After several more days of trying to get information, I finally spoke with Daniella, who informed me that they didn't even have the stone yet. The installation day was just as frustrating. I was given an arrival window, but the installers never showed up during that time. No one called to let me know they were running late. I had to contact the office multiple times, and each time I was told an even longer wait time. Ultimately, the installers arrived nearly two hours after the scheduled arrival window had ended. During the sales process, they advertise that installation includes a "free new sink." What was never disclosed to me was that I would need to hire a plumber separately to make the sink usable. Additionally, Daniella admitted she forgot to send me the installation paperwork, which included important instructions on how to prepare for installation and what to do afterward. Customers should not have to discover critical information only after the fact because staff failed to provide the required documentation. What is most disappointing is that this company came highly recommended by members of my family. Unfortunately, the experience I received was marked by poor communication, broken promises, missed deadlines, lack of follow-through, and a complete absence of proactive customer service. Once the deposit was collected, I felt like getting accurate information or even a return phone call became a constant struggle. There are plenty of companies that value their customers' time and communicate honestly throughout the process. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering Tri-State to look elsewhere.

What disappointed me about The Stone Center is their computer lacked information about my porch supplies when I returned to buy my walk supplies. In the interest of time we tried to match paver color I used, from a photo on my phone. Big mistake. It did not match. As it turns out I like the new color better than the old but I wanted a seamless match. I also find that The Stone Center's prices are high. Many new and unknowledgeable customer service people are now working there. While we have had good experiences with Doug's Rug before, our most recent installation has been…read morenothing but frustrating. The caret pad we specified and were quoted was replaced with a lower grade pad with a less comprehensive warranty. Within 3 months of installation the seams are showing and edges of the carpet that interface with other flooring are failing. We have called multiple times to have Doug's come out to inspect and repair. They do not return calls and when we do reach them they give vague promises to schedule a visit. Over 5 months later nothing. This is in stark contrast to the irritating persistence of the woman who runs the showroom , schedules and collects payment. In our opinion, she is unrelenting and irritating when collecting money during the deposit and installation, and unreachable when there is a problem. After multiple broken promises to fix the issues we've experienced, we recently visited the showroom in Flanders. The state of the store says everything. It is a catastrophe. Messy, unwelcoming and dirty with the woman mentioned before ensconced at a messy desk in the rear not even deigning to greet a customer walking through the front door, but rather staring with an irritated "why are you bothering me" look until we engaged her. Even the face to face promise made to fix remains broken a month later. No follow up, nothing At this time we recommend avoiding Doug's Rugs at all costs. This is a huge disappointment as we strive to support small local businesses whenever we have a choice.
