Let me preface this with, 'I don't like to write bad reviews' but this is one. I ordered this to be delivered and it was delivered on time. No problems there. What wasn't good was the whole of the order. Starting with the drink. Ice mocha latte that was bitter and left an aftertaste that was awful and I had high hopes for. If that wasn't enough the breakfast croissant was lacking any taste. Supposedly bacon, egg and cheese. No bacon flavor at all on a less than done croissant. I ordered two as they looked small & they were. Then I ordered a packet of ten donut holes that had a flavor profile that tasted of donut made from A cake mix that was very cheap. To say the least I will not be going back to this much anticipated establishment. Personally I polled three other people about their experience there and unanimously they occurred with my assessment. This amazing coffee shop never disappoints when I come here. I'm so glad that they opened a location for the Northwest Houston people, it's great to have access to a Tim Hortons nearby! I first learned about Tim Hortons from the Westheimer location. My canadian roots are coming into play with all of the coffee and food options from here. Food: Timbits are a classic and a must-have when you go. The donuts are also decent and taste delicious as well! Drinks: Can't go wrong with the iced coffee, the lattes and the iced capps. They are well known for their iced capp's and it's so delicious! The service and staff are nice and frienldy adn they take care of you very well. Hubby had Tim Hortons up north for a work meeting so when we saw it here for the first time we had to give it a shot. Overall, the food was just okay. We had the following: Bacon egg croissant sandwich - 4/5 Decent, kind of small for the price Sausage egg croissant- 4/5 same as bacon, not bad but not worth the price Honey Crueller - 5/5 probably the best one we had. I've been getting coffee here multiple times each week for the past two months. The coffee is good. Not as good as you'd find at a true coffee shop but better than Starbucks. The problem is the person running the drive thru. She's nice but doesn't know how to multitask. She takes an order, waits for the car to pull up, takes their payment, delivers the coffee/food and then takes the next order. As a result, the line to order is always long and is routinely backed up on to the street. Can someone please train this young lady? read more

The temperature at this location is uncomfortable. The setting is too cold. If you want to enjoy your coffee and breakfast, you will need to bring a blanket. I have heard other customers complain about this, however the staff just looks at you shrugs their shoulders with no resolution. Not a good customer experience. I went to Tim Hortons right off of 290 at 13451 NW Fwy and ordered a medium brown butter caramel coffee and not 1 person knew what I was talking about. They were advertising this drink at the order menu...smh...when I told them that they were advertising it they were like oh ok. It was horrible. I also ordered a cinnamon and raisin bagel w/cream cheese. It was not toasted and disgusting! I tried calling them this morning after getting to work and no one is answer the phone. They aren't even busy but no one wants to hear the complaints. I WILL NEVER go there again and they are minutes from my job. Absolutely horrible experience at this location. I had read that this was the Canadian version of Starbucks, but I think Starbucks have better drinks and food items. For me, the interior was clean and neat, but looked 'basic,' like a new, franchise donut shop. The coffee and donut selections were likewise okay, but not outstanding. Prices were good, so I give it four stars for being a quick stop for morning coffee and a donut. read more

Coffee itself was delicious but they were out of everything, asked for expresso cold foam and they did not offer it or mentioned they don't make that. Gave me an extra expresso and regular cold foam. Also said no to vanilla flavored cold foam. Donut was DELICIOUS but flies flying around made my stomach turn. Employee at the register was nice and food was given fast. Every morning on my way to work I stop at this location to buy a sausage croissant and a donut. Everything was going well until the last 2 times when my order was not correct . last week I let it go trying to understand that is probably because they are busy but it keeps happening and now I am not even getting a receipt this seems to be happening more often. Been hearing about this spot for several weeks now from up north and decided to give it a shot. Service was extremely fast and friendly and the restaurant was exceptionally clean. Everything really looked inviting. Settled on the vanilla cream donut and timbits. Now I'm serious about my donuts and only three in all of Houston has my attention so far with Tim Hortons now becoming the third. So let me tell you when I took a bite out of the vanilla cream my taste buds melted. You would think a donut is a donut but no, you really have to know what you're doing in that kitchen. The timbits were extremely good as well with the exception of the glaze. The cake timbits was extremely good. Wasn't a fan but no worries; you have my attention so far and have to return to try some more flavors. The vanilla latte was good as well. Definitely recommend this spot. I received an email for a free coffee on my next drink. I attempt to order and the guy ask me to come to the window. I show him the email he then ask if I had the app. So I proceeded to ask what was the problem because I read very well! Then he states it free on my next visit. He has my phone and is showing the email to several staff I then ask could he give me my phone and get my coffee and I'll pay because it's always an issue when you all send out promos. He then came back to drive thru window and said I didn't have to be rude and slammed the drive thru window. This is the second time I've come through the drive thru and the person has been rude. Your coffee or donuts are not that great so what you need to do it get your customer service on point. I stop because it's convenient but nevertheless you will never get any more of my money and every time I think about the situation I'm going to write a bad review. In this season if the service is horrible I will not patronize your business we keep you in business us as customers and some of you business owners need to be mindful of that and ensure that your customer service and the skill set of staff should be top priority that is how you keep people coming back. read more

A bit disappointed w the way Deily dealt with my order. She proceeded to tell me how the "correct" way of making the coffee was after I had told her that I was unsatisfied with the coffee I had ordered. She seemed more concerned about educating me about how their coffee is made rather than addressing my dissatisfaction. I have been getting the same chocolate ice cap and told her how I've been receiving it only to be told that the correct way was how I was delivered today. Not happy, not satisfied w the customer service or the taste of the coffee. I will most likely not return to this location. I placed a mobile order on April 10. They did not have all of the items I ordered. I requested a refund when at the store and they informed me I would have to request it through the app/guest services. I did that on the same day and they said they would send a message to the store to give me a refund. I have not heard anything from the store. I have contacted guest services every week since then and all they tell me is they will send another message to the store. I called the store today and was told to contact guest services for a refund. The manager was reportedly not in. I left my phone number but after over a month of no call, I'm not optimistic. read more

Went in for first time. 3 ladies were working, but weren't paying much attention to people standing in line at the front register. I ended up ordering a sausage croissant. As I stood there waiting, they put some items on the side counter, but never called an order number or anything so I didn't even know it was mine. When I looked in the bag they gave me a beef croissant. When I questioned it, they said that this location does not have sausage. I suggested that maybe they should tell people this when they say they want a sausage croissant or put up a sign or something on the menu board to notify customers. When I opened my latte, it was 1/2 foam filled like cappuccino. I went to get some napkins, and the napkin holder was empty. After about a 25 minute ordeal, I am completely unimpressed and don't plan to come back - ever. Went to do the survey mentioned on the screen when I paid, but the paper receipt they gave me did not have the necessary code needed to complete the survey. Don't waste your time! A mess! read more
