpful to me. We planned to have my necklace shipped over to NY to extend the length. After thinking about it, I changed my mind and I called to cancel two days later. I returned to the store about two weeks later to pick up the necklace and planned to exchange it for something else in the same price point. The man that helped me at repair was very kind, even though I accidentally gave him the wrong receipt. When I got the necklace back, I asked another sales advisor for helped. The second I asked her for help, she looked bothered. She said she would help me so she brought me to the jewelry area. On our way she greeted another customer of hers (I'm guessing) so nicely and full of joy. I thought, oh wow she's really nice, she'd give me the same customer service. I was absolutely wrong. I asked her if she could show me jewelry that was in the same price point as the necklace. She responded "there's nothing else in that price range" as she's looking at her work device. And I said "how about the infinity ring"? I barely finished my question and she respond "nope no infinity ring" I said "oh wow really? I saw it online". ( also I've been looking online prior to this - there are a few items that were totally within the same price of the necklace, even less). She scoffs and leaves to go get an iPad. She's looking and offers a bracelet. At this point I'm over the whole thing and I said yes, but still happy about the bracelet - as I mentioned it was a gift. She puts it on me and we move to another area to complete the transaction. She's typing and then asks for the receipt. I told her it's in the bag. She only finds the receipt that was given to me by the repair guy. She told me it's not the one she needs and says "can I take the bracelet off please" and looks at me as if I was going to take it or something? Her whole demeanor changed at this point. I told her repair probably has it. She's making more phone calls and it takes a while. Mind you I have my baby strapped on. Then she says "seems like a misunderstanding, I was confused but I understand now" I'm like oh ok cool. "Then she asks for the phone number of the woman who gave me the gift". I simply told her "oh I don't have the number on me, let me go get my phone, my husband has it" - before I could even finish talking she puts the bracelet away and packs the necklace back in the bag I brought it in and says with an annoyed look "well I'm going on a little break right now, when you have that figured out you can come back and ask for me". It was one of the worse customer experiences I ever had. I walked out and got my phone and walked right back in. I was helped by the manager and another sales advisor named Briana and I had a much better experience. They were so polite and patient with me - idk if it was because I looked upset. They were SO kind and even acknowledged my baby. The other woman did not even look at me to talk or acknowledged my baby. They helped me in the end after I had the information needed. I learned that the other sales advisors name was Darlene. She totally treated me differently since I was just exchanging an item - which is truly unfair. Maybe I caught her on a bad day - but that's no excuse. I get that here certain policies to exchange, but at least be patient with customers. I'm giving two stars for the other sales advisors that were helpful, kind, and patient with me. If you need any help from this store, please ask for Briana Hodge. She was super helpful and sweet. She was patient and made me feel heard - as well as the store manager. read more

In reality, I wanted to give this location a fair chance since I've been coming here for a few years, however, reading other people's reviews were definitely on point. The customer service here is absurd this goes for the sales staff members. They follow you around which implies pressure because as soon as they get a chance, they will try to approach a sales tact. They are not friendly and screen customers with assumptions and looks. How dare you(rude lady) cut me off during my phone call as I asked where I wanted to be transferred to? It's obvious y'all don't communicate well internally and due to someone not communicating, I get a call today saying that my extra links are ready for pick up, however, I was there two days ago and I took two links with me that day. I came to the store knowing exactly what I wanted. It was an incredibly easy sale for the SA. The item is a gift, so I wanted it engraved. We went over engraving details (very simple, just a date). It was not a very luxurious experience if that is what you're looking for, no one even offered me a glass of water and it was a slow Monday. When I went to pick up my item, the engraving was done incorrectly. I was told that a new item would not be given to me, but that they would scrape off the wrong engraving and do it again. No apology, nothing. I'm so disappointed, especially because now the gift will not be here in time. If you're looking for a luxury experience I would recommend Cartier or Van Cleef. read more

