For starters, it's bright inside, well organized and nicely recovered, even on a busy weekend day. I love how friendly and helpful the staff is here too compared to other outlet retailers. I usually come in looking for something specific but then end up with some pleasant surprises and great deals I wasn't expecting as well. The dressing rooms are nice and spacious too. And who doesn't love walking out with a little (or big) brown bag?

It's a good place to pick up missing socks or undergarments of high quality and OK pricing while traveling. I bought a couple of t-shirts from Dry Goods about 2 weeks ago. I've worn each one and washed them…read moreaccording to directions. They all have holes in them after only one wash. I looked it up and apparently if cheap cotton is used this can happen. I spent around $40/item so I expected to get more than one wear out of them. I e-mailed the company and they just said, "Sorry! You washed them so there is nothing we can do." I'd definitely spend your money elsewhere if you want clothes that last more than a few minutes.

And the group behind the register literally couldn't be bothered to stop chatting to ring me up when I found something. The sales associates used to put the clothes I collected to try on in a dressing room for me. I walked that store for at least half hour without a single sales associate approaching me even though there were 3 or 4 at the register talking and no other customers in the store. Once in the dressing room, not one sales associate approached to see if I needed a different size or if they could remove items from the dressing room, something that would have happened in the past. I checked out, spending about $400, on 3 items. Normally, I would keep my items on the hanger but that's not an option anymore unless you want a drycleaner wire hanger. Unfortunately, my story doesn't end there. When I got home, I discovered I had been charged $59 for a tee shirt that was clearly marked $49. I returned to the store the next day with the tee shirt and receipt and explained what happened. Instead of 'I am very sorry that happened, let me take care of that for you', the women made me feel like I had come to rob the store. After double and triple checking, I received my credit. I never received an apology, just a look of why I would bother for $11. Will I shop at the Eileen Fisher Company Store again? Yes. Will I expect customer service? No. Will I check my receipt? Definitely?

I was shopping looking for a green dress, the store was pretty busy and i saw this one very…read morebeautiful dress on the mannequin. i was having trouble finding the dress on the racks so i asked one of the workers for help. she helped me find the section and then when she saw we couldn't find the size i was looking for she said she could check the size on the mannequin! how sweet of her ! she went and got it for me to try on. i asked her name and she said Riley. She went above and beyond for me and im so happy with my dress. im really thankful because the store was so busy but she still did that so i could try it on. What a wonderful and kind employee!
