When possible I like to support small independent local businesses and made the call for an estimate . Dan the owner spent a lot of time at our in home visit to review the scope , made great suggestions on 2 new pots and pan drawers and assured us we would not know they were refaced but would look like new cabinets . We chose a beautiful Maple wood with new drawers on amazing soft close silent hardware . The work crew was professional , skilled craftsmen that figured out every little corner and angle to perfection . I am amazed at the quality of work . The transformation is stunning . My adult daughter just saw the new kitchen today for the first time and was so impressed she thought it was all new boxes from the ground up ! Then Dan came to our house and spent a significant amount of time with us explaining our options, showing us samples of cabinets, and answering all of our questions. We opted for several additional options on top of our initial estimate, but we never felt pressured to add or upgrade anything. We initially had hoped to do refacing to improve the overall aesthetic of our kitchen, but we were so excited to discover some of the additional options that were offered that solved functional problems that had always bothered us! When we reached out to Better Than New, we didn't even realize how much they could do besides just refacing. We replaced all of our old, hard-to-open drawers with beautiful, easy to open, soft-close drawers. We added a pull-out drawer for trash and recycling bins. We replaced sagging shelves in our cabinets. And we replaced the shelves in our deep pantry with drawers, making the space SO much more usable and accessible for our tall family. So not only is the kitchen beautiful, but it's so much more functional. There were zero hidden fees. The work was absolutely immaculate. The team was incredibly professional. And the work was done as scheduled and on time - the entire project only took 2.5 days!! I didn't receive estimates from other companies, so I don't know how the price would have compared. But we feel that the finished product, the quality of the materials used, and the professionalism and skill of the team were worth what we paid. We haven't encountered any issues with the quality of the cabinets or the rails. Over the years, being a dark tone, the color has worn away in spots. I called to confirm that a touch up kit in Java was available to buy and drove to the Phoenix/Tempe location. I saw the new signage and was informed that this business has been renamed "New Cabinet Company." They will carry J&K products as well as New Cabinet items. Customer service was frank and blunt. I paid my $20 and left for the door.

On my sixth or seventh visit, I was approached upon entering the store by a very friendly person named Kat. Kat is a store Manager who immediately started assisting me with my needs! She promptly checked me in so I could get my pick up order started and even helped me get a return done. Kat also refreshed me on how to properly utilize my pro rewards account so that I can reap the rewards down the road as my points stack up. In a time where customer service in general seems to be decreasing in quality-It's so refreshing to meet people like Kat, who care about their job, have a good attitude, and make you feel like you matter, even when you're there for menial tasks such as a return and a small pick up order of 4 boxes of tile. Do not purchase floor and decor's LVP. I wish I had seen all…read moreof their comments from clients after two years of installation before I went with this particular product. There's cracking issues and locking mechanism issues that I've now seen other reviews about that, I had no idea about until now. After filing a warranty claim about this particular product that's at floor and decor "NuCore Performance BUTTER TOAST WATERPROOF RIGID CORE LUXURY VINYL PLANK" which markets their product with a "lifetime" warranty for residential is actually not a lifetime warranty and they're denying my claim and offering me a measly gift card for one of the planks that was determined to be defective but once they found out several other planks are starting to have issues. They're not willing to cover any of the others related to any of the other planks that are experiencing locking mechanism issues. If you ever have any warranty issues with floor and decor, please make sure that you hire a third-party and have any extra material or planks you have sent to an independent lab for testing because they actually limit what their "third-party" tester can test for and refuse to do independent plank testing.

He was responsive to my texts. Our installers Christian and Reid were very organized, respectful and worked very well together as a team. On day one they finished the demolition and prepared for the installation on the 2nd day. They came on time and finished the job and cleaned after themselves.
