This restaurant has some okay food, but not great service. I came here on a Saturday afternoon, and there was only one big family with eight people in it in the entire restaurant. I came here with a table of four, and somehow, it took 25 minutes for my food to come out which is weird, since it wasn't crowded in the restaurant. In terms of food, I ordered the chicken seekh kabob with biryani and naan and tasted decent (There was lots of flavor in the chicken). Ordered delivery through Uber Eats, which is a plus, but it matches my experience from when they first opened. It's OK if you are jonesing for Indian food, but lacks a lot. Naan is not as fluffy and crispy at the same time as it should be. It's more like a pita. "Very spicy" really means a tiny bit of tingle. Channa literally tasted like refried beans from any of the million Tex mex places around. Entrees are not as flavorful as Indian/Pakistani should be. The experience/interaction.... I called in to place a to-go order for pickup. After nearly two minutes of ringing, a woman picked up the call but didn't speak to me for another 35 seconds because she was arguing with a coworker - this should have been my first warning sign. When I arrived to pick up my lunch, I noticed that everything on the buffet looked like it had been sitting there for hours without being stirred or taken care of properly. While I stared at this repugnant food, I waited for about a minute for an employee to even acknowledge my precense. Keep in mind, I was the only person in the restaurant (& now I know why). I explained to the young lady that I placed an order, although I should've just walked out after seeing the buffet-type lineup. She did not say a SINGLE word, not even a simple "hello", except to tell me how much I owed. The food.... I ordered a chicken curry combo bowl. It looked absolutely disgusting, but I tried my hardest to give it the benefit of the doubt. Boy, was I wrong! It was very low quality & chewy meat. The "curry" was what I can only describe as brown water with oil floating on top - entirely flavorless, but somehow still tasted disgusting. I moved on to the biryani; bone dry, flavorless & had pieces of the so-called "chicken" mixed in. Next, I tried the naan. Cold, hard, & crumbly. I ended up just throwing it all away & cutting my losses. 0/10 - I will NEVER be back. What a waste of money. read more

Note: The 5 stars is for what it is. Not for "omg best Indian fud everrr". Now that that's out of the way. If there's already an option for fast-food Indian in the OKC/Edmond area, I don't know about it. Which isn't saying much, really. Either way, Tikka Craze does an amazing job of being just that: quick Indian. My best comparison is Panda Express (for style of serving, not quality of food if you're a PE hater). They have their combos of 1,2, or 3 entrees with a side and some naan. White or biryani are the choices, and additional sides are $1.49 extra to add on. This isn't the sole system, though. They have specials and such, so you're not beholden to the combo options. The employees there are really friendly and eager to serve. They are clearly a business that wants to succeed and is excited to be open. I'm not sure if they'll do this forever, but during our visit, they did offer us some samples (not that we NEEDED them. I already knew what I was gonna be all over.). This method came in handy for them later, though. STORY TIME (skip down if you don't care about the story): ** An older couple walked in (yes, I'm going to point out that they were white because I find that entirely relevant. Sorry not sorry.) just inside the door, looked around, then turned to leave immediately. So an employee (who I assume was likely the manager/owner) called out to them "Wait, come try!". They hesitated and opened the door again to leave. I'm sure they thought the man meant "come try this by buying some", and it seemed he got that impression as well, so he followed up with "No no, come try for free to see if you like it!". Good save. We Americans love free food. So the couple decided to try it out. After this point, I stopped paying attention to avoid being TOO MUCH of a creeper. I did notice, however, that after they tried something, they stayed and ordered a meal.** Butter chicken (5/5): I can't say I found any flaws with this butter chicken recipe. Let's all keep in mind that this is "fast-food". Even so, it was some pretty tasty butter chicken. Honestly, I'd say it's on par with butter chicken I've had at sit-down places. Crucify me, if you must, but I said what I said! Spinach potato (4/5): Still great. I can't explain the 4/5 with words, just feeling. You know that feeling you get when something isn't quite 5/5 but you can't put your finger on why? That. It was quite good, though and probably something I'd get again after trying a few more things. Just check out my picture for physical appearance. It's perfect for naan! Biryani (5/5): Like the butter chicken, the rice was on par with some of the other "nicer" places I've been to. And they give you a TON. Perfect for all the saucy dishes. Naan (5/5): Fluffy and good. They give you one large piece for your meal. Some people may desire more, but for me it was the perfect amount for a 2-entree meal. ON PORTIONS: They're fair. The entire meal is filling, for sure. Yes, there is a ton of rice and a large piece of naan. At first sight, the entree portion may seem small, but it entirely works with the scope of the meal. read more

