Sandra was awesome! Friendly and fast, efficient service! Give Sandra a raise! Even though I was leaving Spectrum as a customer, Sandra was very friendly, resolved my problems, and returned my equipment very fast. It was not crowded when I went in on a weekday evening, close to closing time. I recently moved to Los Angeles and where I live now, they already have Internet. I went in to cancel my Internet and phone (Spectrum Internet is required for Spectrum mobile). I explained to Sandra that I had switched back to AT&T because I hadn't had any problems with the service before. Sandra returned my equipment and noticed there was a fee for the Internet. The promotional rate had ended before the mobile payment due date and I was not prepared to pay that fee. It had also been a tough month. Sandra empathized with my situation and said she would email someone to see if the return could be backdated to eliminate the fee because she could see that I hadn't been using the Internet since I moved to Los Angeles. The fee was removed within a few days, the equipment return was noted in my account, and my last mobile auto pay went through with no problem. Sandra took care of my problem efficiently and in a very friendly way. I left Spectrum as a customer, and Sandra made that experience a nice one. :) read more

Same old customer service as always with time warner / spectrum Attempted to cancel my residential account here and transition to the bulk account at a new apartment complex (complex pays the internet) -- they told me at this location the account was closed. Fast forward to today they call me 4 times a day asking for payment on the account that should have been closed. Guy in the store claimed I was good, but didn't leave any notes or annotation in my file so over the phone they're claiming I never closed the account in January. I will GLADLY pay $60 a month with Verizon or any ISP that isn't spectrum upon principle -- even though my complex pays for spectrum. That is how insanely terrible spectrum treats its customers. Do not go to the spectrum. They do not know what they're doing. People are untrained and are messing up your account. We went in to get our services changed. They apparently did, next thing you know we were getting overcharged for services we had supposedly canceled. We called customer service and they told us they needed the store to verify; when we went in the store said there was nothing they could do and that there was no proof of what had occurred. Please don't accept any equipment on a trial basis. I made the dreadful mistake of accepting a Zumo box for free on a 6 month trial basis. I immediately within the first month discovered it was useless. Did not provide ANY good channels and was already using Philo for access to my favorite cable channels for a fraction of the cost. $25 for all my favorites LMN and the original Lifetime etc. And no good channels with Zumo!? So I tried to return it way before the trial was over to avoid the $5.00 charge per month. I know it's cheap, but so is the Zumo service. And I was given the run around by the 800# customer service reps. To take it back to my local store. I went to store and three employees just sitting around doing nothing... told me they could not accept the Zumo equipment and for me to call the 800# again!? The Zumo sat in my hot car for months! And now they have started to charge the $5 and I never used it. I called the 800# again and was sent a box with a label to return it at Fed Ex, with no instructions how to get Fed ex to pick it up. I am not driving... so I called again and finally was given the Fed Ex ph number to call and arrange a pick up. Omg! And to call them back Spectrum, so that once they process my return I will receive credit for the $5 bucks. Was it worth it? No, and NEVER AGAIN. Trials always have a catch to them, and this was horrendous. So darn stressful too. Makes Spectrum look so inefficient and down right out of touch with current technology. Walked into this s-hole of a business because it was close to work. As I entered, nobody greeted me and there was no system to inform me if there's a queue for service. I looked over to my left and saw a lazy employee slouched over his work station snoring as he slept his way through his work day....it was only 2pm. Went to the nearest spectrum location as instructed to return routers and modems. A girl behind the counter at first claimed to be working on something, even though she was not assisting anyone. I told her I had two routers and modems that I am dropping off, and she told me to box them and ship via usps. She said all this without looking up my account and then told me I would still get charged for them. No acknowledgment of my presence or the time and gas I spent to get there. Just rude. As I sit here inside of Spectrum eagerly waiting my turn a couple walks in one of the representatives starts talking to them then in front of everyone takes them, on the norm I would not care but when it's busy you are suppose to go in order especially since the other customer service are helping other customers. Let me tell you....after being on the phone with spectrum from 11:30am-5:30pm (no joke), I gave up being transferred again, hung up and GPS'd the nearest spectrum store location and cried to Sandra about my frustration on how crappy my phone experience was...she then had Mayra work her magic that literally no one could and I swear a huuuuuuuuuge relief off my chest. He tells me they close at 6pm and those are the hours this location advertises online. These are also the hours listed on the door. I arrive around 5:45pm and they're closed and the store is empty. Several customers are walking around trying to figure out what's going on. Check your security cameras for proof. I'm still on hold with Spectrum for help. It's now after 6pm. That's how long I've been on hold for assistance. For what I'm paying, this low quality of customer service is ridiculous. Don't come here if you need help. Braulio exceeded any expectations I had regarding customer service, he went above and beyond to fufill my needs as client. He was very patient, friendly, curtious, and respectful. Spectrum has good internet speeds depending on what you do on a daily basis. The only downside of Spectrum is that they rope their customers in with the "special offer" if you start service as a new customer. If you get the basic, it goes for $54.99 but as soon as the offer ends, it'll go up to $65. So on and so forth with the other options. Their services aren't bad but it's how everything is executed. I suggest you apply for their ACP program, which will help you out with a $30 discount until it ends. read more
