I am very disappointed in this company. Six months ago I transferred from Charter to Spectrum because they were going to give me a good deal to match what I already had . I received my bill 6 months later and it has increased. I was receiving a discount for internet and tv, but they decided to increase the rate for each receiver in my home. The rep stated it was for better quality, picture and sound. She also said more channels. So I told her I didn't want more channels. I asked her again if i was getting more channels and that's why they are increasing the price and she then takes her comment back. She said it's not more channels. She couldn't even give me a reason of why they are increasing the price after only being with them for 6 months. It's so frustrating, when you want a reason of why they are Increasing prices and the only thing the representative can do is read over their script. So basically in another 6 months they can increase the price somewhere else on my bill if they want to. This company is deceiving. I am definitely looking somewhere else. read more

I have been a customer for about 4 years with TWC/Spectrum. I have been having a problem with my bill going up. I have called customer service for advice to lower it, I have even cancelled my cable coverters to decrease my bill. The bill wend down for 6 months then went back up. I called 6/9/17 spoke to a rep, she was very rude and would not assist with helping me with something that meets my budget. I am very disappointed with TWC/Spectrum. This location was fine and the service was friendly when i went to return our boxes and modem. but im rating spectrum in general on there service in my home. We switched from direct tv and at&t internet to have spectrum. Spectrum was buying out our contract we had with the other company and spectrum was going to give us a cheaper price with faster internet speed.. well after getting it in stalled had one problem after the next. Had multiple techs out to try to fix the internet speed we were told we would get. My husband has an app on his phone that he can check the speed that we should be getting. we paid for 100 and only was getting around 40 at the highest which was very frustrating. It continued to have problems for over a week. Also spectrum tv is a big change from direct tv or even dish in all the bad ways. Spectrums box records things but doesnt save ur shows in order. Also whats nice with direct tv is u have a box in one room u can then have ur recordings be on the box thats in another room. With spectrum there completely different boxes so u have to watch ur recording on one tv and u cant go into another room and finish watching the recording. We ended up canceling service with them before 2 weeks were even up out of frustration with them. We switched back to direct tv sence we didnt return there boxes yet and were able to return to our original contact and got a chealer price than we were paying for before. The bill went from 115 to 90 for both tv and internet. I would not recommend spectrum and honestly feel like alot of people r getting ripped off with there internet speed and don't know it.. read more

This review is for Redlands service-not the retail location. If I could give negative five stars I would. I'll try to condense this saga as much as possible-we've been going back and forth with the corporate office in Anaheim about our terrible service (On Demand rarely works, pixelating pictures, channels unavailable-you name it.) After a year and several "highly skilled technicians" we still have unreliable service. We pay over $200 a month for our internet, phone and cable, and they are a dismal failure. The only reason I haven't pulled the plug is because I can't be hassled to find something else-but they absolutely SUCK. read more

This is for the services not the location, but if i could give no stars i could. I signed up for their services for a flat rate monthly price, or so they told me. I said 39.99 a month, they came into my house installed my modem, and charged me 39.99 and said i was paid for the first month in full. Then when i look to my online account i see that they charged me an extra 15 dollars, for modem lease and wireless, while I was aware that these are to be paid for, that is not the price i was told and agreed to pay. So i called them. They told me they would give me an extension on my bill till we solved the problem, then charged me two late fees. They told me they took the fees off of my account and then charged me full price, they told me they took off the money that they said i did not owe them, they did not one thing that they said they were going to. Flat out lied to, to my face, multiple times. Infuriated with this service, livid at the customer service, and the internet quality is complete garbage. Avoid this company at all costs. Unless you want to feel robbed and be perpetually lied to. read more

In all the years I had Time Warner, no need for tech support or technician visit to the house. For months now, I have had so many issues with Spectrum cable that I won't make anyone read it all.....most irritating, ongoing signal issues BUT TODAY, when the technician arrived, he was early (ok), his eyes were glassy and before he asked what the problem was, he told me over and over that I looked "so familiar" and then told me that maybe he was "my husband in another lifetime". Then he asked if I "lived alone" and when I answered that "yes" for today but my boyfriend was returning tomorrow, he asked "do you like your boyfriend?" And when I answered yes....for 30 years, he looked shocked. Then he tried to insist on checking the perfectly fine TV in the bedroom.....until I told him my dogs were in there. I kept thanking him for his service and hinted he LEAVE......FINALLY HE DID LEAVE but he was so inappropriate that I've thought of reporting him. I am very perturbed at the fact that I had paid to have cable, had cable for the weekend then had my cable turned off because of a previous tenant that had lived there. I am highly upset then that your call representatives are unhelpful, and I had a lady TELL ME, TELL ME that I am Quote on Quote this Keith Myers guy or that he lives here and I need to pay $600 dollars for my cable to be turned back on some one elses BILL!. I live in an apartment complex, people move in and out. The customer service here has been terrible, and now you have bill collectors calling my phone for another person's bill, a person I HAVE NEVER MET IN MY LIFE!!!!! Then I even had a representative tell me Keith Myers probably lives with me. Oh really??? Yes, my girlfriend and my daughter and I would love to share our home with a man we have never met, right??? Have a man who has caused Time Warner Whoops "SPECTRUM Cable" to provide the worst of the worst customer service. Not once have I had any customer service representative empathize with me. Yes, it has come clear that customers are not first at Spectrum. NO PHONES, NO INTERNET, NO CABLE FOR THE MORE THAN 36 HOURS AFTER INSTALLATION WAS MADE! WORST PART, INTERNET PLAN I ORDERED WAS 300mbps, BUT, there's no connection to begin with. You cannot even dial 911 using a phone line if you happen to have an emergency, how's that? They cannot schedule a same day appointment even you tell them you do not have any connections at all. Supervisor who took the call is cold, non-apologetic, NO time to listen to valid concerns. So if you're thinking tp BUNDLE UP, think again & again, they can inconvenience you big time! read more

