I love the grange. Always guaranteed a delicious meal here and great drinks too. The hummus is definitely a go to along with the crispy potatoes. I love that the menu rotates seasonally so there's always something new to try. Pizza is always a hit, and the cheeseburger is also so good. I also love that kale Caesar. Actually I love everything.

The Grange has been one of my favorite spots in Hamburg for years now. Today we went for brunch and we were not disappointed! All three of us got the avocado toast with a soft egg, which was delicious. I had the drip coffee and my sister had a Bloody Mary which we both enjoyed. Knowing that everything you are eating is fresh and local is a huge plus. It was busy in there but we got our food quickly and had a table right away.

I have not posted a review about this restaurant because truth be told I would like to keep it to myself. Haha! This is my ABSOLUTE favorite restaurant in Western New York! Everything about it is the best. The ambience, creativity. This was one one of my after yoga breakfast stops which included a rose cardamom latte and ricotta toast. The floral combination of rose water and cardamom hit the right notes. The ricotta toast was ricotta, pistachios, honey and mint on top of homemade sourdough. It was excellent a little sweet, salty and fresh. Honestly if you haven't been to the Grange it is top notch. Everything is homemade and fresh with combinations I would never think to put together. I have never had a bad meal there. Try out their breakfast, lunch or dinner. You will never be disappointed!

Off the charts good! Everything was fresh and delicious. The food came out fast and the place is super cute. They have an outside patio area too which is nice to sit at on a hot day.

Another exceptional evening at the Grange with family and out-of-town friends! Thomas and Kevin made our evening extra special, ensuring we had everything we needed; a most splendid dinner experience, indeed! Thank you!

the black and white on the summer squash pizza

Would have given it a five but there was a nondisclosed sweet/lemony ingredient in the summer squash pizza. Don't like to mix sweet and savory. Kale salad was great. Nice wine selections.

The colors and decor were very nice, kinda farm house. A nice look and feel inside. There's no actual servers, which I did not like. So you have to wait in line to order your food and drinks and they give you a number. Some people got their drinks after others who were in the line behind them. While the food is supposedly farm fresh, you really couldn't tell the difference. And is a bit pricey. Latte 9/10 I got caramel in it, which I didn't taste at all. It was a decent latte though. Croque madame 9/10 Pretty good. Bread was super thick but the middle was perfect, edges were a bit crunchy. The mornay sauce didn't have a ton of flavor, but it was a tiny bit cheesy. You could taste the ham, but couldn't tell it was maple flavored. The egg was cooked well, perfect sunny side up. Crispy potatoes 7/10 Just random sized chunks of potato. They would be better if they were cut a little smaller. They were cooked good, but flavor wise, they were pretty plain, they needed some more flavor of the spices and Parmesan cheese. Garlic aioli was really good flavor, not super garlicy though and a little lemony The double cheeseburger looked so delicious, i would try that next time. The pizzas also looked really good with beautifully cooked wood fired crust.

I really enjoyed the food, and the ambiance of the restaurant. You can sit where ever you choose, you can refill your own water, they have an island area with filtered water, & water glasses. So many beverages to choose from. The server was great, he had the biggest smile ever I loved it! So kind! You order your food when you first come in & you pay for it, & the server brings it to your table. The dinner menu changes all the time, I can't wait to come again to have dinner here,

Food Bleh, coffee warm not hot, hot chocolate watery, the BLT THREE THICK cut tomatoes, and a little bit of bacon, TOOO MUCH DILL SAUCE-SLOPPY, the only exceptional thing was the heart pastry! That was delicious. We had them fix coffees , but I didn't want to send all If it back. Not impressed, PLUS don't you hate that you order your food from front and you have to get your own water and such and they ask for a tip??

I can't believe we've never eaten here! It's always been on our list to try but never got around to it. I'm so sad we waited so long. My husband made us a reservation for our anniversary. First, I love the ambiance. Slightly dimmed lighting, a full working kitchen out in the open and real tea light candles at every table. Our server was wonderful! We asked for recommendations and started with the hummus special, which was a Baba Ganoush hummus. Slightly spicy and incredible! My husband isn't a hummus guy but he absolutely loved it. He said he wished he could have it at home on the daily! We asked our server for a pizza recommendation and she suggested the Nardello Pepper and Sausage pizza. It did not disappoint! We also ordered the double cheeseburger and split both dishes. The burger was SO good. Not greasy, incredible flavor. The side of crispy potatoes was OUT OF THIS WORLD . Sadly, I didn't get a pic. We can't wait to go back!

I ordered an egg breakfast sandwich with home fries and an apple juice, which came out to about $25. While the food itself was a bit on the bland side and felt a little limited for the price, the ambiance really stands out. Here's where it all fell down. After placing my order, I turned my back, reading the menu. Then I heard the microwave "ding" and saw my pain au chocolat removed. Really?? (I once had a Cordon Bleu-trained pastry chef explain that croissants should never be re-heated because it ruins the scaffolding of the butter/flour feuille, or "sheets"). I then tried the various seats in the Danish-style cafe. Stool? No love: They're metal and lack cushions. Chairs at the tables were also metal. I settled in an honest-to-God church pew: The kind the Puritans used, to reflect upon their sins. Do yourself a favor and get your treats to go.

For those who have never been, there's two entry points; the front (from the street), is wheelchair friendly, while the back (from the parking lot) has some stairs. There are two single bathrooms available in this place. If you're dining in, you can order at the counter and they'll bring the food to your table. Regardless you need to order at the counter anyway. They always have a great selection of baked goods and coffee, plus specialty drinks on rotation. They offer light breakfast and lunch if you don't want just a coffee and pastry. They sell gifts and ground/bean coffee along with flavored syrups. For this particular trip, I ventured in to get lavender syrup (Torani). I treated myself to a specialty rotating drink (Hansel and Gretel frozen coffee - frozen coffee with gingerbread and white chocolate). I also purchased a blueberry muffin and a pumpkin cream cheese muffin (also a rotation dessert specialty). All were excellent, as par for course here. I don't hear at all but speak well, so the kind lady at the front grabbed a pad and writing utensil to communicate with me, which was very helpful and so we both were on the same page. It was very appreciated. Another reason I love this place, they're so accommodating

I'd never before seen sourdough croissants or cheese danishes; there's an abundance of gorgeous loaves/boules for sale. (Cheese fondue supplies! Yes!!). A baker's rack to the right sells day-old bread at discounted prices (make your own croutons!) I opted for an almond (sourdough) croissant and a small coffee; I was asked if I wanted a mug or a to go cup? I was given a beautiful glazed mug - very charming! Two things worth mentioning: There's a small seating area downstairs, and five large tables upstairs. The stairs? A polite way of describing them is, "grandfathered-in". The rise/run makes it difficult to navigate if you're in thick boots, carrying a child, or have stiff knees. The pastry had a beautiful crunch. I enjoyed the almond flavor. And then I found: cherry preserves? I'm aware that "croissant et confiture" (eaten with jam) is a standard French breakfast, but it did change the mouth feel of the treat. I'd recommend this place to anyone wanting to try something earthier and beautifully executed.
