Had the need to get some tires since I was riding on baldies and after finding Larry's online, I popped in to see what I could get for my ride. We arrived at a set of tires that would work for my car and we proceeded to get them all installed: balanced, mounted and I even had them do my alignment as it was off. While the guys in the shop were busy working, I spent a nice half hour chatting with Larry. Clean waiting room and fresh popcorn to munch while killing some time plus great prices, great service and super friendly folks - what more could you possibly ask for? Definitely will be back.

Few days later she left to drive back to Lynchburg and I was a panicked to later see a puddle of oil where her car had been parked. Thankfully the car survived the 3.5 hour drive. I contacted Larry's and explained the situation, they got her in immediately, diagnosed the issue and had it fixed within an hour. They were incredibly nice to my daughter, she was so impressed. He explained in detail what could be the problem, but asked me to bring car in, NO PROBLEM. Next, I asked did I need appointment, and cost, he told me I didn't need appointment, and there would be NO cost for test, and it would be up to me if I wanted to get it fixed. This is where everything took a turn for the worse. I went in, asked for Justin, and told the young man at counter, I had just spoken to Justin, and he told me I could come up for him to do test. The young man advised JUSTIN that I was there, JUSTIN told him he NEVER talked to me about bringing my car in, and didn't tell me there was no charge, and the fee would be $98. Next, JUSTIN came to the front, didn't acknowledge me at all, turned around quickly, and went back to the car he was working on, at this point I'm feeling DISRESPECTED, and JUSTIN LIED about a conversation we had about 40 mins prior to me getting there. How would I know to ask for JUSTIN if I had not talked to him prior, and why would I take the time to drive up there?? If JUSTIN would LIE about a PHONE CALL he had with me, I feel he would LIE about anything when speaking with customers. I would advise anyone that talks to JUSTIN about getting repairs, get it in WRITING first. Again, if JUSTIN lied about something as simple as a conversation about bringing my car there, I would question his work ETHIC, as well as his INTEGRITY!! I went in for a state inspection and tire…read morerotation and wanted a TPMS (tire pressure monitor sensor) replaced. 600 miles away and the TPMS warning comes on the dashboard again. I go to a nearby garage, get it looked at, and find out that Good Year never put the TPMS in the tire but they did charge me for one! Maybe on larger repairs they give a square deal but beware, on the smaller ticket items, they are looking to upcharge in whatever way they can. DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS!
