I went to the dealer this week and they gave me photo of cap leaking oil and said I had to do it again. Valvoline said they DO NOT CHECK if the cap is leaking so they would not refund me. What a mystery - they tried to do rear differential because that's revenue to them but they don't care if I leave the garage leaking oil?! Also the dealer verbally told me that I needed coolant and Valvoline said tough luck to that because the dealer didn't put it in the notes.

They failed to diagnose a basic problem. Damaged the car and commit fraud when they did not tell me and tried to cover up their screw up. Now they will not refund my money and pay for new parts. So, what Goodyear committed fraud and now they want me to accept discount repair. Even after they acknowledge the fraud (failure to notify the damage they tried covering up).

And the damaged our transfer case and they refused to replace it with a new part after not telling us they damaged it (fraud). Corporate Goodyear offers 25 cents to the dollar refund after this local store committed fraud refused to have pay full price to fix it right they want us to use used parts to save them money after they admitted what they did was wrong. They were the cheapest option we found at $850. While the vehicle was there, they told us a sway bar link was broken and charged an additional $250 to fix it. About a month later, the car started making a loud, obnoxious banging noise. It briefly went away, then came back again a couple of weeks later. We brought it back to Mavis because it seemed related to the repair they had done. They told us the part they installed had failed, but that it was covered under warranty. We picked the car up the following Friday, and the noise was still there. They then said their "mechanic" needed to look at it, but he wouldn't be in until Wednesday. After dropping it off again, they called and claimed the issue was a bad strut mount and quoted us another $1,250. Instead of moving forward with that, I took the vehicle to Weaver's in Owego for a second opinion. Within minutes, they found the real issue -- the sway bar was loose. The same part Mavis supposedly fixed. I brought the receipt from Weaver's back to Mavis and asked to be reimbursed for their improper repair. When I followed up days later, I was told they were "too busy" to look into it. After making it known in their waiting room what had happened, they suddenly refunded me $111 -- but then told me to "get the F out" and not come back. They failed to properly complete their own repair, misdiagnosed the issue, tried to upsell an unnecessary $1,250 fix, and handled the situation in an extremely unprofessional manner. I will never use Mavis again and strongly recommend others think twice before trusting them with their vehicle.

Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience that ended with my oil pan being punctured and needing to tow to a Firestone. $100 oil change was not charged, but now I had a quote for $1600 to repair the thing- tariffs and part shortages made finding a cheaper option in my area impossible. The manager of this location offered me a 25% discount for the next oil change, even mentioning that he didn't even need to do that and he was just being nice. He also claimed a rock would've broken the rust because it was so bad. The area manager and him "reviewed the footage" and came to the same conclusion. The Firestone mechanic, however, found that the hole was about the size of a finger. And was NOT caused by rust. Frankly, I'll take the word of a mechanic that looked at the part in question rather than managers "viewing footage." Currently waiting on a reimbursement for the damages, but as of now they denied my claim. So I'm just going to review them on every platform so people know.

I had an O2 Sensor that was causing fuel mileage issues. It took more adjusting to bring my old ford ranger within specifications. He did an Awesome job and did not charge me extra for the time...
