Honestly I'm over it. I order the same coffee every single time I have visited a SB and yet every single time I visit the coffee tastes different. It's never strong, always weak and tastes more milky than anything. It's insane paying $6-8 for a coffee and for it to be nasty. Every location I go to I have this problem. Service is always great, always greeted by a barista, they're always friendly and helpful. But the quality of Starbucks coffee in my opinion is trash. The breakfast options and the cake pops are good I would still order those items but as far as coffee, I'm done. I'm tired of wasting $ and being disappointed. The service industry is never easy. it's an emotional stress. I think I may have caught Nay specific in a bad day. An unfortunate moment of attitude from Nay, but I'm sure she's friendlier than what she showed me today. I hope that she tries to gain a little more patience and I'd like her to know that people can hear her, even when she thinks shes whispering under her breath. You got this Nay, shake it off. Came here recently to get out of the house during the pandemic, and it seems like lots of other people had the same idea! This place was packed at 10am, drive thru line reached to the freeway feeder s d then some. Overall, line moved fairly quickly all things considered. I was impressed with how the employees kept the whole thing sanitary, letting you insert your own credit card in a remote machine and handing you your order on a tray. Of course, the window attendant wore gloves and a mask. Only drawback here is the strange parking lot and drive thru line orientation; it's off at a weird angle that basically makes it have a longline that blocks the parking lot exit if more than 2 people are in line. read more

I really like how this place has changed. Finally a drive through is available for those days you have the dog in the car or can't get out of the car for some other reason: like, laziness. Jk...jk... Anyway! It's a rectangular format inside now, bathroom at back, order closer to back wall and pick up close to the exit once your order is ready. It can be kinda busy now that they've update (good thing!), and parking is interesting, but I've never had a problem finding a place to sit or park. GO HERE, so they can stay! read more

Normally my only issue with this location is the accessibility of it (the front of the building is one way traffic- so difficult to maneuver when the drive through line is long), but I went today to pick up a Caramel Brûlée and received a cup that was half full- and this included whip cream. Closest location to me so I stop by often . The drive through is quick and friendly. If you go inside it's another story. Also, the managers should know better than putting the guy with the dirtiest nails at the window to hand you food. Could be a little cleaner as I waited for my Zombie Frappe, I noticed the high table tops in front of the registers had crumbs etc. but well at least they were really fast and friendly, I went around 2pm Friday during lunch break and no one was in, minus one guy on a laptop and another woman waiting for an order. This shop pulled through when the Starbucks on corner of W. 34th & 290 fwy failed to call or notify on starbucks app before placing my Zombie Frappe order that they RAN OUT. So.. when I got to that one, they told me all late which was a bummer, but luckily this one had it. I have to say that the Zombie Frappe at first sip tasted terrible, it tasted like rancid/sour chocolate milk, but when you mix it (like really good) it doesn't taste so bad, or maybe I got used to the taste. It was sour (sour apple) and chocolatey, had a banana flavor, so kind of like a sour banana split(?) the fact that it was really cold made it more tolerable and the whip cream alone tasted okay, but maybe overly sweet for me. WELL AGAIN mixed really good it wasn't TOO BAD, but still tasted pretty bad compared to other drinks on the menu, even the Unicorn Frappe was a lot better, I actually liked the Unicorn Frappe quite a bit!! I regret not getting a larger size for that one, but usually for these kinds of drinks I always get the smallest in case I can't stomach down the rest of it. I also have tried their iced tea fusion blends that my sister introduced me to... the shaked iced passion tango(passion fruit) lemonade is amazingly delicious and refreshing on a hot day. First time I had this drink was with one of their Chicken & Double-Smoked Bacon sandwiches which was nice and toasty, the bacon wasn't all soggy, everything was crisp and fresh. Personally I could chew on the bread all day.. XD My experience with Starbucks, I have liked the times I've visited and it was very quiet, on one occasion I was able to stay there for about two hours playing Final Fantasy on my Surface Pro, it was very fun, and more than likely will go again for their passion lemonade and to freeload off the wifi. ^w^ read more

Friendly neighborhood Starbucks! I wasn't sure this place was going to be the same after the 290 construction moved it down the strip center and took over half the parking lot. It's actually better, I go out of my way to get to this Starbucks as opposed to the one on 34th and 290. Drink orders are always made correctly and staff is super friendly. It's not one of those packed loud Starbucks. I've found that this is a nice place to relax in the middle of the day or just find some quiet time. read more

I asked nicely if I could get a new drink & they told me to keep the one I had, I decided to throw it away because it was nasty, employees started nodding their heads & saying stuff about it right in-front of me. Since this Starbuck's location moved 2 doors down to the east corner of the strip center, it has fewer tables than the original location had, but they now have a drive thru. Thanks to the 290 expansion, they have fewer parking spaces directly in front of the storefront, but they still have plenty of parking. Comparing to other locations, the staff here know their stuff and are pretty friendly. read more

We stopped at this Starbucks after going through the insane traffic in Houston. I've been here several times and have never had any issues. Service is fast and friendly, and there's never too many people sitting in here- most folks get their drinks and leave. The parking situation right now isn't fun. Because of all the 290 construction, 1/2 their parking spaces have been removed and turned into a feeder road. Be careful when entering or exiting, as the driveway is only big enough for 1 car at a time yet is a two-way 'street'. Park by the petco and walk over for an easier in-and-out experience. read more

I always go through the drive thru and order the same thing, a coffee and GF breakfast sandwich for myself and a cup of water and morning bun for my daughter. Yesterday before I work I stopped by and the girl working the drive thru (I need to get her name) asked if I wanted a morning bun for my daughter. I didn't have my baby with me but appreciated the fact that she remembered! It's the little things. This is also probably the fastest drive thru I've ever been in! First off trying to get here may take a little while being that it's off of 290 with construction! It's a one lane only right next to petsmart so you have to take turns! There are couple chairs outside, but when you walk in it is very spaced out and nice! Very clean! There was only one barista working and she cracked a joke, very nice but I wasn't convinced that she was happy behind the counter! No line which was nice. She had my drink done QUICK. The place is huge and it's extremely quiet! It seems like a real nice spot if your trying to get away! This was my first time coming to the Starbucks, trying to kill time before cross fit. I ordered a pumpkin frappuccino and it was great!!!! I would definitely recommend it, but not if you are a loud person. It would have been nice if there was a radio!! read more

Worse location. I have never had any issues with any Starbucks until I came here. Sunday 12/8/19 around 8pm i went through drive thur placed my order waited in line. When its my turn to pay I hand the girl at the window my credit card. My total was 15.00. She then asked if I had another credit card. I asked why and she said because they have been having issues with Chase all day. I advised her the two other credit cards I had were also Chase cards. She just looked at me like well there's nothing I can do. I attempted to search for cash, was able to come up with 10.00 and found a gift card that had a balance of 2.60. Because I was still short she a cople of dollars she still is not willing to assist me. I ask her what do I do ho to another Starbucks and she agrees that there is a Starbucks on 34th street. So instead of taking the $12.60 I had to give me my stuff she preferred to throw away everything that was already made and send me to the next closest Starbucks. I was furious. I told her next time before taking an order and having everything made knowing they are having issues with their credit card it would be nice to let the customers know ahead of time.
