If I could somehow send my excitement through this review, I would! My husband and I live in Wellington, and we were thrilled to discover this restaurant on Grubhub. We ordered for the first time tonight, and wow--we're beyond impressed. Not only did our food arrive hot and fresh, but every single ingredient in both of our meals was absolutely delicious. Everything was a perfect 10/10! We still can't stop talking about how amazing it was. Chef's kiss! Today is my daughter's birthday. We decided to go celebrate her birthday at Tiho's Restaurant. Sunday special is all day happy hour. Our reservation is at 5pm and we were seated right away. The ambiance of the restaurant is really nice. Our waitress was Analise. She was very friendly, polite and professional. She was attentive also. Great customer service. Their dinner menu items were kind of limited, but they have the traditional Mexican food items such as Tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and fajitas. We were all very happy with our food choices. Their smothered burrito is huge!! This restaurant is kind of pricey compared to other Mexican Restaurants. But we were very happy with the service and the food. They were all delicious. The complimentary chips and salsa were very good. The tortilla chips are definitely homemade. We will definitely come back here again for lunch or dinner. read more

Super busy even for a Monday evening. The service was pretty quick, could have been better but a packed house and the servers were doing their best! The prickly pear margarita was SO good! The chicken nachos (not pictured) were great as well, a perfect thing to order for a large table to share. The smothered burrito was delicious, definitely big enough for two to share. The space itself was comfy and accommodating for a party of 5 (and a small baby). The only thing I didn't love was the metal bull hanging off the wall that made so much noise (every hour) in an already loud space, it was too much to be around by the end of dinner. read more

Tihos is one of my favorite happy hour spots! The margaritas are so good and actually strong, which I appreciate lol. The chips and queso are delicious and the music is such a fun vibe. The bartenders are super friendly and really attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. It's just an all around great place to hang out. Happy to have you in town. read more

Let's start by saying there were maybe 10 people if that in the main sitting area. We got sat right away but waited like 15 mins for a server to come by and take a drink order then leave for 10 mins and come back with the drinks then leave again for 20 minutes. Ordered takeout to take across the way to the brewery. The host was really kind and attended to our order very quickly. For the great: I got the shrimp taco and the fish taco. Both were absolutely amazing. Delicious flavors and very large portion. Would 100% recommend both tacos. As mentioned above, the host was really friendly and got to our order quickly. He was awesome. Subpar: the chips were incredibly salty. The salsa was nice and spicy and I wish I could have had more of it, but couldn't get past the saltiness of the chips. The flavor of the chicken mole enchiladas that my husband got was good! But they were kind of cold. My sister in law also got this dish and said hers was cold but flavor was good. I will absolutely be back because the food I had was delicious! There were some areas for improvement, but I'd give this place another try for sure. Very fun festive atmosphere (I am partial to Mexican/Tequila restaurants). We were greeted right away and seated in a booth. Our server was so friendly and accommodating- I cannot say enough good things about her. We were given chips and salsa right away- the salsa is made in house and is perfection flavor and heat wise. The chips are also made in house and are light and airy. I'm picky about my margaritas- I don't like pre mixed super sweet margs- and these are all mixed by hand and are delicious. We got the short ribs and those were very very good. I would definitely recommend those and the carne asada fajitas. The meat was very tender and a large portion. I would order that over and over. I had the chicken quesadilla which was good. But I thought there would maybe be more chicken in it. But in that sense it would be better as an appetizer rather than a meal- which is what I chose to have it as. For desert we had the deconstructed chocolate mousse and that was very good. The desert coffee drink was very good and my rum desert drink was excellent. In my opinion this spot had big shoes to fill because we so loved the restaurant that had been there previously. The food was just ok. Waitress was inattentive. While we were there, a man seated near us asked for the manager to complain about the doneness of the vegetables. Manager or whatever he was tried to explain the cooking process of their fajita vegetables but was very dismissive of the customer (the veggies were charred to the point they were inedible). At one point saying "we can only fix problems one at a time". From what I heard they didn't comp anything or even apologize. Their giant quesadilla is giant and has way too much cheese. They really need to provide paper napkins to dab up the insane amount of grease dripping from it. I was really hopeful about this place until I tried it. Won't be back. read more

