We went to do the final signing with the notary and I noticed the payment was to low, I told her that the payment was wrong. Something was missing and she said OK we'll look into it. I get my first statement which was due December 1, 2024 the payment still low. I call the loan officer we were working with (Tana goff) and she says oh just make that payment and put the insurance into a savings account and pay it next year when it's due, I had already paid the whole a year in advance, (cal fair plan) That's not what we set up, That's not what we were promised, then our loan was sold, then we received a bill for regular insurance because that was not paid during closing, I called her again. She said oh that must've been an escrow mistake or an insurance mistake. I'll look into it. Never heard from her Again. So I've spent the last two months doing what should've been her job! So starting February 1,2025 I'll make my first payment at what it's supposed to be with everything included, with no help from her! so just make sure anyone you use follows through because I believe she dropped the ball somewhere!

My first mortgage loan originator through my credit union seemed like the right choice since I've been with them for over thirty years. When they said I didn't qualify for a conventional loan because I didn't have enough income over the last two years, and that the only loan they could approve me for was an ARM with 40% down and a much higher interest rate than what I was willing to settle for, I thought my chances of buying my dream home was over. I then called the custom home builder whom I had been in contact with and asked them if they had a recommendation. Without hesitation, they immediately recommended Joey Walker saying that he had helped many of their buyers qualify for a mortgage loan. What struck me most about Joey when we began the process of getting approved was how genuine his character was in regards that he really did care about my situation. I then received a letter stating that I was denied the loan. No calls, no updates, nothing from prime lending. I reached out to yani and learned she had no longer been working for prime lending but I never received anything notifying me of this. Prime lending has wasted my time, credit on hard pulls and effort. I've attempted to reach out to prime lending with no response. I would beware of this company.

We were on course when we were put on hold 3 weeks later. My husband sent an email later in the month to see what the hold up was... Tyshawn Y. Specifically wrote in the reply that unfortunately time was being delayed due to the fact that refinances were not priority. Also, we were given one fee in Jun and then were told a month later that we need to pay an additional $2200 to "lock in our rate" that was given originally when we started. We were very disappointed and moved on to a different lender. It is very bad business and I highly will suggest for anyone to stay away from this lender.
