I called this company weeks ago. Asking for a quote for my friend I was visiting to help her out after her husband passed away. The owner came out right away and gave us a price which was the going rate. I informed him it was just cut by another person and when asked to trim around a vehicle in the back area of the house he was rude and acted like I asked him to cut another acre. This is why I was looking for a replacement. The owner of Timberjack Steve was the person I had contact with. I had called Steve after he came out, a couple questions and he wanted to come back out again. This was not convenient for us to repeat. It's just mowing grass. So he never came out again or called the owner to reschedule. The home owner called him and after telling her to text him. He never got back to her. When I texted him he tried to tell me the whole we have to come look at it. I told him we already did that. He text me back and told me it wasn't him!! ‍ YES it was!! This guy is real nice but it just doesn't seem like they can get it together enough to take new customers. I finally responded maybe we should look somewhere else because it seems like you don't want the work he basically told me that would be best because he has to many tree jobs. Steve Hagan had someone come evaluate our trees yesterday and give us a quote. They showed up today ready to go to work. They had the big equipment, worked safely and as a team. They took down a huge old tree that was diseased and could fall any time on our house, plus they cleaned a lot of branches on other trees. We were able to give firewood to one neighbor and wood chips to anyone who wanted. They cleaned everything up before they left. To continue, after a couple hours I was so frustrated with the slow and bad work, I called Steve and said that's enough, let me pay for the 2 1/2 hours they were here, charged almost $700. Then they got their truck stuck in my yard. Kid driving rock it back and forth til he snapped the axel in two. This all started back in January 2020! It took him 2 months to get the truck out. there were hugh ruts throughout my yard. Steve contiually assured me they would dump dirt and fix his mess. I have been extremely patient, even while bouncing through all the ruts when mowing. My last text on April 7th pleading with him to fix has gone unanswered. Steve does not keep his word. read more

I hired this company to cut down a large tree and cut it up into firewood. They took nearly three months to complete the "two day job" they quoted me and only cut up a third of the tree. They left the remainder in massive pieces, some weighing over a ton, that no one can move or cut up! They were paid in full but abandoned the project after receiving their pay.