Wow! What a nice little place. Had the buffet, which was small, but everything was outstanding and fresh. The lady gave us descriptions of food items (which were nicely labeled as well) and welcomed questions. The spicy butter chicken was my favorite along with the spinach. I'm crazy about Tikka Craze! This was a nice little find near home, definitely a colorful spot with delicious food. I personally tried the sweet butter chicken, and the spicy butter chicken. Both were wonderful! Prices were more than reasonable, and the service was good. I will say that when my wife and I ate here, we were the only people so I'm unsure of what this place would be like when it's busier. Also, they've got a buffet option but I personally did not opt to do that. My only real gripe/concern is only some menu items are cooked to order, buffet or not some of the items come from the buffet trays. The food was delicious regardless, I just wonder if it was our timing or not. Either way we will definitely be going back! read more

Tried their 2 entrees with biryani rice. I chose the chicken seekh and sham kebab. They should consider reducing the amount of sugar in the food they cook, and actually adding some salt to the bland rice they make. Maybe perfect for the american palate, but nowhere close to what it is actually supposed to taste like. Just like the california roll being considered real sushi in america, this food is not even barely close to what it should be like. I was visiting family in OKC when I decided to satisfy my desi food cravings. I found Tikka Craze through Yelp! and decided to give it a try. I was happy to see a Pakistani restaurant in Edmond. I ordered bunch of things just so I can get a good sense of how their food is. Here is my ratings on what I ordered: 1- Chicken Tikka -- The taste was okay but didnt taste fresh 2- Seekh Kabab -- Seekh Kababs were soft and moist and spiced just right 3- Butter Chicken -- Too sweet and did not taste like butter chicken 4- Mango Lassi -- Good 5- Chicken Curry -- Good 6- Side of White Rice -- You can't mess this one up 7- Potato Cutlets -- It tasted okay but the presentation was pretty bad Overall it was an okay experience. The place looked nice and clean and will certainly draw people in who don't know much about Pakistani food, however for desis, it's going to be a hit or miss. read more

I love this place. I always tend to gravitate toward the spicy Indian Butter chicken with biryani every time, but I've had the spinach dish which is good as well. The naan bread here is so fluffy! You've heard the expression full me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. This was the second time. A few weeks ago I went into tikka craze and ordered a three entrée combo. The taste was good but the portions on two of the entrées were very very small. The curry chicken I received had four small pieces of chicken. Not nearly worth the $10 that it cost. Today I went back and had a coupon that I had picked up on my prior visit. I was in the process of ordering a two entrée combo, thinking that they wouldn't try to cram it all into one box and that the portions might be a little better. As I was ordering I handed the young lady the coupon for a dollar off she looked at it and asked where I got it and when. I got it there about 3 weeks ago in the display that was on the counter. She said they no longer honored this coupon and asked what I wanted for my meal. I I asked again about the coupon and whether it was worth losing a customer over one dollar when she said that she could not honor it. So I guess customer loyalty is not worth a dollar at tikka craze. I'm very disappointed. Since I was the only customer there and have been time and time again, I don't think they'll be around much longer at this location. read more

First of all great location. Food maybe not be perfect but the best Pakistani food in OKC. Naan is fresh. I had Paya which is a special order meaning it takes 10 minutes to prepare. Paya was a little liquid but taste was great. My wife had biryani was good. Sheesh Kabab was good. Kofta was also good. French fries were mind blowing. One of the best. Sweet lassi freshly made was amazing. One of my kids had chicken wrap which was good as well. Kids liked butter chicken as well. Overall environment was clean and decent sit down for a fast food. Would I go again? Absolutely. Would I order the same dishes? Absolutely. Now that's why I gave it five stars. read more

I woke up late on a Sunday and decided to go to which which. As we got into the parking lot we were pleasantly surprised to find a new Indian restaurant. Needless to say, we decided to go here instead. The staff was very friendly and helpful, letting us sample some of the dishes and walking us through the different options available. I ordered a chicken tikka wrap and my partner ordered a bowl with butter chicken and binyari rice. The tikka was very flavorful as was the sauce on the wrap. The butter chicken was on the sweet side compared to some places that make spicer recipes, but it was very flavorful and we would definitely order it again. Binyari rice was very tasty, and the samosas were good too. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by this fast casual Indian restaurant. It was fast, flavorful and cheap! We spent less than $20 for two people including two drinks and a tip. We will definitely be back! read more

It was meh, definitely didn't have an authentic flavor in my opinion - nothing like Himalayas in Moore . I ordered mild chicken tikka masala, expecting that it would still have quite a bit of spice to it, just not enough to burn your taste buds off. There wasn't a hint of spice at all. It was way too sweet and tasted more like it was made with bbq sauce. I wasn't a fan of the buttered chicken either - it tasted like grilled chicken with some very mild flavoring. Really bland. Perhaps that's how it is supposed to be, but I didn't care for it at all. While the entree's weren't that good, the naan and white rice we're awesome. I probably won't go back though unless the pregnancy cravings hit at 9pm again like they did tonight :). read more
