After a week, when my car was finally repaired, I discovered that (on top of my $2000 repair) I was charged $62 extra because I used a credit card, which was all I had available under the circumstances. After dealing with 9 dealerships in the last few months... it felt relaxing to not be pushed, but rather inspect the vehicles I wanted. But in the end the used trucks were great... just not exactly what I needed. He asked me what I was looking for. Told him I needed either a 4x4 or AWD vehicle to survive through mud and snow. He asked me again though what I would want as features. He asked if it had to be blue? :-) and he showed me a 2020 Kia Sportage. I took it out for a test drive and immediately fell in love with the panoramic moon roof, the Auto Android and Apple OS, the lane avoidance system, the AWD, skid plate, vehicle clearance... the list went on after I test drove it and inspected the SUV. When I returned... all that was left was to hear what pricing the could give me for my Chevy Volt. It was the best trade in value period. No haggeling needed at all. The motorcycle... not so much, but that was a different branch's call... so I kept the motorcycle ;-) But the trade in value for my car was beyond my anticipation. That deal alone got me hooked, but what was even better... he got me exactly the price range I needed on that 2020 Kia Sportage. Including the warranties!!! The only thing I had a very hard time was keeping my hand out of the Halloween Candy Bowl, but making a decision on buying a car never felt more relaxed to me. I have had my Expedition in for service to troubleshoot an airbag code and the vehicle not starting…read moretwice now. The first time involved a recall issue for the seatbelts, so there was no charge for the service. Nothing was found in regards to my other concerns, because I was told they would need to look at them later even though all of my concerns were listed when the appointment was scheduled. Took it back in for the second time today to have the recall work finished and for them to run diagnostics on the code. After charging us for the diagnostic service, which only showed an old code, we were told that is all they could do for us. And, to bring it back in when it happened again...?!? Really, I am to drive around with a possible faulty airbag??? HORRIBLE customer service. This place is only looking for your money, as we were told that they would have to run diagnostics again when it happened and that we would have to pay for the fee again?! How about charge me once until you figure out the issue?! Supposedly, it is safe to drive, assuming it starts. I won't return to this dealership. Instead, I will drive to Keyser and support WV economy.