I was skeptical about going to this Tiffany & Co because of all the negative Yelp reviews, but my wife dreamed of getting a Tiffany necklace since she was little and I wanted to get it for her to celebrate her first pregnancy. We were very lucky to be served by George, who had a kindness and a warmth during the whole process. He helped show us different necklaces and was not pushy or rude at all. On the contrary, he was personable and very excited for us. Obviously, there is a lot of selection at Tiffany, and the value is going to be at Tiffany prices. The manager Michelle is extremely rude. I assume because I am younger, she had the need to feel snobbish towards me. This is not my first purchase at the store, but will definitely be my last due to her lack of good customer service. The new Tiffany lovestruck bracelet is very poorly made, and it was a gift received less than a week ago.. she said I could not do a return or a refund because I wore it I was just trying to exchange not even get a refund. I also asked for it to be cleaned and she refused. Her only suggestion was that I spend $130 to send it in to get a clasp installed on it. I would rather drive 45 minutes to the Beverly Hills location because I know they treat their clients decently, which is part of the Tiffany experience. I'm a sooo glad we decided to purchase our wedding bands at Tiffany & Co. It really is true what you hear about Tiffany's, they really do take care of you when we buy their jewelry. I will tell you an example. We purchased our wedding bands here and yea it cost more then other jewelry store brands. But it is so worth it. The staff at every single Tiffany store we have been to, have been amazing, they are very friendly, professional and respectful. They don't pressure you AT ALL!! When we found the perfect rings for us, they had to special order my ring size from the Tiffany store in New York because the ring I picked out was recently released. They received it 2 days later. Then we had to had my wife's ring resized because her size is 6 1/4. And they do not make rings in quarter sizes. It is absolutely amazing how they resize the ring and make it look like it's part of the ring. Everything worked out perfectly with the ring purchases. Then the crazy thing happened next. The day of our wedding, literally when we were about to walk through the doors to walk down the isle, our little ring bearer had to go to the bathroom and he was holding on the rings. He RAN to the bathroom and he dropped the rings and accidentally stepped on my ring while he was running. So my ring had small little scratches on it. And my wife's ring had minor scratches on it. So I called the Tiffany store a few days later and told them what happened, we spoke to Lindsay and she has been helping us with a lot,like ring resizing and engraving. Lindsay is the sweetest person ever!! Thanks Lindsay!! After I told her what happened, she said don't worry about anything, she will take care of getting them all fixed up and looking brand new. We dropped our rings off and they were sent to Tiffany headquarters in New York. It took a little over a week for them to be fixed up, and we got our rings back in BRAND NEW condition. So when I say Tiffany takes care of you, they will take care of you, you can even take your ring in to be cleaned and polished for free. I recommend you purchase your Jewelry at Tiffanys, as you will not be disappointed at all. The guy at the door was kind and nice but the sales guy Timothy was cold unwelcome and rude. He made a phone call after looking at my ring and the return time and gave my ring back saying " I can't help you with this " . I love Tiffany's! They greet you as you walk in and ask you what your looking for. So, first you see someone following you from place to place but that's only so you won't have to wait and someone can show you something right away when your ready. They are all very charming and the store is super clean. The manager noticed I was wearing a Dodger's t-shirt and told me they were the ones that made the Super Bowl trophies as well as the World Series trophy! It was a wonderful experience. You get what you pay for unless it's the Tiffany Maker's Wide Chain Bracelet. Purchased this a couple years ago. Took it in for repair because the spring in the clasp had given out. I was told it would cost $150 and take three weeks. I asked if it could be rushed and was told they could promise two weeks. Today I received a call saying it would not be ready until July. Yes, over three months. I was told parts are back ordered. If you pay well over $1,000 for a silver bracelet you would think it would have a reliable clasp. If in fact it did need repair at some point, then repairs should be timely. If they can't get parts they should just replace my bracelet. That is the type of customer service I would expect from Tiffany. So disappointed. I was going to purchase the matching neckless. NOT ANYMORE. Yes, it's in a mall, but this is one of the best malls in Los Angeles as far as I'm concerned. I can blow all my money at Target, then head over to Tiffany. Or, is it the other way around? The security guard always greets me even when I'm wearing my kids Jack Purcell kicks and denim shorts. Even better, I'm not shunned from the sales professionals behind the counter. Scott Berg was nothing but informative and kind