I used to go somewhere else but they were not gentle with her and made it significantly worse so I have been hesitant on getting her groomed again. Until I found this place! When I first spoke with the employees here, I knew they loved dogs and they completely understood my situation. They made me feel comfortable and assured me that my dog will be well taken care of. My dog usually can not walk after the groomers but she has not trouble walking out on her own once finished here!!! My dog is double coated and was matted but they still managed to groom her thoroughly even though they had to be very patient with her. They take their time to do things right! They really do care about your pet's well being and will prioritize that over anything else. (I also brought in my shiba who was shedding like crazy but had barely any hair coming off of her once groomed)

We groomed our first set of Standard Poodles for 14 years - until they stepped off the planet. When we got 2 new pups, we started by trying out 3 groomers. All were good . . . but when we requested a #15 blade for a very close shave, they refused. I think this is because they think the dogs will burn in the sun. We're with the dogs 24/7 and we would not let that happen. The super close shave buys us time. Our Poodles grow hair so fast, it is important to shave close in the summer. We found Tails of the Valley. Dawn agreed to use a #15 blade. The huge bonus was Dawn's excellent detailing. PLUS, our "tough guy" male normally shakes the entire time he's on the table. He eventually relaxed with Dawn! We'll be back!