I have driven past this restaurant several times since it opened, and it was only by dumb luck that I discovered it. My first and only experience to date started with a clean, comfortable atmosphere and excellent service. Two servers took care of us and both were polite and checked in regularly. I ordered the pork carnitas fajitas and the meat was cooked and seasoned perfectly, as well as the vegetables. I don't know if they simply use a higher quality meat or if they are that much better at cooking than most Mexican restaurants, but I took the rest home and it was better as a leftover than most fajitas I have tasted are when fresh. The meat pulled apart with no effort. This will now be my only choice for Mexican food. Not the cheapest meal but the food was worth it. Great value. read more

Best queso we've had and the chips are delightfully thin and crisp! The quesadilla and tostadas were delicious and more than we could eat. However, the fajita ingredients were a little too blackened - it all tasted more burnt than flavorful. The service was perfect and the atmosphere was delightful! We will be back! read more

I really wanted Tiho's to be a great restaurant because the atmosphere was AWESOME but too many other things kept that from happening. The restaurant was about 60% full and we were able to get a couple of seats at the bar which was great for us since we prefer to sit there but struck me as a little odd for 630 on a Saturday night; usually a good restaurant is more full. I thought we'd have good service since there were 3 bartenders but it took almost 10 minutes for anyone to notice we sat down and when I got my drink, it was not correct. I'd asked for a margarita with no salt and got salt but they quickly fixed it and it turned out to be pretty good. Unfortunately we had to wait a number of times to ask for more drinks and were only proactively offered new ones once. We got chips and salsa and the chips were great - obviously homemade, warm and not too salty - but the salsa was bland and tasteless, like someone had puréed tomatoes but forgot to add anything else to it. It took a few minutes to get someone's attention but I was able to ask if they had anything spicier and the bartender looked a little embarrassed when she told me no. She quickly offered some hot sauce (not house made, she told us) and we added it for some flavor. Not great, but better. Thinking the queso might be better, we ordered some and got it pretty quickly but again, it didn't have much flavor. One thing I appreciated about it was that it didn't thicken up quickly like a lot of quesos do, so that was a plus. We ordered the barbacoa quesadilla, a carne asada taco and a carnitas taco. The quesadilla was large but the barbacoa didn't have much flavor, was pretty dry and in big chunks that were difficult to bite through. The tacos were alright but nothing special. The prices were in line with other restaurants. Like I said, I really wanted to like Tiho's but it just didn't happen. Maybe we'll try them again in the future (I try not to judge based on a single visit) and see if it gets better. read more

You have to try Tiho's!! Amazing food. My wife had the Chimichanga and I had the Beef Spare Ribs. Both were plated beautifully and tasted even better. The potatoes that were with my meal were sooo good. Do yourself a favor and order the Sopapillas !! They were fantastic and come with whipped cream, honey, mole, and an amazing strawberry sauce. Service was great, and the place has rustic but upscale feel. They also have dozens of different Tequilas to sample. We will definitely be back! read more

Wow! We really had a great anniversary dinner here. I had the Carnitas fajitas and my husband had the Carne Asada fajitas. The carnitas were tender but with crispy bits and perfectly grilled vegetables. Ditto on the beef. It was tender and juicy. The generous servings means that we will have another complete meal at home. We finished with a lovely tiramisu. The host stopped by the table and was glad to hear that we had driven over from Greeley. Our waiter was just what you want efficient, friendly and upbeat. We had made a reservation and specifically asked for a table near where we could enjoy the band when they started. When we arrived two young ladies where at the hostess desk and told us what our two options were but the two options did not really meet our request. They did have open tables but we were told those were reserved for parties of four and we were only two. So we opted to wait for a table to open up. We had been waiting for a while and started to feel neglected and invisible until Roy approached us. We do not know if Roy was a manager but if he is not he definitely should be. He made us feel important and noticed. He offered us complimentary drinks while we waited and actually communicated and had a conversation with us. He really turned our entire experience with the restaurant in to a positive and fun night. Roy was an amazing host. The Carne Asada and Shrimp fajitas were delicious and our waiter was very attentive And friendly. read more

Wowza!!!!! Omg! This new place was packed, all tables reserved and a line of people waiting to get in. We have NEVER been able to find a decent place here in Northern CO. This place hands down is 5 star, and the martini I had was smooth and absolutly delicious. I could tell they hired a mixologist to help with the signature cocktail menu. I had the snapper and hubby had the carnitas fajitas. Coming from Javier's in Newport coast just two weeks ago to here. I will say this place was far better and 1/4 of the cost.
