Because of this experience, and because of friends who used Theissen since, I selected them to replace siding on the house and garage. My husband and I had talked to a number of people about reliable roofers in the area. Time after time the name of Theisen was mentioned as being the best of the best. We had a trying time picking out the color of the shingles we wanted, because of the winter weather. The snow on the roofs frustrated our attempts to see the colors. Finally it thawed and we were able to select what we hoped would be the perfect color. We were on the job list for early summer and I fussed and fretted about whether we had chosen the best color. I contacted Theisen to repair some wind damage to my home that ripped off some of the facia trim. It was a small job and could have been done in 15 min or so. Theisen was great to work with to get a quote, but he never came out to my home to do the repair. I called the office a few times and was told every time that they would be scheduling me the following week and would be calling before hand. Well I never got a call, never got the repair. Sorry Theisen, but responsiveness, and follow through is huge to me regarding the upkeep of my home. I called Responsive Roofing in DeKalb, and a week later my trim is fixed. He even took care of my neighbor who had a similar problem. I now have "my roofing guy", and know which companies in the area only want bigger jobs, and bigger pay outs. read more
