I ordered a gin & tonic with a lime and a hotdog. The dog NEVER ARRIVED despite two "Is there a problem of some sort?"inquiries. The response each time was "It will be right out." The gin wasn't remotely similar to any gin I've had previously - even the bargain basement brands. In addition to the unpleasant taste, it was grossly overpriced, as is everything else on the drink list. I was charged for the tonic as well - which is another first. I'm surprised they didn't charge for the ice cubes and add a glass rental & washing fee. To top off the evening, when the bill arrived (10 minutes after I requested it) the waitress had the gall to present me with a tip screen first (I chose the No Tip option) followed by the bill screen. This place adds a 3% fee for credit card payment without disclosing that on the front door and on the menu/drink list, which violates the Michigan Consumer Protection statute as well as credit card issuer rules. Needless to say, I won't be returning - and I won't be recommending the GLD to anyone else either.
