This Timmy's is across from the Swiss Chalet - Harvey's combo store. I remember lining up at the drive-thru for a couple of burgers and seeing a longer lineup at Timmy's. I knew that I needed to drop by someday when it wasn't crazy busy. This Timmy's is in a tiny plaza with a haircutting place. I had placed an order through the mobile app and lined up at the drive-thru. In front of me was an SUV from California. The folks in this vehicle took longer to order. I wasn't in any rush. When it was my turn, I said my order number and name. My medium iced coffee almond was ready. I was happy and thanked the cheerful woman. I already had a happier perception of staff here. The one in Scarborough did not have this drink, despite my ordering it through the app, which got accepted. I dealt with a woman who sounded and looked miserable. It was the opposite outlook here. Not only was my drink available at this Timmy's, but the female staff member was so nice and polite. She handed me my drink, said to take care, and wished me a nice evening. The staff at my local store need skills from this woman! I absolutely enjoyed my drink. It was perfect. Not overly sweet. Not a strong coffee taste for a tea drinker like me. The caramel latte had a strong espresso taste which I liked a lot. Our third drink was the sea salt hot chocolate which was a tad sweet. We actually wound up mixing the latte and the hot chocolate together to make an impromptu mocha which was actually really nice. If you really enjoyed your coffee, you can take it home with you to have at any time if you also have a Keurig machine. There's a huge selection of K-Cups that you can mix and match. They have a deal that's 24 cups for $15.99. There were also some jars of their signature hot chocolate that would make a great gift.
