The place still looks like a dump and definitely needs love, but I guess if their property does not get a lot of guests, then it does not get a lot of guests. They been in remodel for two years now. Their sports book is on the ground floor. The ground floor has really old machines. I did not have luck overall. I ended up losing fast here no matter what game I played around here and could not coin in a lot of points like maybe 300 points. I was charged $50 for alleged "damaged" linen, but the stain shown to me was from red soda -- something that can be removed. The photo they provided did not show permanent damage, yet I was still charged. To make matters worse, the pool was shut off early while I was still in it, and chlorine got into my eyes, causing irritation and discomfort. That situation was handled very poorly and felt unsafe. Our server, Austine, was exceptional--attentive, friendly, and truly helped make the dining experience memorable. While Lady Luck wasn't exactly on our side this trip, we still managed to hit the jackpot when it came to customer service. Anya at the Promotions Desk went above and beyond, providing outstanding service with a smile and making us feel genuinely valued as guests. The casino floor itself is extremely small, but they had the most table games open on a Friday afternoon out of all of the other properties we checked out. I was sad that the area nearby with all the shopping was very sparse, lots of the shops that were there before were closed so we ate nearby at Saltgrass. Not sure when we will be back to Shreveport based on this trip unless they make some changes to the area nearby as well as checkin process.
