All of that work was done incorrectly, period. to the extent that I am now having my 2,200 ft2 home floors ripped up once again and repaired correctly by a licensced professional. The issues with the new flooring began immediately after installation. In the areas where they tried to install new tile the grout had begun cracking and falling out before the workers left each area that they were working on, explaining to me that it was due to the 'quality' of the grout. I later found out it was not due to the grout but was caused by poor workmanship since they had skipped the important basic step of installing some 'hardiboard' between tile and subfloor, throughout my entire home. Regarding the hardwood flooring: his 'crew' made many miscuts of the new hardwood flooring lengthwise yet installed the pieces anyway leaving a finished zig-zag appearance. this along with no clearance allowance where the wall and floor meet reflected the overall lack of knowledge and expertise of flooring installation became very apparent. Worst of all Mohamad stated that he could refinish a portion of my existing hardwood flooring which abuted the brand new tiled area he had installed and I believed him. His 'crew' allowed the electric floor sander to literally skip and bounce across the existing hardwoods and the newly installed tiled area. The workers severely gouged, scratched and paid no attention to the direction of the grain of the wood, leaving a finished look of a worn-out scratched up vinyl record album, or picture a CD that has been run over along I-5,tread and all. Oh, I forgot to mention that we just discovered today that Mohamed and crew installed a toilet without installing the wax ring, how is that even possible one might ask who can do such substandard work? what type of person does this? how can they live with themselves? This was the final episode in the disastrous outcome of my interaction with this organization. I am a disabled/retired gulf war era veteran. I thought I had seen it all and yet this is just another experience I would not wish to ever repeat. I am writing this review as I am now presently having the entire job redone, by another licensed contractor. My only shock is that I had thought I had checked out Mohamad thoroughly, and made an assumption that a younger upstart licensed and bonded contractor would only want to do a good job to build a reputable name in our community, I had no idea how wrong I could have been, and it has cost me dearly.

It saved us a lot of time and money as very often if one company can't do their part of the work on time it delays the entire process. We were on a very strict timeline. Fiximize team completed everything a couple of days before the due date. They also left the space clean and free of any construction debris. The work he performed on my home caused multiple issues that required immediate and costly repairs. This included: * Improper solar fan installation that caused a roof leak and damage to insulation and electrical components * HVAC duct work that came apart and reduced airflow--blowing hot air into the attic instead of the home * A saddle valve installation that led to water damage on custom-built garage cabinets I've had to spend over $1,800 out of pocket to fix the damage he caused. I purchase a newly renovated home in Lynnwood at the beginning of September and I hired this company to come in a just wipe down all surfaces, dust, clean bathrooms. The house is empty except a couch and a couple pieces of bedroom furniture. It is newly renovated and had been vacant so I felt like it was a pretty easy job. I asked them to clear the cobwebs in corners, clean bathrooms, dust and wiped down kitchen surfaces, sanitize, and clean the crumbs/stickiness in kitchen cabinets/ drawers. Alex was the woman I spoke to on the phone who gave me a price estimate and set up my appointment. She was very nice, helpful and professional. I left work on the day of my appointment to come to let the two ladies in, returned to work, and came back from work two hours later when they had finished. They were waiting outside when I arrived and I paid $160 and tipped $15 each. I went into the house to take a look and luckily they hadn't left the driveway yet because there was spray foam clear that had not been wiped from the front of the oven. (No problem one lady came in and wiped it off.) Things looked fine but I was in a rush to get back to work so I left without really checking. Now that I am finally moving in I am discovering that it seems as though NONE of the kitchen cabinets or drawers were cleaned. There are crumbs, dust and sticky that I'm finding and I'm having to wipe down everything! Which would not be a big deal had I not paid someone to come in and do it first. Hired this company based on a recommendation from my property management company for a move out…read morecleaning. An employee came for an appraisal and quoted me at $400-$650 for a two bedroom 900 sq ft unit. I felt this appraisal was super broad but chose them because of the recommendation and they told me the house was in good shape (cleaner than average) and it shouldn't be price at the higher end unless they ran into anything really dirty. I was not provided an arrival time until 6PM the night before and they told me they would be there at 6:30am.... I no longer lived in the unit so this was a hassle. I texted the cleaner multiple times asking for an update and never received a response. I finally decided to go back to the unit to check it out. When I arrived, all the doors were unlocked and no one was there. This was alarming because this unit has had squatters before and our unit is right on a busy street. I didn't receive the bill until a week later and once opening it I was shocked to see we were charged over the maximum estimate. The bill was not itemized and did not provide an explanation as to why it costed that much. Only response I got from the owner was that the property management company (Maple Leaf) has a strict cleaning list and they charge the maximum in case they have to come back to clean more. 1. I don't see why that is my problem as a paying customer. 2. They did not disclose to me that they always charge the maximum in case they need to return beforehand. If I had known they would charge upwards of $700 for the cleaning, I would have gone with a different company. Feels like the estimate was just a way to secure the customer. OVERALL: I felt like they planned on charging me the maximum price beforehand and that the estimate was just a sales tactic. The bill was nonspecific and feels unprofessional. I feel taken advantage of and would not recommend this company to any of my friends who also rent. Bad business for move out cleaning.

After explaining my goals, he did by far the best job of explaining in detail what the process was going to look like, each step he was going to take, what materials he was going to use, and more importantly the "why" behind everything. This was confidence inspiring to someone who isn't intimately knowledgeable about construction, as it helped educate me on what to look for when shopping for quotes. When you're spending thousands of dollars on a project you generally want to know what you're getting, otherwise you simply place the trust on the contractor to not cut corners. Not only did David provide a detailed documentation of every step he planned to take, he pointed out the details in person while the project was ongoing. I changed my mind mid-project and decided I wanted several more square feet of concrete, and he was able to modify the plan no problem. As the project came to a close David made it clear that we could stay in touch in case there were any concerns. It gave me the impression that he takes his relationship with clients seriously. He is a passionate individual with a strong vision of what a good construction process ought to look like. I would definitely reach out to him again for future projects.
