The food is always yummy and the service is always friendly and great! Doesn't matter if we dine and get it to go- consistently a win!

Placed order online with a msg it would be ready at 4:23pm, got there at 4:24p and it wasn't ready...until 4:37pm. So I sat and waited. Finally got my order and noticed the chips for the 2 for $24 was missing and had to ask...Staff finally handed it to me. Didn't realize until I got home that the queso was missing as well. I was pissed!! To top that off, the burrito was cold and tasted like it had been sitting for a while. If management gave a damn about this restaurant being productive and producing quality results, they would focus on managing the staff, formally training them so they have attention to detail / checklists for orders and time management skills. While waiting the extra 15 minutes, I noticed one staff member was talking to some blonde girl at a table instead of working while the other staff member was running from the back to the front. Worst experience ever at this location and I paid for a meal that I didn't receive and left a damn tip as well during the online order process which they do not deserve. Honestly, I should get money back for not receiving my full order. We will not be coming back until this location gets is act together. Update 8/17/26: Mgmt sent a text saying they would refund my order, acknowledged the issue and the employee who would be disciplined. No refund has been processed at the time of this update. Update 8/19/26: Mgmt emailed and submitted a refund due to the issues experienced. I appreciate the gesture and follow through. read more

The food was all cold and soggy and flavorless. The lettuce was not fresh. Tortillas were cold and straight from the bag. Service was not good either with getting our order wrong. When we asked for something that was missing on our order (which we paid for), they said we'd need to pay extra for it. Terrible experience. read more

The restaurant is cafe style. They offer specially priced items a few times a week. Today was two tacos, chips and a drink. Great value and great tastes. They have a large salsa bar. If spicy is an issue steer clear of it. Staff was friendly, even coming to the table to offer drink refills. Overall, worth a visit to check it out. read more

I have a job site not far from this location and have hosted a lunch here in the past for a couple of our partner companies. I really like this spot because they are so cool about folks working from here and sharing their internet. It helps too they the food is always good, always timely in getting to the table, and always freshly prepared. They also play some great music in this location. There really is no difference from the appearance of one Tijuana to another but the people here make a difference and I'll continue to come here when in town. read more

This location is located in a shopping plaza and has great parking and offers shoppers good food while hitting other stores like Target or Dicks Sporting Goods. I ordered a chicken bowl and my wife had a beef borrito. Both were good, and they were served with a side of tortilla chips that had a seasoning on them, which was really good and a cross between Cool Ranch Doritos and Tortilla Chips. I'm a big fan of "fixins" on my handheld foods. The shrimp burrito and it's toppings were a perfect complement...Sweet, sour, salty, crispy all inside a a soft shell flour tortilla. Comes with 2. *Steak quesadilla : perfectly crisp on the outside with tender mean inside. Not greasy and not dry. Very Tasty! * Shrimp bowl: was pretty good. Shrimp felt a bit more chewy but still flavorful and delicious. There were lovely contrasting ingredients in the bow and it was a pretty good size portion * The atom bombs or nothing to write home to mom about.... We decided to do Takeout since they had a special going on for the days leading up to cinqo de mayo. We normally drive 30 min to a Raleigh location but on the way we realized all locations were closed except holly springs so we drove another 20 to that location, no big deal. We each ordered the deal which consisted of 2 tacos, chips and a drink for 5.99. We also added a side of loaded guac. I am telling you, there is nothing better than the loaded guac, this stuff is amazing. The service was fast and tacos were awesome! I like to visit Tijuana Flats on Tuesday's and Thursday's for the great deals! Tijuana Tuesdaze includes 2 tacos, chips and a drink for $5.49 and Throwback Thursdaze includes a burrito, chips and a drink for $5.99. This time my boyfriend and I wanted a quick bite to eat after my soccer game on Thursday so we stopped by and both ordered the special with a chicken and black bean burrito. I also ordered a Corona, they have a lime bomber (which I have never seen before) that puts the lime in the Corona easily. I usually prefer to sit outside but it was a bit too muggy this time. The food came out quickly and the burrito was larger than I expected, I had enough for lunch the next day. I visited the sauce bar and pumped a few of the sissy sauces into the small cups, my tolerance for heat is VERY low. Overall, I thought that everything tasted good! As far as the service goes, it is always great. If they are available they will get the door for you when you are entering and leaving. The the chimichanga was $10 and no larger than a taco. The salad was decent fairly priced. I waited about 30 minutes for my take out order. Normally it wouldn't bother me but there were atleast 8 other orders that were completed after I placed my order. Apparently the kitchen didn't get my ticket. I have been to this location several times in the past and there is usually some issue with the kitchen whether it's a incorrect order or delay in order. Visit during covid This is my first visit to this location. The staff were super friendly which is a must especially when you can't see smiles under the mask. We ordered our food and sat down. I ordered a tortilla soup and chicken quesadilla. We quickly realized how overwhelmed the staff were. There were lots and lots of to go orders which included a line of impatient people. While we were there we couldn't help but notice people request refunds due to long wait times. The phone kept ringing, to go people upset, new customers walking in all while those 3 girls ran that business with such friendly demeanor. I wanted to tell them how much of a good job they were doing. The poor manager who was cooking had to apologize so many times and refund people. Our food arrived almost 30 min later, lukewarm warm soup and my quesadilla a little burnt. I honestly didn't want to say anything after observing the stress from the workers. Will I be back? Maybe. Soup was great. Salad had many pieces of salad turning pink aka going bad. They also forgot to put my avocado ranch dressing in with my salad which made for a terrible salad as I only had blue cheese and honey mustard dressing at home which doesn't exactly scream Mexican salad. I would have took it back but live about 10 min away and didn't feel like driving back. Very disappointed and surprised they screwed up my order yet again. I was treated to Taco Tuezday last night and I left disappointed. Full disclosure-I am a self proclaimed 'Flathead', or in laymans terms, a TF fan. (Surprising to me that I had never reviewed this particular TF's as it was the 1st one I went to years ago) Paranthetical ramblings aside, back to my experience... Arrived 645pm anticipating a reasonable wait due to the promo, but not what seemed like an eternity. 15 minutes minimum to order! Finally placed our order and opted to sit outside. Order took a little longer than usual, and once it arrived, it was correct and edible. We were then totally forgotten. I had to go inside twice to request service and still had to go back again for my request. Unacceptable! Quality of food-3 star, definitely average. Service-1 star, I am not sure if the lack of service was a one time Staffing issue or if this is their normal? I doubt I will return. First time going to a TF and so glad I came to this location! It was very eclectic, fun, and inviting. I was a part of an event and was able to Sarah (in charge of PR?) I forgot :( but she was amazing at telling us the history of TF and how they are where they are today. The staff was also excellent and their service was wonderful - all full of energy and smiles. I was able to try their chips + salsa/guacamole/queso and absolutely LOVE the guac..it has this hint of lime and cumin that is so different from your regular guacs. Also tried the blackened chicken chimichanga, banging chicken burrito, and shimmy chimichurry steak tacos. My favorite was the chicken burrito - the chicken inside was boneless-wings-type meat and was just a wonderful giant package of flavor. The steak tacos were good too but slightly salty for me. Came here twice in one month. First experience was awesome. Manager and server met us at the door and explained the process. Ordered chips and guac and the chips were seasoned, crispy and warm! The guac was so fresh and thick. They don't skimp on the chips! The Norito bowl was yummy. Food could have been warmer but everything was fresh and well seasoned. Very filling. Huge hot sauce bar. Beer available. Outdoor seating is nice. Second time we went it was packed with students doing a fundraiser and there were no seats outside and restaurant was very noisy.
