My 3-star review is very mixed. It is a combination of 5 stars and 0 stars. 5 stars for the requested trees being gone, great cleanup and pleasant crew. If that was all this would definitely be a full 5-star review. However, even when my husband talked with Doug while getting a quote, he made it clear that there was 1 tree on the property that could not get damaged during the tree removal. We were assured that everything would be okay. They had a truck they would use to take things down from the top. On the scheduled date they promptly arrived. 0 stars: before they started working my husband questioned if any of the trucks on the property would affect the underground utilities. He was told that they had pads they put down. They didn't put down pads and they didn't use the truck they said they were going to use. A tree has 360-degrees around it. They cut one of them down at the exact angle that broke the 1 tree that I had specified was not to be ruined. Branches got broken and my health was broken because I am past upset. Many angles to cut that tree down and in any other direction or any other tree being broken I wouldn't have cared but there was no regard for how totally important it was to me for that 1 and only tree out of many not to get ruined. It is not only an eye sore now to look at it but for how much crying I've done since this happened. read more

I called them to get our driveway plowed and they came as soon as they were able which was within an hour or so. Not only did they do a great job plowing our drive they also got my car unstuck. I called them again a couple of days later as there was another snow dump forecast. They were there early and got the job done . We are very happy with their dependability, quality and professionalism. I am in the medical profession(nurse) and need to get to work.Will hire again for sure!!! read more

These guys are horrible. Will never use them again. Trees were cut down quickly. They have been promising for over 2 years to come grind the stumps out of the ground. They don't show up when they promise and the work is incomplete. Be wary. read more

I will never call this company for tree work. A neighbor on my street in Hillcrest was getting something done at their residence today. This service was reckless to say the least. Heavy logs they were removing were not secured and slid around the truck bed as they drove off to carry away the logs. When the Timbermen truck returned, they drove 50 mph down our residential street where the speed limit is 20, kicking up copious dust and endangering elderly people checking mail, etc. I could see the marked trucks with their Tree Service clearly advertised. I should thank them for letting me know who NEVER to call, unless I want reckless and careless treework by unprofessional people. read more

They were able to come out on short notice and give us a quote, which was very reasonable. We had them remove numerous trees that were leaning toward our house or dead on the tree line. They removed all of the dead and dying trees but preserved the ones that were healthy. They removed over 10 trees in a day. There were some ruts left in the yard from the vehicles/machines, but we expected as much since the ground was soft. read more

They were on time and successfully did cut down the trees. The clean- up was awful. We had read the other reviews, so we made sure they did the stump grinding when they were here, but the yard was left in horrible condition. We have already put 8 hours in clean-up and it isn't done. There are huge impression dents in the ground from where the big branches were just allowed to free-fall. We will have to bring in fill dirt and have someone roll it to get it if we ever want it somewhat smooth again. I have pictures of the mess if anyone is interested. read more

I needed some trees cut down and asked if he could do it AND grind the stumps. He gave an estimate of $1800 for the job. He got the trees that needed cutting down cut down. Then went over and charged me $2500. He said they'd be back the next week to grind the stumps. After 3+ weeks and 4+ phone calls, he never did show up or call back. I had to hire another company to grind the stumps to finish the job. read more
