This is for Kailyn(last name, according to her she doesn't have one) my sister and mother said good morning and Ms. Kailyn saw them and with an attitude said hi, after that my sister went to her to ask where are the converse and she started walking away from her. My sister had to say excuse me. That's when Ms.Kailyn decided to turn around and with an attitude she said yes, as my sister is getting closer to ask the question, she starts backing up like as if my sister was going to do something to her, and Ms.Kailyn had the audacity to say that they don't have converse, but my mom ended up finding them. It was not my sister's style so they decided to leave, but before they left a couple walked in, and of course they were white, so Ms. Kailyn all happily and giggly said hello and good morning to them, while with my mom and sister she was very cold and had an attitude towards them. My mom didn't know the full situation until my sister told her and they went back to ask her for her name and last name, which she didn't want to give to them and also started acting like as if my mom was going to do something to her. When my mom asked her, Ms. Kailyn acted like she didn't know what my mom meant. I am very disappointed, it is 2023, we should do better and be nice to people, be kind to each other. They really had so many to choose from. The aisles were very clean and organized. I didn't really see too many employees on the floor, but the cashier was very friendly and offered a service to waterproof any shoe. I was aware that Nordstrom Rack is the off-price retail division of the luxury department store chain, Nordstrom. I went there not expecting Walmart or other merchants prices. I found the men's shirts and pants racks and found several items that were the color and size I was looking for. A shirt that listed at $198.98 was on sale reduced 68% to a mere $74.96. It was a regular long sleeve shirt by Polo, Ralph Lauren. With all due respect to India where the shirt was made, I wondered what costly threads were used to make such a pricey shirt. The same was true of the pants and several other items. Mind you that these items in the off price store were on yet another discounted clearance rack in the store. Nordstrom may want to rethink their sales techniques at their chain of stores before people start realizing it's not a really an off price store.

Donna Nelson was a God send! I was in so much pain in my feet from arthritis I was in tears. After…read moregoing to a podiatrist 5 days earlier and purchasing $50 inserts, my feet had gotten worse instead of better. After working several hours and hurting, I decided, to hell with the podiatrist I needed to go try Happy Feet Plus in Wesley Chapel Florida, a 40 minute drive from the house. I walked in the store and was greeted by Donna. Donna explained the scanning process and revealed my true show size (8 EE), she placed the correct inserts in my old tennis shoes, my feet were 100% better! I haven't had relief in so long that I thought I was going to be forever crippled with pain and in a wheel chair. Donna then recommended a pair of sandals, since they didn't have any work or casual shoes in my size in the store, I put them on and what relief, to be able to walk again without the sharp pain radiating from my feet. After spending quality time with Donna, I walked out with two pairs of shoes and inserts for my old shoes. Donna spent a lot of time with me and I am so grateful for her understanding and her help. I've always had wide feet and had a hard time finding shoes that fit growing up. When I had to shop for shoes before, I would pass the Happy Feet Plus stores thinking it had "old people shoes" BOY I was wrong. I am now a permanent customer forever! I will say the shoes were a little pricey but they are high quality and I would had paid any price for the relief from the pain. Thank you Donna! She ignored us and didn't say a word and then there was another employee in the next aisle over who looked at her coworker (without acknowledging us) and said "I just mopped in there, it's probably wet." Again neither of them said anything to us for about a minute until I said "so can he use it?" With my son clearly next to me wiggling in distress and this lady who had not said a single word to me or looked in my direction said "well she just said she mopped it and it's wet" I stood there in disbelief for a second and said "so that's a no?" And neither one of them said anything to us. I walked out saying "wow you guys are really weird for that" I actually usually buy all of my shoes from famous footwear but I will never be stepping in this location and probably no other location ever again.
