We tried this place here in Panama City for lunch. They weren't busy, which was good. The inside is nice and clean because this is a new location that recently opened. I tried their dos tacos meal, which comes with any tacos of your choice with a drink. I ordered one soft chicken taco and one hard shell chicken taco along with some nachos and cheese. They have cheddar cheese or the pepperjack one. My husband tried their garlic lime shrimp bowl. It comes with sautéed shrimp, cilantro rice, black beans, poblano peppers, onions, salsa and some other things. The bowl was good but not the best I have ever tried. I preferred the tacos over the shrimp bowl. Overall I'm glad this location opened up and we look forward to trying other things on the menu. See photos below. read more

The food is great and tasty ! The first time we had it was nice but they could of been warmer food . The rest was great ! The chicken is my fav only go to . I'm not much of a spicey lover so I just do without their sauce . The service was little snippy the first time so hope they hired new staff. read more

Was in the mood for some Mexican food, so stopped in today for lunch, I should have kept on driving. I ordered a chicken burrito and a small drink, it seemed like it took forever to get the food to the table, and there were only 3 tables in the place. the tortilla was so tough you could Hardley eat it, so I took all the filling out and used the small hand full of chips they give you and made nachos out of it. The food was pretty bland, did not have much flavor and for the price I paid should have gone down to El Jalisco, would have gotten a full meal, with bottom less chips and salsa, oh well lesson learned, won't return or recommend this place read more

At first while approaching this Tijuana flats in Panama City, my fiancé and I were going to go through the drive through. We were greeted by a young lady who just yelled out "what's the name"!! My fiancé and I said we thought it was a drive through but the young lady seemed stressed and handled the situation in a rude manner, not off to a great start. So I decided to go into the store to order and the inside looked pretty cool and clean, greeted at the cash register was a different young lady that was very respectful. Although she was very nice she forgot to give me my change of 8 dollars ( I was going to tip her with 10 but it would have been nice to give me the option to do so) that wasn't that big of a deal though. There was no rush of people in line ( I was the only one in line)but it did take sometime to get the food out. Everything looked and tasted great. Overall because of the young lady that greeted us at the pick up window I'd have to take 2 stars off and I'd add a star back because of Lilly at the register I'll add one back on. Came here for a second time. The food is still tasty. BUT.... The music is still too loud. It is tough to concentrate on what to order, then you have to speak loudly to order or the nice people behind the register can't hear you. While waiting on your order, you have to listen closely for them to say the name on the order since they don't say it loud enough. Not to mention the loud music drowning out their voices. I think I will stick with the drive through for now on. read more

I really like the food, and we have made them our regular Mexican place for fast food. We use the mobile app to order, and then pick up at their pickup window for convenience, and we rarely have to wait. The food is good, the portion sizes are usually more than reasonable, and everything tastes fresh. My only complaint is that they are somewhat expensive, especially if you order some of the more expensive options and add-ons. You can get a good price if you stick to the menu, and use the app, as it lets you earn rewards that accumulate quickly. The staff are really nice as well. read more

This was my first visit to this restaurant, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The first thing that hit me was the music was WAY too loud. Not a good atmosphere to try to make a dining decision. Difficult to concentrate. The menu wasn't bad, there was a good selection. But a bit pricey for what we got. And the music was WAY too loud to comfortably communicate with the cashier. The add-ons were ok, but the chips were sparse. After getting food and needing a drink refill (it was 100 degrees outside), there was only one person at the counter to take orders and handle customers. The line was backed out to the door. I stood at the counter, but never got a refill. A refill station accessible to customers would be a better solution. I am also frustrated with POS stations at establishments that prompt for a tip before getting service. I am a tipper, but not up front. Not a good first impression, not sure I'll return. System flow can be improved. read more

I understand this location just opened up but this was one of the worst wait time and experience from a restaurant. We ordered our food at 12:05 pm and did not get our food until 12:55 pm. I mean this is suppose to be a "fast" food location. When I inquired about the status of the food, I was told you are "3-4 orders back". I saw several orders go out, inquired about the food again, and was then given the same answer. After I finally received our order and left, they forgot our rice and beans. The food is mediocre at best. The prices is comparable to other Mexican restaurants even sit down ones. The portion size was small. There are so many Tex Mex restaurants in this town, I would be very hesitant to try this place again read more

Overpriced fast food, one hard shell ground beef taco is almost $5.00, it's cheaper to go to a regular sit-down mexican restaurant. I would not recommend this place they're better choices nearby. read more

First time to go was in Sarasota Florida so very pleased to see this one open in Panama City. While we are only "snowbirds" always like going to restaurants that we don't have at home. We arrived around 2 pm on a Friday and the restaurant was not packed at all. You order at the counter and then order is delivered to you when ready. Wife had shrimp tacos and I had chicken taco. Both served with chips as a side. If you do them as meal you get two sides and soda. Staff was very attentive and was constantly cleaning the restaurant while we were there. You are going to pay more than the bell but the quality far exceeds the bell. Certainly worth the visit if you have never tried before. read more

I hate being this person but I have given Tijuana flats a few tries here in Panama City, but each time I went the food service has not gotten any better. Today I waited 35 minutes in the curbside pickup line after ordering my food 10 minutes prior to being at the restaurant. A total of 45 minutes. As well as this, two patrons in front of me left the curbside line before even receiving their food. I understand it takes a little time to prepare food but I can't continue to do business there with how long it continuously takes. read more
