It was my 55th birthday. I wasn't feeling very festive because it was one of those birthdays that fell on a Tuesday. Who goes out on a Tuesday? Anyways, after a rough morning (burnt my toast, tore my pants, dog threw up on rug) I needed a break from reality. After driving aimlessly for about 35 minutes, lo and behold, I stumbled upon this Timmy Ho's. There are many TH's'z's'z out there and they may seem the same...but I'm here to tell you, all Ho's are NOT created equal. I walked in...pondered my options..and when prompted (courteously, professionally) I cleared my throat and wistfully said "hot chocolate s'il vous plait". To which the barista responded "whaaa?". Turns out that only works in Canada. But I digress. After paying a reasonable price and a prompt directive to pick up my purchase "over there"...I patiently awaited my hot cocoa Le HoHo. When my drink was called out, I looked left..looked right....no takers....so it was surely mine! ''Twas indeed the birthday boy's delight. The drink was radiant...it was quixotic and beguiling. This location can never seem to get my orders right. Just stopped in a few days ago and ordered a BLT sandwich and a Cafe Mocha with whipped topping. The sandwich had two tiny pieces of bacon ( suppose to have four) and the drink was a Hot Chocolate with no whipped topping. That's the last time I will ever go there. read more

Wish I could give this location 0 stars. This was our first and now only visit. Can't believe how rude the cashier was to us. Went in for some cold stone Ice cream. The woman that was "helping" us didn't greet us and got annoyed when I didn't have a quick answer to what I wanted. When I figured it out she made it. Looked great. Until she put it in the wrong size container and couldn't be bothered to put it in the right one so I could get a lid for it. Then my boyfriend tried to order and all 3 options she asked for was quickly responded with "we're out." He asked "what do you have?" And she literally just glared at him. So I listed the ice cream flavors that I could see and said he could make up his own but he was done with her attitude. So he calmly says "ok I'm fine then." I go over to get rung out and she chuckled and rolled her eyes like I was supposed to offer up some sympathy. No. I was pretty over it. When the stars align and no one is in the drive-thru, I can get a coffee in a reasonable amount of time. My best story of this awful Tim Hortons was going inside to get a coffee. I was in a line that became four deep over the course of 6 minutes. No one was taking an order as we waited. Seeing as there was no one in site who wanted to take an order, I got in my car and drove through the empty drive thru. They immediately took my order and coffee. Burnt bagel edges on 2 bagels, still smoking (not steam) when I opened the wrapping 10 mins later. The Mgr gave me refund when I drove back. WHY have so many workers scheduled on slow weekday , late morning. They were bumping into each orher. Lots of talking & standing around. I went for a quick late night coffee. The workers seemed displeased/annoyed I was there. Locking the doors well I was there. The coffee I ordered was double double. This location boasts a Coldstone Creamery inside of it. What do you think of that? Go get your large double-double fix with a sheet of ice cream cake as a side dish! The bathroom is a little invasive though. The stall in the men's room is orientated towards the door and there are large gaps between the door and frame. Tim Hortons is good reliable coffee and food. You'll never a problem with quality here. Tim Hortons coffee garners many raving fans, especially here in the Buffalo area! The morning and lunchtime coffee rush creates quite a bit of traffic and long drive thru lines around Timmy's, but they serve pretty quickly. I've never felt like I was waiting extremely long for anything. It's not five star cuisine, but I'd say stopping here for a snack or a meal is definitely a step above the typical fast food options. The bagels, donuts, and other "breakfast" items would be the clear strengths of the menu lineup. I've had lunch sandwiches here a few times, and they're definitely not bad, but nothing to go crazy for. The real draw of Tim Hortons, as I mentioned before, is the coffee and coffee-related beverages. It's hard to describe it, but this is for sure some of the best coffee around. Timmy Hoe's is amazing! My friends in other parts of the country ask for me to mail them Tim Hortons coffee grounds regularly! ** Only downfall is the parking lot is awful! They need to expand, drive-thru line is out to the street in which obstructs traffic. I have noticed a lot of the Tim Horton locations have bad parking lots. This Tim Hortons is the worst. It was very good at one time but now everytime I go there I am going back because my coffee is wrong. I do not understand why it is so hard to make a cup of coffee as ordered. When you take it back in you get attitude from the owner! They ask you are you sure? Horrible service. Don't even attempt to get anything more complicated than a black coffee, before 8 am, and only then, only on a weekday. They always have a small army of staff behind the counter but they mostly bump into each other. I really hate going here, and the only time I will come here to get anything more complicated then black coffee is on the weekends when the kids insist on having timbits. The breakfast food is always cold, and I'm always microwaving any food that is supposed to be served at least warm (every once in awhile I'm forced to eat the breakfast stuff they offer and it always is room temperature..) At the drive thru I ordered a Vanilla Iced Cappuccino. I order these at least 3x a week on the mobile app at the Tim Hortons at the hospital I work at. The girl in the drive thru asked me OVER & OVER if I wanted sweetened or unsweetened. WHAAAT? It's an iced cap! I kept asking her if she thought I meant an iced coffee. Because an Iced Cap is literally a chemically flavored sugar bomb. No one is kidding themselves that there is any actual coffee or cappuccino in this drink lol. Unsweetened? The horror. As I kept asking what she meant and how they could even make one unsweetened (since it is a mix), she got more and more snotty. I finally thought maybe something had changed overnight. I checked my Tim Ho app when I got home and what do you know? There is NO option for an "unsweetened" Iced Cap. I am sick to my stomach. I came home from Tim Horton's today and the Timbits were MISSING from my order. I called to tell them and the OWNER yelled at me and told me he is no longer giving out FREE food to LIARS. I have had to call many times in the past for MISSING items or items that were incorrect. The OWNER told me to GO TO ANOTHER LOCATION! I am 82 years old and buy coffee and food for two sometimes three people. I cannot believe a business owner would treat a customer this way...wait...I cannot believe a human being would treat another human being this way. I have been a customer for over 20 years and spend $20 to $30 every other day. I will gladly take my business to another location. At least when they make a mistake, they honor it. This is less a reflection on the employees but on the owners. As a former employee, it isn't a good place to work, as dealing with the owners is incredibly stressful, in my experience. This led to a high turnover rate, with, to my memory, 6 managers and over 30 employees coming and going in the 15 months I was there. The turnover rate and the fact that I saw the same problems from manager to manager to manager, with the owners refusing to solve the problems, led to my termination, as I became frustrated with having to deal with the fallout of their decisions, and said things I shouldn't have to people I shouldn't have. The owners are incredibly involved in the store, which is the main problem. If they would let their managers manage, I think a lot of the problems would be solved. Lots of the staff leave or are fired after very shortly after starting, which leads to many of the problems that other reviewers have noted, like slow service and understaffing. I'm going to speak to the owners now-for the sake of your employees, and yourselves, please let your managers and supervisors run their store and trust them to be competent enough to do so. read more

Tim Hortons as a whole, is much better than Dunkin Donuts and a quicker and better value than Starbucks. People are always lined up in the drive through especially in the morning. It took 10 minutes and group of older employees standing by the drive thru staring at me for them to call the young girl up front to get my order. I ordered food and asked for the hash brown sticks.
