Staff were unpleasant, even slightly aggressive for a simple order, not a great way to start the day.

The bagels (one plain and one salt) were incredibly stale and inedible at 830am. Probably the worst Tim Horton's I've been to.

Ice cap machine is always broken, and they rarely have any of the good donuts, if you want coffee go to Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts.

From the moment…read moreyou walk in, it's clear this isn't just another café--it's a place that genuinely cares about quality, freshness, and community. The portions are incredibly generous, the prices are very reasonable, and the quality of the ingredients truly stands out. I love that much of their produce comes directly from Eastern Market, so you know everything is fresh. They also proudly display their breads, which come from Crust in Fenton. You can even purchase a loaf to take home, which I thought was such a wonderful touch. It's refreshing to see a locally owned, women-owned business supporting other local businesses. The homemade soups are outstanding. The chicken noodle soup was so delicious that I actually ordered a second serving--which is something I never do. The Italian sandwich is, without question, the best I've ever had. I especially appreciate that you can order it either grilled or cold, depending on your preference. The service is warm, welcoming, and genuinely accommodating. They happily work with reasonable dietary requests, which I always appreciate. The restaurant itself is spotless. I've dined in countless restaurants over the years, and I always notice cleanliness. I honestly couldn't find a speck of dust anywhere. One of the things that impressed me most was seeing the owners actively working alongside their staff. They're present, engaged, and willing to jump in wherever needed. My favorite saying is, "Teamwork makes the dream work," and Sisters Cafe is a perfect example of that philosophy in action. If you have room after your meal, don't skip the bakery case. The display of fresh baked goods is enough to make your mouth water. Next time, I'm definitely planning to save room because that Birthday Cake Muffin has my name written all over it. Everyone at Sisters Cafe seems genuinely happy to be there--whether they're working or enjoying a meal. The restaurant stays busy, and after eating there twice, it's easy to understand why. They've clearly discovered the secret ingredient to success: exceptional food, outstanding service, genuine hospitality, and a true commitment to supporting their local community. I can't wait to go back!

My wife and I ate here after having a splendid breakfast many months ago we thought we would return for dinner. They sat us by the bar there was no one else in the restaurant not sure why we had to sit next to the bar. We had other customers standing at the bar with her faces with their butts in our faces There were so many other better seats I should've said something but I didn't. We ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms, which on the picture it showed seven when it showed up there were only five mushrooms. What was missing the most was crab meat it was a literally a bunch a shake on top of barely stuffed mushroom. Mostly fancy sauce and a ton of bread crumbs to hide the lack of crab....for $17! My wife ordered a sandwich which she enjoyed I think it was a Reuben made out of turkey and I ordered a signature Smash burger. We both ordered french fries that looked like they had been sitting in the basket most of the day because they were cold, and we're starting to shrink from sitting out. By the time we were done, my bill was $90 after tipping the waitress paying their 3% rip off fee. We both were expressing discontent as we left through the parking lot. It has been a while since I had breakfast there, which I never read them for and would've given them a five for that but this menu was not that menu.

We were quickly offered coffee which was typical diner fare. My wife didn't care for it, but I'd certainly had worse. We heard about the specials and took both. One was a Doc Holliday skillet which was typical skillet material but also had country gravy. The other special was a Stuffed Strawberry French Toast dish. We also ordered the suggested Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. We knew we'd have some to take home to the kids. The pancakes were a little dry as was the biscuit were traded our toast for; but everything else was pretty great. The service was fast but somewhat rushed and inpersonal. Enjoyed sitting in a booth in the window. There are cute tables for outdoor seating in good weather but they are right on street so I likely would choose to sit inside. The food was good. I ordered the gravy omelet. Good portion and potatoes were perfectly crisp. The sourdough bread is $1 more. I think next time I would try white bread. Couldn't really taste the sourdough flavor but had great crumb. The gravy was outstanding just like my mom made. A friend tried the egg sandwich. The waitress said it was a croissant but looked like a biscuit. My friend said it was tasty. The e sausage were links which was a unique twist. I do have to say it was a little chilly so I was glad I had my sweater on! But hard with Michigan back and forth weather to properly regulate the temp.

It was really nice to be sectioned off from the rest of the restaurant and it was pretty cool to sit inside of this vault. Our server was great! He kept coming by cracking jokes and making sure that we had enough to drink. The Tilefish dish I had was okay. It was on special that night and I was expecting it to be some big showing for the market price it was listed at. The piece was pretty small, rice was mushy, and the sauce had no flavor to it really. The fish was great though, so the main part of the dish was great at least! I had multiple cocktails, one being an espresso martini which was excellent! Overall a great place though. Be careful walking to the bathroom though, that glass floor where people dining below you can look up at you is pretty bizarre.

The service was decent and our server was knowledgeable about the specials and menu in general. The food and drinks were hit or miss. The burgers, truffle fries, and oysters were a hit. The beet salad was bland. The espresso martini was pretty but did not impress, other drinks like the lemon drops were pretty good.
