Tried this place on a whim. When you come in it doesn't look like anything fancy but it has some awesome Indian staples! It is also super affordable! We actually split a large box plate. The chickpeas are KILLER! I also really liked the lentils. All of the meats we had were super tender and great. There is some sort of magical green sauce that they give you to put on the grilled chicken. I'm not sure who is currently working, but he seemed like the guy in charge. He had great customer service, let us try multiple things and helped us with what to get since it was our first time. Def won't be coming here for a romantic date but if you're in the mood for some healthy, authentic food stop on by! It was great! read more

My wife and I went in for dinner and the lady at the counter said she knew we were first timers so she gave us sample of several dishes and told us the samples were free and if we didn't like the food it was fine and we could go somewhere else for dinner. We were incredibly impressed by that approach and we tried the samples and really enjoyed them. My wife had goat with a rice dish and enjoyed it. The portion was huge and she couldn't finish it. I had butter chicken, both hot and mild, with rice and naan and it was fantastic. I couldn't say enough good things about the service here. Next time I'm in Edmond I am eating here. read more

This place may deserve 5 stars for a true lover of this style food, but some is a little spicy for my tummy. The staff is always very friendly and will let you try many of the items before ordering. I'm passing through the area, so maybe this is "good" Indian for Edmond? Unfortunately, because of their model, everything was cooked hours before and is just sitting there trying to stay warm. For the curries, that's actually okay, but the butter chicken was cloyingly sweet. The "spicy" curry was barely that, but it was okay... probably the best meat item on the menu. The tikka kababs were pretty dry and uninviting. I specifically asked "is your naan fresh," and got a "yes," but she pulled it right out of a foil pouch, and it was definitely not fresh. I'm not sure they're baking it in a real (fired) tandoor, either. The lassi was frothy and quite light and tasty. I'm really glad they let me sample different stuff, because I wouldn't have made the right choice otherwise. This food is okay for a quick $6-10 stop. read more

Finally a quality desi restaurant opens up in Oklahoma City. The food is very tasty and the staff is very friendly. We have tried all their dishes and everything is great. The mint chutney is watery and sour. The rice tastes sour. The Butter Chicken and Chicken curry is served in a watered down broth. The spinach dish my husband ordered was almost black. I also like my food spicy. A lot of people in there area of town may not like food to spicy so this is very smart of them to keep the food mild. As an American having lived abroad and even married a Pakistani girl, I'm very familiar with Pakistani cuisine. The food was fantastic for a "fast-food" style service. The biryani was well spiced. The butter chicken had a great sweet creamy sauce. The aloo palak (potatoes and spinach) was some of the best I have ever had. I stuffed myself on some desserts too which were very tasty! My wife was pleased with the authenticity, which is no surprise as the owner is from the same city as my wife, as we discovered. The staff was friendly and courteous and put up with my weak attempts to speak their native tongue. This will definitely be a place we will frequent as it had good pricing and quick service. It is the First Authentic Pakistani Restaurant in the Okc. Most of the people in OKC haven't had any pakistani food, the taste of pakistani food is very different from indian food and Tikka Craze has done a wonderful job in keeping that difference alive. It was my first time to this place with my friends, ambiance is great, seating is ample, very clean, nicely organized, staff is friendly and food is extremely fresh. you can also use free wifi. Bilal, the restaurant owner is very friendly man from Pakistan. I will highly recommend trying Biryani, Chicken Tikka, Seekh kabab and chicken Karahi. I came away entirely impressed with Tikka Craze. The place was extremely clean, the employees were very friendly and attentive and patient while my wife and I decided what we wanted, and the food was excellent. We ended up splitting the combo and we had the grilled chicken tikka, butter chicken, and the Biryani rice. My wife normally won't try different foods but she ate everything and especially loved the butter chicken. We are excited to have Tikka Craze here and wish them all the best in the future. this place is great! it's nice to have another quick meal option in the area that is not burgers. they are very affordable (20 for 2 people) and the customer service was great. the staff was friendly and nice and gave us samples to help us make our decisions. the ordering style is similar to panda express, but there are fewer options. we had the chicken biryani, chicken tikka, butter chicken and naan. the butter chicken was good,but is sweet. everything else was verywell seasoned and spicy. they have a good mint yogurt sauce that you should try as well. the Naan was not impressive, but even the best Indian restaurants have a bad Naan day. we will be back! read more

Me and my wife heard about a new Indian food place in Edmond and were exited to try it for dinner. Restaurant is located in a nice area, place was clean and the staff were friendly. Business model is somewhat similar to a Panda Express where you choose entrees/curry of your choice along with biryani and naan. They also have wraps and deserts. We ordered potato cutlet, chicken curry, chucken tikka, chicken sheek kabab, butter chicken, biryani, naan and jamoon(this sounds like a lot of food but they were all in small portions). After tasting all of them, we realized that this Indian food was way too Americanized. The element of Indian spices, heat and rich flavors were lacking. There was no heat to desi chicken curry, butter chicken was sweet, potato cutlet had no flavor, sheek kabab was very rubbery, jamoon was very hard, and the naan was too thick and dry. Chicken Tikka and biryani were the only two thing that were okay. Overall, I would suggest this place if you want to quickly grab and go Americanized Indian food. Ideal for student population around this area. read more
