Plan on putting aside your time dealing with fixing the horrendous workmanship or just cough up the money to replace the cabinets right away. This company has horrible communication, poor workmanship, and has been nothing but horrendous to work with. I would give negative stars if I could. I hope to spare you the frustration! Purchased a new build home that used Timberlake Cabinet Company and have had a horrible experience from the start. All of the cabinets throughout the home had a specific style of knob, except for one bathroom that had a complete different type of handle. This was called out at the beginning and nothing was ever done. The company no-call no-showed twice on us. I have called and left numerous voicemails with no return calls. We have now done our one year inspection and the company has had to come out at least 5 times to complete tasks, but never has finished anything without a hiccup, issue, or need to reschedule. I have now kicked an employee, Cesar, out of my house and explained that he is no longer welcome in my home for repairs due to his unprofessional manner and complete arrogance. Ironically, I was talking to a neighbor recently and he explained that he also did the same thing, and stated Cesar is not allowed in his home. I have let the builder's liaison know that he is not welcome, and have requested the manager to call me 4+ times. They have flat out ignored the request. I again have called and left messages with no response or return calls. One of the other employees from Timberlake came out for a repair and had nothing positive to say about Cesar. read more

They have made more than 5 warranty visits to our home and each and every time they break their own product during the replacement or show up missing many of the correct parts. Massive waste of time for us. They also refused to reinstall the cabinet pulls because we didn't have them originally install them. Poor customer service buyer beware. read more

I have been trying to get a few punch list items corrected on some of their cabinets since early April. They have sent someone out to my home at least three times, but have never called ahead to schedule a day or time. They just stop by at random times, and when they don't find anyone home, they just leave a door hanger saying they've been there, and to call to schedule an appointment. I always call back, get their answering machine, and leave my information so that they can call me to schedule a time and day. They NEVER have returned any of my calls. read more

Purchased their cabinets in 2018 when we built our new house with Mattamy. Install was well done, no gaps, chips, or scratches. They've held up very well, with only one small issue (my fault) when I snagged the pull out stash in front of the sink. I fixed it myself. They also did the bathroom vanities and cabinets in the laundry room. I'd use them again. read more

Bought a Lennar home in Tucson that partners with Timberlake Cabinetry in Phoenix. The cabinet install went right up to the actual day of receiving the keys which essentially forced us to overlook defects in installation until we had to get warranty involved. Since then, over a year later, still waiting for defects to be corrected. One in particular was a lazy job done on the top moulding conjoining two pieces. Lennar coordinated a repair appointment weeks in advance and the day of, they literally walked up and put a "sorry we missed you sticker" on the front door (verified through ring video doorbell) and left. No knock nor doorbell ring. When I called to question that, there was no explanation and said they can "put me back on the calendar a month later." Such lazy and deceptive business. read more

Poor installation. Have had to have them come out repeatedly for workmanship issues which should have been done right the first time. The cabinets they installed they did not even anchor to a stud and a 1/4 inch gap produced between the cabinets and the drywall. read more

Wish there was a ZERO star option. The problem started at 6 months in to this new house. I went directly to Timberlake (the cabinet maker) after about 6 months of Richmond jerking me around. It's now 3 1/2 yrs in to this problem and the best they will offer is new cabinet doors... THAT DON'T MATCH. I've been told that because of so much time going by, my cabinets have faded... well NO SHIT ! This should have been addressed 3 years ago! I can only guess that TIMBERLAKE doesn't sell to the public, only to these shitty builders. If they did, I would think they would care more about their reputation and providing a quality product, and customer satisfaction. So, all I can do is look for every media outlet I can to spread the work about the shitty product and customer service I have received from both RICHMOND and TIMBERLAKE. I bought a new home only a year ago. The builder uses timberlake cabinetry of Phoenix, AZ. To my dismay the cabinets are not the quality I was shown at the builders showroom. Timberlake takes shortcuts to save money. Those shortcuts consits of improperly applying the stain and finish. Installing doors and draws half-ass to where not just a screw adjustment can fix them. Door panels are loose as well. The crown modeling wasn't joined correctly nor secured to the top of the cabinetry. I was complaining to the builder for about a year before Timberlake actually sent someone out from the manufacturer who verified the defects and offered to replace only ten doors out of fourty-one. I'm still waiting for this happen. Last week they setup an appointment and didn't show up. They have one more chance tomorrow to get it right before I pursue an alternative course of action. Just got my new cabinets from Timberlake this morning and I burst into tears! Glaze job is horrible and missing completely in some areas. "There are Knotholes in the doors". Many varying colors of wood used on the doors. The cabinets look "dirty" because of mismatched woodgrain. Sloppy cheap made cabinets by someone who does not pay attention to detail. TIMBERLAKE CABINETS ARE THE WORST CABINETS I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!!!! Not to mention the customer service have been awful. Our cabinet finish started to chip away after barely 2 years of living in a brand new home. We contacted our builder and then finally got Timberlake out to look at the problem. The man that came out was completely arrogant and rude. He said, 'this is wear and tear of the product and some may be related to water damage and is not warranted.' I have posted photos of the multiple cabinets that have chipped and to me this is very clear it is not water damage. What it is is a poor quality product. And if this is 'wear and tear' then he is basically saying that every 2 years I need to spend up close to 15k on new cabinets. Wear and tear means that something is going to wear after a certain amount of time. Cabinets are not something that should do that!! I have lived in homes 20 years old and have seen nothing of his sort. The quality of this product is the worst I have ever seen and the costumer service seems to be just as bad as the product. We were unfortunately stuck with shoddy cabinet doors manufactured by Timberlake when we built our house in 2014. We began seeing cracks and peeling on every single cabinet drawer less than 3 years later and called Timberlake once we nailed down the proper contact. (This took time as we had to start with the builder and work backwards) Initially we were told that this was normal wear and tear and likely not covered, but when the QC guy came out he agreed that this was a flaw in manufacturing and they would replace. Our cabinets are double stacked in our large kitchen, plus we have 3 bathrooms as well with them. We were told the cabinet line had been discontinued and would take 8-10 weeks to be manufactured. Constant follow-up by my husband was required during this time. At week 16 we finally had an install date. The installer showed up and waited around for 2+ hours for the parts, once they arrived they were missing ALL of the drawer fronts and more than 10 doors! They then told us they would not install our door hardware as well. The install took longer than expected and then still wasn't finished. Another 6 weeks went by before the remaining parts were completed, delivered and installed. Fortunately the installer who does not work for Timberlake was amazing and installed the hardware for us, but the Timberlake employees we dealt with were not even remotely worried about customer service or the quality of their products. read more
