I was so excited to learn that there was a Tii Cup near me in Woodbury. I made a special trip to come out because I really enjoy their street food fried tofu or spicy crispy chicken with their boba. Ever since I first discovered this spot in San Diego, I was very much looking forward to having more of this savory snack! It's to be of note that this location does not offer the street foods that all the other locations do, they do have the bubble waffles in various flavors, but they do not have the crispy chicken or the fried tofu which is common for all of the other locations. I was on the Woodbury side of town today so I slid into Tii Cup where normally I frequent the Roseville location. I still very much enjoyed Woodbury but ranking 4 stars because I find the Roseville one a bit more unique with more seating, more ordering kiosks and outdoor patio tables when the weather is nice. Tii cup overall carries all the same products no matter which location you select from boba teas to Biing (shaved snow). I opted for a watermelon slushie today and it hit the spot. It wasn't super busy so the 1 staff member made sense. The parking is spacious here which is another added bonus. If I were rating Tii Cup based on solely their boba I'd be giving it 2.5 stars, adding their bing I'd give Tii Cup a 4 but when I add in customer service, my rating goes down to 1 star. Tii Cup is never my go to boba place but I do go because it's close to home and will hold me over til I make the drive to my fav place. The flavor of the drink is usually fine but the boba is so inconsistent. Sometimes it's delicious and sometimes it has the texture of being 2 days old. Today, I placed my order right before leaving the house. Even saw that the order said confirmed and had a pick up time of 8:10pm. I get to Tii Cup at 8:05pm, walk in the door and was greeted with, we're closed. I was like oh! I placed an online order. And he says, yea, we refunded it. I was like well online it let me place the order with a pick up time after you close, he says yea, I can't do anything about that. So I look at my phone and it says order ready! The orders progress tracker shouldn't have moved through confirmed, preparing, and ready if my order wasn't even being made. This isn't the first time this has happened either. It was a holiday and I was craving boba, I looked on their website and it said they were open, so I placed my order online just to get there and they were closed! I called the next day to get a refund, and thankfully the person was nice about it. But Tii Cup has to fix their system. If it's closed, the store should say closed and not accept online orders for pick up during closed hours. It doesn't make sense. After being inconvenienced two times for the same issue, then being met with the cold customer service I'll go elsewhere to get my mediocre boba in town. read more

We stopped by about 15 minutes before closing, and although we felt a little bad about the timing, we were already in the area. A couple ahead of us received their drinks right as we were placing our order. We ordered three drinks and spent some time playing the claw machines while we waited (we probably spent over $20 on the smaller machines alone). While we were still waiting for our drinks, an employee said, "Just a heads up, we close in two minutes." There were a plethora of options, and we were thrilled to try something new! We prefer a blended drink, so the Snows were a great option. We have made this our new go-to tea place after Chatime and sencha tea. Their menu is larger and have flavored shaved ice like taro and matcha. So. Woodbury has very few options for boba/bubble tea. There is Sencha, one in Woodbury Lakes strip mall, and then finally Tii Cup. Despite that however, Tii Cup is some of the best boba in the twin cities, and in minnesota for sure. The only other place I've tried that compares is MuMuTea in downtown Minneapolis (near UoM). MuMu Tea has more bakery options, which is nice, but as far as boba quality, topping options, and drinks, Tii Cup and MuMu Tea are equivalent. I've had consistently good, soft, boba (except for a few rare occasions). And they have so many "special" drink options!!!! Service is good, and I'm a regular so I've gotten two free drinks due to their punch-card deal (10 drinks and you get one free). I recommend the Ube Twister!!! Its so delicious and one of the only ube inspired boba drinks I've seen- and mind you I've been in tea shops all over the twin cities, and also in Syracuse, NY. (p.s. if you're ever in Syracuse go to HiTea near Syracuse University, the "Fire Matcha" drink there is THE BEST boba drink known to man). You won't regret going here!! read more

I love Tii cup and I normally go to the Richfield location but I was in the area and stopped by this location. My drink tasted great, I got my usual wintermelon milk tea. But my encounter was just so awkward. I felt like the girl at the register did not want to help at all, just kind of was blank staring at me and I'm not sure if she was new. But because of the lack of customer service I will just keep going to the other locations and avoid this one. Great drinks and typically great people. This place was amazing. I'm going back tomorrow. I'm visiting from California so I'm lucky to have a lot of good options for boba, and this is better than some places I've had back home. The boba was perfectly chewy and was just the right amount of sweet. The tea itself was creamy and had great flavor. I got 100% sweetness and it wasn't too sweet. All in all it was amazing. The customer service is horrid, enough that I will never go back even though it is right around the corner. Tried to redeem my stamp card, and the cashier gave instant attitude that it was handed to her after I told her what I wanted. Mind you I was presenting it the entire time and she apparently did not see it nor ask any of the customers if they had a stamp card. Great job blaming the customer for your own mistake, if you can even call it that. Took mere seconds to update the order anyways. Even worse, the customer behind me was then denied their stamp redemption since it was not presented before they ordered. Owners take note... sad way to lose customers. read more

You need to go to this place now! This will be my new weekly (or even twice a week) staple. We went here and tried the icii's with popping boba which were extremely flavor and refreshing. The woman working also let us try samples of their signature milk and Thai teas and that is for sure what I'll be getting from now on! I took my son yesterday. We both ordered Thai tea with pearls. Love that they brought it out instead of us having to go in.
