This is my first time at this office, two hrs later and no injections! I haven't started any treatment yet, although I thought I would be getting a TPI. During my appointment, I was informed that they would have to request the notes from my cervical medial branch block doctor and my previous pain management doctor. This was a little disappointing given that I waited two weeks for this appointment and had previously provided my MRIS. There was no previous mention about my prior doctor's notes. I was also informed that they need to check for pre-approval for my tpi. Again, I explained to this doctor that my insurance doesn't require pre-approval. I called my insurance as soon as I left this office and they informed me that they will contact pain specialists of Nevada in the morning since they were already closed to inform them of their procedure. Dr Nguyen discussed other options with me like an epidural. We also discussed their MLS laser while I was there. I did explain to Dr helmi that I had some red laser treatment at a prior chiropractic office. He claimed that laser was a superficial laser that only went skin deep. Their laser supposedly goes deeper. Two days later, I called in and spoke to I Sandy. She agreed there should be no issue since my insurance doesn't require pre-approval I asked to speak to her manager. 12 minutes later and I get transferred to Soroya

I was actually able to get a same day appointment on a Friday, which felt pretty amazing when you are in pain and trying to get things taken care of quickly. Anyone who has been dealing with several doctor visits knows how valuable that is. They do have a fairly large packet of paperwork to fill out, but they can send it to you ahead of time if you want to complete it using a PDF editor. I would definitely recommend filling it out before you arrive or giving yourself about 15 to 20 minutes before your appointment so you are not rushed. Nice modern furniture in the waiting room and patient rooms. They called me back pretty quickly once I checked in. I saw Dr. Tanner and he explained everything clearly and took the time to walk through what was going on and what the next steps would be. It was a really smooth experience and I would absolutely be happy to be referred here again.

Their solution, give me some pill that's used to aid in opioid withdrawals. I dont use opioids. They test me every time and every time, I'm clean. I expressed my concerns with the meds and informed them I'm not some addict and it did nothing for me. Solutions 2. Give me hydrocodone, a muscle relaxer and something else. Again, it does nothing. I call to get them changed. They tell me I have to surrender my current meds to get something different. So I bring them in and they didn't take them and said they can't do anything because they weren't the original doctor. Solution 3. Give me 3 "new" meds that are literally the same as the other 3. Then they say "after we test these procedures (nerve block) we can see about changing your meds. Do the treatments and nothing worked. Solutions 4, give me the same meds again. This time doc says stop the 5mg (3x a day) and I'll issue you 7.5 (2x a day). So I'm literally taking the same. Well I get my new meds in the mail and behold, it's 5mg. I call the pharmacy and they said they don't carry 7.5 so they sent me 5 mg instead. No one told me they didn't have the meds. Not the pharmacy or the Dr. so I call them up again today to request a change. They answered and said we can talk during my next appointment. So again in pain with no solution. I am sick of this place treating me like some junkie off the street. They don't listen, I tell them my medical history, again, they call me a pill junkie and don't do a damn thing. I have called multiple times and never get an answer. Dr. Carlos its trash. Months I've given him to work with me and I've done everything I'm supposed to. He's just there to collect a check. And couldn't give two craps less if you're in pain. Go at your own risk but do not ask for Carlos.
