First of all, I cannot believe ANYONE (past review) would consider anyone at Time Source to be "condescending and rude". This is one of the most down to earth, friendly, helpful businesses I've encountered in years and a very FIRST in a Jewelry store dealing in top end watches!! After a lot of research, I always found myself feeling "unworthy" of even entering a Rolex dealership because I am not rich and don't usually buy luxury items and it shows in everything about me. But, when I emailed Time Source to ask if they could service my husband's Rolex by a certain close date, Michael's tone in his response was very welcoming and sincere. I ended up emailing him back to find out if he could recommend a jeweler to repair a beloved ring of mine. He responded that they could take care of that, too. So, we met Michael and the rest of the staff today and what a fantastic experience. I told Michael that I really didn't have the budget to buy a new Rolex, but he still showed me watches--new and used--and I ended up buying one! He was so upfront. We talked about the pros and cons of new vs. used, superclones, and all kinds of things. Even when he asked me if I was Yankees or Mets and I said Mets, he was STILL nice to me! (ha ha). Stephen and Michael were wonderful to work with and went the extra mile to find a very rare Rolex yellow gold day-date green ombre diamond dial watch for me. This piece was picked out by my wife before she passed from terminal cancer and one of her dying wishes was for me to finally make this purchase. After being treated like trash and laughed at by local Rolex dealers that told me I was facing a 3 to 5 year wait at best, Stephen was able to locate a like new watch in 3 hours at a fair price. The watch is simply stunning. Like most, nervous to make this type of purchase on-line. However, the process was smooth and easy. I went in to get a battery for 2 watches. One of the watches I was told was broken and it needed more than a battery. The cost would be $125. I decided against it. The second watch was $20. I paid it cash and she short changed me. I took the watch that was told it was broken and brought to another jeweler and all it needed was the battery for $15. Came in to the store since I live in town to ask for help finding a hard to find watch. I knew it would be a challenge but had my heart set on this watch. The salesman was beyond condescending in all three of my interactions with him (one in person and two via phone). Continually telling me that it would be above retail (which was fair) but that he didn't want to "spin his wheels" looking if I wasn't prepared to pay 2k above the listed retail price which I wouldn't commit to without having any details or pics. The absolute worst customer service I have ever received. They treated me like I was an annoyance when I dropped off my watch for repair and then they made me feel even worse when I picked it up. I asked a simple question - "what was wrong with the watch" and the reply was "we told you when you dropped it off, you broke the coil". I tried to remind him that when I dropped it off, they didn't know what was wrong and they needed to work on it. The reply was a curt "you broke the watch". They treated me not like a valued customer but as an irritant as if they were better then me. I will look elsewhere in the future for a company that respects its customers, and I would strongly suggest that you do as well. read more

Great ineligible staff I brought my great grandfather's watch there to be fixed and it was a Rolex antique from 1950s I never thought it was ever able to get fixed. Terrible customer service. I had a link removed from my watch and they gave the piece to me in a sealed plastic bag in case I ever needed it. When I brought it back, a gold piece was missing, and they told me I must have lost it. When I showed them that the bag was still sealed, he just shrugged his shoulders and said then they must have lost it, but if I wanted them to replace the part, I would have to pay for it. After reading the great reviews on yelp, my wife and I went in this shop the other night with intentions of potentially purchasing an omega speedmaster as well as inquire about a family heirloom Hamilton pocket-watch I had just received from a recently passed family member. My wife and I walked in and we were the only ones in the store. Sitting behind the back counter were three people who did not bother to acknowledge us. I spoke to the woman sitting down to ask about the heirloom (i.e what can you tell me about it? Sort of thing) and she and the man taking a look at it did not want to help me at all. After what felt like coaxing them and asking questions about the watch I decided to take a look at the watches on display. Again as I was looking at the speedmasters, no one got up from their seats or even acknowledged us. I asked a few questions and the man pretty much guessed which year the watches were until the third person corrected him. It was kind of a shocking experience given that they outnumbered us three to two in the store! I thanked them for their outstanding customer service (I was not happy) and walked out never to return again. And they lost a potential sale just as quickly as that. read more

Mario at Time Source is a master watch mechanic. I found a Rolex 1950's vintage bubble back rose gold watch in my neighbors trash. It was in a picture frame with a letter from Rolex headquarters in Geneva saying the watch was unfortunately unfixable. Seeing that it was gold I decided to salvage the watch from the trash and see if I could make it work? As a rolex owner I knew the quirks of the self winding watches but only could get it to run about 2 hours at a time. Frustrating.... I took the piece to Mario and he took one look at it and said it is worth about $8000.00 and I think can fix it for tine fraction of that do you want to proceed? I said "Yes". That was several years ago and the watch is still keeping perfect time. The value has gone up even more and I love the piece. I still shop at Time Source and you should too.