when I had a few questions about Jean Schlumberger, and sales manager Esmeralda Rosas has years of Tiffany experience, which is valuable if you have a question that pertains to past pieces that may not be stocked anymore. Most of my jewelry is 'old Tiffany' and it's nice to have someone that remembers them (meaning, it's not a knock-off). However, I mainly come here for the customer service department to get my items steam cleaned. Lauren (I think that is her name) was very helpful and extremely thorough with my jewelry cleaning, tightened my earring posts since they were slightly loose, and even went out of her way to help me find a former transaction from almost ten years ago in their system. Greatly appreciated! True this location doesn't have the traffic that touristy Rodeo Dr. does, but I also go during the week on purpose so I don't have to deal with the crowds. Most recently I was dealing with the Topanga Canyon store to help me replace a broken Christmas ornament from a few years ago. I couldn't find it anywhere online, even the first person I spoke with at Tiffany couldn't locate this ornament. I finally spoke with Kim Even at this location and she was terrific. She got the information from me and after a few days I heard from her... she located exactly what I was looking for! In a short time I had the ornament with the engraving exactly as the original! The instinct would be to give five stars, of course, but with their prices, I have to go with 4. That being said, the service is outstanding. Everyone is so kind, they offer free cleaning for all products, and one of the gentlemen in customer service told me that if I take my bracelet to have the machine engraving done by hand (which is only $30), they include a free polishing (which is normally $50). We're to start, this was another poor choice of mine to go to the Topanga location of Tiffany & Co. We have always admired there quality and wonderful stores. The Topanga location has the design however a few people can make that all go away. Our most recent purchase was small but meaningful as it was a spontaneous birthday adventure in the mall. From the minute we walked in we were judged, eyeballed and not greeted. It wasn't until we walked around half of the store and a charm necklace caught my wife's attention that we were approached and it was in a whaat do you want attitude. We did have multiple bags from other stores so I could not understand the poor treatment as obviously we where shopping this day. My wife selected a charm necklace and it had red on it not my favorite color so she asked if it can in another. Answer was no and we continued the purchase. This is were Tiffany then let me down as well. We leave finish our day and then I kid you not we get a Tiffany email with the same charm on sale in a blue and it was a a very discounted price. That sure was a devaluation instantly taking a Birthday gift from a special gift to should we return and exchange. My wife the sweetheart she is said she love the one we got and let's move on. I then emailed Tiffany & Co and explained my experiences. Hopes that they will not do this to some else. They never replied with a comment or anything. Just a email that was a autoresponder that said I was important and would hear within 24 hours. Let me tell you I'm not so proud of our Tiffany wedding rings anymore. To be honest the sale thing just makes me want to by something else. I literally have been to every Tiffany & Co in the LA area in the past 2.5 weeks (crazy, I know!) - Santa Monica, Bev Hills, Century City, Beverly Center, Glendale, Pasadena, Canoga Park and Costa Mesa. I also went to all three Tiffany & Co. in the Vegas area - Crystals, Caesar's and Bellagio. I met a lot of SAs (sales associates) and one of the most helpful and sweetest was Lisa Lohri of Topanga Canyon Mall. I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews at this location (or at any location, really) - every Tiffany & Co. I've been to have been flawless with service and all SAs I've met have been super eager to help me! Well, the reason why I was at this T&C location was because I was on a hunt for yellow diamonds. I had seen the sola yellow diamond ring at the Pasadena location and once I set my eyes on a drop of liquid sun shaped into a modified brilliant cushion cut, I KNEW I didn't - no, I COULDN'T settle for anything less. With the approval of BH, we decided to up the purchase date of our ring (there is a price increase Jan 15th!!!). In addition to not wanting to pay more, we also knew the sola ring was a hot commodity, since: 1. there aren't many in production, 2. they are attractively priced, 3. everyone seems to want them! The biggest carat sizes in our price range were sold within ONE WEEK of our search - that definitely drove me into a frenzy. And that's where Lisa came in. She calmed my nerves and told me she would do the best to get me what I wanted. Even though we weren't planning on buying a week ago (when we first met Lisa and visited the Canoga Park location), Lisa was extremely helpful and showed me all the yellow diamonds in the store in addition to showing what was available in the system, white diamond rings, and colored gemstone