I have gone to this Tim Hortons numerous times since it opened around six years ago, including over the last 2 1/2 years during Covid. Mostly my visits are for quick sandwiches or comfort food since they are so close to my place. I'm not sure why others have written negatively about the staff here, since I actually began this review to mention how good I think they are. Particularly through Covid when masks were required and patrons could only do takeout I found the staff great in their delivery both in terms of attention and with how quickly they worked. The products are the same as any Tim Hortons but I find that the clean place and quick service makes it seem a little better than some of the other dingy versions that I've been to. read more

The only things that I got to try all three times that I went to Tim Horton's during my short vacation were the TimBits! (donut holes) Although they are suuuuper sweet, they're great little poppers to go with coffee-- although, I recommend getting your TimBit's here and coffee elsewhere! Service was good and quick, so I'd give them 4 stars for that. I ordered the 20 timbit and an ice coffee. They don't have alternative milk options. So for food alone, 3 stars. The best timbit was the original glazed, it was still soft. The chocolate was okay, had a chocolate taste to it, honey was nothing to write home about, and the raspberry wasn't bad mainly because I liked the thought of it. However, most of the bits were a little harder/chewy. I had 4 timbits and that equates to 230 calories roughly, which is almost like 1 regular glazed donut. I've always wanted to go to Tim Hortons, I think it's because as a kid we would always take family trips to Canada but I never got to try any of their "fast food" because my parents would always take us to Richmond and let us engorge ourselves in the Asian food (I'm such a brat). So, I figured since my hotel was so close, I really had no choice but to make the trip there. Would I go back? Maybe. Would I try a regular sized donut? Maybe. I liked their food selections, but their espresso choices aren't all that great, alongside the service being somewhat crappy. Their meal menu is very deceiving, whenever you order something off the menu, which you thought is a meal, they really meant each item is sold separately... literally! Yes, that includes the breakfast patty, the additional egg and cheese that you want to add into your sandwich. For someone not from the area can get confused and be fooled after walking out the store. Another sad thing, for someone who is either lactose intolerant or prefer non-dairy drink, this place isn't really for them. They only serve full dairy product. Horton should really consider on providing such options in their dairy liquid. Luckily for me, there is Starbucks across the street from them! Coming into Tim's, I was expecting to enjoy the experience, but alas it was not to be. When I approached to make my order, the cashier ignored me for a solid minute, leaving me in limbo. After finally catching his attention, the guy punched in my order, while rolling his eyes. Hmmm, maybe he had a bad morning... After ordering and paying, he set my change on the counter, as close to his end as possible, so I had to reach across to pick it up. Hoping to be over with this transaction as soon as possible, I took a seat for 10 minutes before realizing they did not call my order. Just left it at the counter and walked away. There was someone in line and three other people sitting down. Asking for sleeves for the hot drinks was like looking Medusa in the eyes and hoping to not get turned to stone. Yeesh! I usually only write positive reviews, but there is a first for everything. The workers represent the brand and are the face of the company. Sorry to have been excited to walk into your store. Before heading to the Capilano Suspension Bridge, my friends and I stopped here for a quick bite. I ordered a sausage, egg and cheese (everything) bagel sandwich with hash browns and a small coffee. I was a little skeptical about how it would taste since it looked pretty dry. Surprisingly, it was better than I expected. The hash browns on the other hand tasted really frozen and microwaved. My Mother-in-Law always brought a can with her when she visited us in Arizona; my wife, also from Vancouver, swears by it. I liked it too. So stopping at the resturants was inevitable. We would always go in, order take-out and go because...traveling Canada. Fast food and yes, the coffee. Love the coffee...and the food. Wish it was in the States; definitely gives Starbucks a run for their money. The food's nothing to laugh at, either. Giving a one star review because there's a reoccurring problem here that causes a lot of confusion -- I've seen it almost every time here. There's a rope setup to guide where the lineup starts, but it's not obvious enough where the line actually starts. People are constantly blocking the way or there's confusion about who's at what spot in the line -- sometimes there's multiple lines. Yesterday I was here and a lady called my rude because I but in front of her in line. She was standing at the wrong end of the rope, which stops where one of the tills is, so I thought she was already being helped at that till. Since the lineup was already confused at this point and I was the next in line, I thought I was doing everyone a favour for standing where the start of the line is supposed to begin. I guess I was wrong since this woman started haranguing me. I don't appreciate going out, just to buy a coffee and having people harass me for stupid shit. This location should constantly have a sign up signifying where the line is supposed to begin, to avoid any confusion. read more

