I always stop by around lunch time (usually between 12 noon and 1 pm) when it's not too crowded and there's rarely a lineup to order, therefore service is prompt. I recommend this location largely due to its convenience; it's located steps from Union Station/public transit and other major amenities, i.e. the Royal York Hotel. It also always appears well maintained/clean when I visit.

I'd have to say the roasted hazelnut flavor was there and it was the better of the two. We should have ordered a larger size! As for the boston cream donut, it beats Dunkin Donut's version because this one was fluffier and had a substantial amount of custard. The chocolate was also not overbearingly sweet either! They got the "exclude cheese" part right, but added the sauce on the rice & veggies anyway. The rice itself was flavourful and contained little bits of corn and black beans. I liked the crispy fried onion that they put on the rice. The "veggies" were just shredded lettuce and little bits of tomato (as expected). Not sure what the cilantro lime sauce was made of, but it just looked like a creamy white salad dressing. Portion size was small. It's ok as a snack or if you want a very small meal. The verdict? It's what you'd expect from a coffee shop chain -- very basic but passable taste-wise.

However, my partner finished ordering, got a coffee, they charged him twice and made him two, when he only ordered one. I told them I would also be ordering and the woman that checked out his order left the cash register and was just messing around with the other people working behind the counter. I don't have an issue with people taking a break while they're working, but she saw me and heard me tell her I was going to order, and deliberately took her time to get back. Additionally, I was told I couldn't scan my rewards QR because I'm from the US. Tons of varieties - all freshly baked from frozen blocks delivered weekly. They sell lots of other foods that used to be frozen and also Marble Slab Creamery ice cream which is intentionally frozen. The coffee pots all have numbers written on them, most likely inspirational verses from the bible. Since people seem to really like it, the owners should consider possibly franchising. Who knows? There were plenty of parking spots at around 7 pm on a Wednesday evening. I backed into a spot and walked in. I loved the hockey stick design of the door handles. I feel like I need something similar for my home! I waited in line. There were two men in front of me. I couldn't tell which way the line was supposed to go. The man on the left got his order on the left. The man on the right ordered to the right. I got the nicest, enthusiastic woman behind the counter. She was wearing a smile cookie t-shirt, which looked great on her. I wanted a smile cookie. My first one during this campaign only had one eye. I wanted to see what a regular cookie would look like or if all smile cookies needed an eye patch. I scanned my QR code associated with my Timmy's points account. I then paid with a credit card. Done! Proceeds from smile cookie sales go to Markham-Stouffville Hospital. I appreciated it, as both my mom and I have received excellent care here. I got my cookie in a paper bag. I thanked this woman and wished her a great evening. She reciprocated. This store gets full marks for customer service. I dislike visiting my local one because customer service sucks.
