Never have I ever had a bad meal or a bad experience. My only complaint is I wish it was closer to my home!

I've never been so disappointed as I was today. Typically the food and drinks are consistently good, so my husband and I thought it would be a nice place to stop after a funeral. It's 3:45 pm and it's packed. There was a table leaving so we sat there and the waitress said she would be by to clear the table. An older lady came by and very rudely told us we were going to have to get up and go to the table by the restrooms. She said they were moving the table after she saw our confusion. We decide to walk to the table by the restroom and there are already people there. We decided to leave and probably never return after the way we were spoken to. I truly hope that it wasn't because of race that we were treated this way. The lady didn't speak to some other customers the way she addressed us. I'm so disappointed and will not go back and make sure coworkers, family and friends know how we were treated. There is a way to handle people and this was not it. read more

With the downfall of Norton's those in the Humble/Atascasita area will be pleased to know there is a replacement. Lots of HD TV's playing every game you can imagine. Friendly & quick service , cheap beer, decent bar food, darts, shuffleboard, golden tee... just about everything you're looking for in a sports bar. Beers are $1.50 drafts and $2 domestic bottles. It's a very clean establishment and they are in the process of building an outdoor deck which will be great because the reason it gets three stars instead of four is that it is way too smoky in there. I hate coming home smelling like an ashtray. All in all a-ok, and having been a few times now it seems to be consistent service as well. read more

I went here last night with a friend and had a really good time. It's casual but I dare say upbeat due to all the lights and glowing things, for lack of a better word haha. The bartenders there are friendly and my date sent a couple welcomed drinks to our initial one after he got off his shift. I haven't tried the food here but I hope to go again soon. We were in town and decided to go for a drink. It was a Sunday evening. Walked in and everyone was laughing and smiling. They had a DJ playing a movie trivia of Bingo. Winner gets a free drink. We won second round and I got what was a double shot of patron for free. Will definitely return when in town. read more

I went twice in January. There was a young waitress who gave a glass of water to my boyfriend and when he gave it to me she told him she had brought it for him (with an ice cold voice) and she repeated it at least three or four times. Looking for an Easy Going bar? This is definitely the place for that kind of ambience. My husband and I went for lunch - the food was delicious - I recommend trying the sampler then you can get an idea of what the food is like before you dive in! The drinks are good - typical beer options, if you're looking for a world wide experience (Europeans) this isn't the place to go. It's a good old American bar! Clean, great set up with the bar in the center, televisions everywhere so you can watch all the games! The servers and bartenders are lovely and sweet. Even the cooks are nice! Sad that they allow people to 'save tables' for others while letting paying customers walk out the door. I got there an hour before world series and stood while having a beer hoping to grab a table. At least 2 tables were being 'saved' all the way through first inning. Discussed this twice with waitress and she even told me they don't allow it but would do nothing about it so we left and will not return again. There is no smoking inside this bar so that is a plus in my book. The food is inexpensive, and it's probably frozen, but it was still tasty. The waitress was helpful, friendly and informative about the types of beers they had. I wish the happy hour price for the bar food went past 4pm, but other than that I will definitely visit again. read more

My husband and I have supported Time out Tavern for the last six years as our favorite local hang out. I have always loved the staff and the food and our friends. However I have always noticed that Colleen, the owner of the bar, seems to be rude at times, if it is unintentional or not I do not know. This last week she was specifically rude to my husband and it was uncalled for. We have supported them through these tough times during Covid. We order food for delivery and pick up even buying alcohol which we normally would not do because the price is much higher. I think she needs to stop and take note of the familiar faces and not play favorites it would be in her best interest. I don't believe we will ever go back and that is unfortunate because we love her staff. read more

The bartender didn't want to serve us because She claimed we were "stumbling in" and that is why we couldn't be served. Plus, it's not like we couldn't drive to the location. Not like 1 shared bottle of sake from next door could mess you up...my fiance and I required the restroom prior to making businesses. We flew to Texas for a wedding and stopped here before we checked in to our house for the weekend. The waitress was awesome and very knowledgeable of the prices and beers. I liked her honesty of the food and we thought everything we got was pretty good. We flew in on a Wednesday so we made it in time for the lunch special - Chicken Fried Steak...and it was pretty darn good, for bar food. I guess I hadn't experienced good, genuine hospitality here in CA for a while so it was nice to actually be treated well for once. I went to watch my sister play in her 1st dart tournament at Time out and enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. There was plenty of things to do in the form of games the waitress was nice and attentive without hovering. If you live in the Atascocita/Humble area and go anywhere other than Timeout, you are in high school and have a fake ID. This place is the bees knees. The kitchen.... Just wow it honestly might be the best restaurant in Atascocita as well as bar. Chicken fried chicken. Are you serious?! Incredible. Fried mushrooms? Just stop. So good. Only place you can get timely and pleasant service in Harris county. Guaranteed. Shuffleboard, darts, pool. Oh and the shuffle table stays waxed and clean. Wanted to go out and watch the NCAA championship. We chose this place based on stars. How it's rated 4 stars is beyond me. My husband ordered boneless wings which were probably frozen. There was so much over fried batter on the outside, almost more batter than "chicken". My single burger was definitely frozen. Came out like a hockey puck. Fries were hot. They did have 23 televisions with the game on most of them, golf and baseball on the others. Beer was cold. Come out for the tvs, beer and atmosphere, NOT the food. read more

It was Friday night, a little before 8:30pm and the bar was relatively busy but not slammed. When we sat down we saw 3 servers eating salad. There were 2 bartenders and a bar back and someone who looked like the bar manager. We had just sat down at the bar and they passed us again and again and again... Not once establishing eye contact. During this time, we did not see the bartenders make any drinks. After 5 minutes, which should be long enough for a "hello my name is X, can I get a drink for you", we left and won't be coming here ever again. read more

I went on a Tuesday from about 5-7:30. Our waitress was really sweet, and the service was great. The whole place was very clean and the prices where good. They have a full service kitchen which is awesome, but I only had an appetizer (which I enjoyed). Overall the atmosphere was very welcoming. We did end up leaving a little earlier then we anticipated because it was getting very loud & crowded for a Tuesday (but that may have been because it was Fat Tuesday so they had alot of specials). Either way, I will be back to try a few more things on the menu & probably throw some darts. read more

Great hang out for all ages, a little to smokey for my taste. They have great specials everyday, it's way better than other specials i have seen, it's almost like being in college again on how cheap the drinks are. When that place fills, it fills fast.