Current battle is for an order - they use DoorDash - that an hour after it landed was cancelled by the store. That itself is I guess a 1 star. I guess Tim Horton's is exclusive in Canada so I wanted to try it while we were here. This particular location was close to our hotel so we just came here. It wasn't terribly hard to find but it did kinda blend in with the neighbor stores. We come in here and it's not the biggest cafe in the world but there are enough seating areas I suppose. It was very clean in there though, I'll give them that. Customer service was regular, she was nice but when I said "I'll get a frap" she quickly corrected me and said "you mean a cap"... when it comes to cold coffee, is there really a difference in taste? Lol anyway, she was nice about it. We ordered a small mocha frap, err, I mean cap and a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. The sandwich was ok for me, hubby loved it! Which is why he finished it lol. Tim Hortons are popping up all over the place! YES! I'm loving their Dark Roast coffee. It's smooth and not bitter at all. Full of flavour. I love that they bring out special treats for different occasions. During Christmas my favourite is the cake doughnut with Candycane sprinkles. My all time favourite with Tim's is the Boston Creme! The store is clean and tidy. It's a medium size store in comparison to other stores, but still comfortable and not squishy. Right across the street from this Tim's is StarBucks!! I'm a huge fan of both franchises. Each store has something I really like, so it's a toss up as to which I'll go to in the morning! Very unfriendly customer service, I visited here in the morning and I ordered a egg muffin and hot coffee. A employee was kinda moody and when i couldnt hear what she said since she wasnt pronouncing clearly so I said "im sorry?" and she went "WHAT DRINK!?????" Her attitude was very rude and unprofessional. Another employee was making my muffin and she firstly put a patty in the muffin and she was like "oh was it bacon?" I wish we had a Tim Hortons back home! It's way better and cheaper than starbucks. On our trip to Canada, we stopped here for coffee and pastries. I decided to get the special that they were advertising on the front window door. It was the caramel french vanilla hot latte. It was sooooo goooood! I also tried the lemon poppy seed muffin that was also delish as well. It's such a nice coffee shop with variety of pastries and coffee drinks. We sat in those comfy couch chairs in front of the little fire place. Perfect way to start the day discovering what else Canada offers! read more

Our newest addition to the neighbourhood, and I'm so happy they decided to move in! It's still nice and new, albeit a little small. No matter for those of us who live close enough! I've been taking out their lunch specials - soup, bagel/muffin and coffee combo for $5 plus tax! The staff are very friendly, so please stay that way for as long as you can! Fresh faces can lose enthusiasm quite quickly. I pray they don't at this branch! I've been served by some of the nicest people here! And yes, the reason why clients bring their own mugs is not because they want to keep their coffee hot when it's 30 degrees Celsius outside. 2) Learn what BELT stands for!!! Bacon, Egg, Letuce, Tomato!!! The question "do you want Belt with bacon?" doesn't make sense. 3) teach your stuff to learn the menu items. When I'm ordering a bagel BELT combo, there's no need to call me by listing all the ingredients, "Plain bagel with bacon and hashbrown!!!!" What will be next? "Ground coffee beans with hot water in a cup"?.. 4) plastic lids are NOT GARBAGE. Teach your stuff how to recycle. BUT overall, the place is very nice.
