Service was good for the most part. Food was a little disappointing in regard to price and quality. Chicken fried steak sandwich came with 2 pieces of fried steak fingers and not an actual chicken fried steak patty. First, let me start off saying I love going to Mojo's but today may keep me from ever going back. I walked in at 7:24 PM and walk to the back bar where I sit until 7:33 PM without anyone coming to serve me. Then I took it upon myself to walk to the front bar and order on the side. I ordered a shiner and returned to my seat. The bartender poured the beer and when she came over to where I was standing another patron told her that I was sitting at the back bar. She then said, " he can come get his beer from right here!" She then proceeded to place the beer on the bar and walk away. I walked over to where the beer was and I got her attention. Great neighborhood bar! Bar tenders Monica and Alma are great and attentive. Every time I walk in Alma will fill a cold pint with Miller before I make it to the bar. My lady had the margarita pizza and while some parts of the crust were slightly overdone she still enjoyed the meal. We were there for a friends party and our server, Avery, was awesome. He kept the drinks coming and was friendly and funny. We had a fantastic time. Would definitely dine here again and if I lived closer it would probably work its way into my regular rotation. But last time I went there with my pregnant wife we got picked on by a staff member there with a Guy Fieri hair style for sitting at the bar. I have always sat at the bar to order food, drinks, and watch sports but after we were told we are too young to be at the bar and that we had to sit somewhere else (we are 27) I just didn't enjoy the service. I didn't argue and pull out my ID, I just sat somewhere else and ordered a beer from the table. And the bar was almost empty, it's not like my wife drinking water was taking away someone's seat. I hope their attitude there changes, maybe I'll try it again soon. But lately we have been going to Timeout Tavern and we have always been treated respectfully there with good service and good food. read more

The food though is marginal at best. I had fried pickles and southwest egg rolls. Both were the worst I've had and I usually order these wherever I go.