legacies. She spent so much time with us without the expectation of a sell. She knew BH and I lived in Pasadena and that we would most likely end up going there for the final purchase. Well, she was wrong! We were so blown away by her attention to detail and enthusiasm that we cancelled our original appointment with another SA so we could be helped by her, and her alone!!! Granted, sometimes I don't agree with her and I feel like she might be BSing me (i.e., on price increases), BH and I know it is all part of her "act" as a sales person. We had a morning appointment this past Saturday (1/8) and by noon, I was the proud new owner of the sola yellow diamond! The ring is very unique in that it is set in 18kt gold but the micropave setting and the 72 round colorless diamonds are set in platinum. Also, T&C provides interest free financing on e-rings! It is called the "Tiffany Time Account" and you can put anywhere from 25-50% down and the rest can be paid in 3 - 12 months. I love it! It is being re-sized (along with BH's Tiffany lucida ring) and I can't wait until it's finished and I can finally bring it home! Before anything though, it's going into the safe until he can formally propose :P read more

Do not ever attend this Tiffany & Co. location - drive to Santa Monica or Beverly Hills. This location is not true to Tiffany's outstanding reputation whatsoever. As a repeat customer at Tiffany & Co. stores globally, I am disgusted by the behavior of this location and find it completely inconsistent with every other Tiffany location I have attended. I dropped off six items for routine cleaning with an employee named Sydney last Sunday. Upon arriving to pick up the pieces on Tuesday, the same employee, Sydney, went to grab each that had been cleaned. When she returned with my jewelry, my Tiffany 1837 Hoop Earrings in Silver were not with the rest of the pieces. I pointed this discrepancy out, and almost immediately was confronted with defensive behavior. Sydney showed me she had not recorded the earrings when I dropped them off, suggesting they were never dropped off in the first place. Usually, this misrecording is something I would notice as all other locations have had me either write down the pieces I dropped off or have gone over the list they recorded with me personally. However, Sydney did not do this. Shockingly, she also did not request my identification to release the pieces to me at pick up or request my signature for pickup. When I notified her of the mistake, she said she would search for the earrings but did not recall them being there. Obviously, this was quite alarming as I had dropped them off only two days prior. She returned from searching for the earrings with another worker, clearly involved in security. This man had told me they checked the security cameras and were not able to see the earrings. I requested to see this footage, which I was told they were not able to do unless requested by law enforcement. Unfortunately, they also indicated the footage was blurry. At this point, I was hopeful they would continue searching for my jewelry that had been lost by a Tiffany employee regardless of their insisting the earrings were never brought in. The employee, Sydney, and the security worker suggested I had not dropped them off and was essentially lying about bringing them in. When the employees were unable to come to a calm and rational conclusion for the discrepancy, I had to leave to attend a concert in Los Angeles and said I would be in further contact. Five minutes later, I received a call from the Tiffany store in which Sydney told me she had "found my earrings" and was "much happier" that she located them. To my surprise, she had completely changed attitudes in her contact with me. I immediately returned to the store to collect my earrings. When I arrived, I asked her if she was going to apologize for her behavior and insinuations regarding my character. In return, I received numerous excuses for the treatment I received and no apology. In the end, my earrings had not even been cleaned and the rest of my pieces were not cleaned to the usual standard. This behavior was completely unprofessional and inconsistent with all experiences I have had at Tiffany locations globally. This behavior was evidently gaslighting and suggesting I was attempting to mislead the store. As a young woman, I feel the response I received was due to my young age and the appearance I had. As a repeat customer at Tiffany & Co., I do not expect to be treated as though I should not be a Tiffany customer. I was treated based on observations as though I could not afford to shop at this company, which is genuinely appalling. I would love to continue shopping at Tiffany but this behavior is simply unacceptable. The manager at this location is known for treating customers based on the appearance of their ability to shop at Tiffany. Unfortunately, if this is the mindset of workers at the Tiffany Topanga Mall location, they need to reevaluate their mindset and customer service work. Ultimately, I love Tiffany & Co. as a company and am saddened by the tarnish the Topanga Mall location puts on the outstanding Tiffany & Co. reputation I knew to be true. read more