My cable box has gone down at least 20 times. My internet has gone down at least 40 times. Even the remote control stopped working! When you call, the staff seems to know nothing outside of their own names. Worse cable company ever! The staff is dumb and poorly trained. It's like talking to people without brains. read more

On my 6th box now and STILL having the same issues. On Demand never works properly. They never update anything. (but still charge me for it). I "rented" a couple of movie that stopped working in the middle of the movie, could never get them to start up again because of "error codes", was suppose to be credited but never was. Problem after problem and never a solution other then reset the box or send out a tech who lies to you and replaces the box that still doesn't work properly. Spectrum you have serious issues inside and out. Anyone who can go to another company should go and avoid Spectrum (formally Time Warner Cable, formally Charter, formally who cares they are all crap) should AVOID Spectrum. Got a letter stating to pay a amount by certain day, which I did, Then my service still got cut off. I called letting them know the problem, and they just asked for MORE MONEY. I'd payed again, and was promised my service won't be interrupted. but you honestly made me pay a whole didnt amount to restore my service which shouldnt have been off in the first place The next day my service got CUT OFF AGAIN. Now I feel like you bullied me out of my money. You told me in order to get service again I have to pay more. And when I do, I get it for less then 12 hours. So I immediately called them back, they fixed the problem. a day later. Again no service. Now I call back, you want more money. Saying it was a late fee and some stuff that didnt make no sense and they couldnt make it sound right. This just shows how money hungry these million dollar company are. read more

This place and company have literally the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. They are so rude and unprofessional and I'm not even going to try and begin to write all the extremely poor experiences I've had with them. The only reason I still use them is because I'm a college kid and my school requires me to use them as my cable provider. This is the WORST service I've ever had. I've had 2 DVR cable boxes and 3 techs come out and they can't fix the problem. I was told by a person with 3 degrees in computer science, engineering and technology tell me the boxes need to be completely reprogrammed. The following are examples of what I've had to deal with on a day to day basis. 9/10/18: 2 times won't play a recorded show....another rec show started 1/2 way through....another 1/2 hr show recorded 617 min and 49 sec...tried to watch another recorded show later and the screen went blank...another show played in 2 parts...another show only rec 8 min. 9/11/18: watching another rec show and screen went blank for several minutes...tried to watch another rec show and it went to live TV...another rec show wouldn't play at all (code 8002). This is just a couple of days of the frustration I've had to deal with. I asked for some type of credit for the hundreds of dollars I've paid..they offered me $10 credit. THEY ARE A JOKE. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY !!!! read more

DON'T DO IT!! TIME WARNER IS A HORRIBLE PLACE TO GO FOR ANYTHING. My sister and I have just internet connection and it's so shitty it's not even funny. Every time I go and try to do homework online or like today try and register for classes at school my internet goes out. I go to unplug my router and wait 1 minute like the rep told me to and when I plug it back in the same shit happens again!!! Do you know what it is like to have to sit there and keep unplugging your router because you're internet refuses to work. Just this morning I had to do the same shit again luckily for me it just so happened to work this time. Honestly even when I tried to call the store yesterday and tell them of my problem the customer service rep hung up on me instantly. Like really Time Warner that's how you get down???? I a paying customer have a problem and the minute i go to you to seek an answer you hang up in my face. I refuse to pay 75$ a month for this shitty ass service. 7 years of loyalty down the drain me and my sister are switching to AT&T immediately and if you were wise you would do the same. read more

I paid for League Pass basketball through TWC. Twice now, my basketball game, which is not local, was blacked out by TWC. I was on their phone and website for two full hours last night trying to get my game feed with no success. Channel 741 is a sports package channel of League Pass Team 8. You can even hear the NBA game music in the background, but if your teams are on that channel you cannot get the game feed. They said it would be fixed "next day". Well, 24 hours have passed, and that channel is still blacked out. They tried to blame-shift by blaming League Pass - well, LP does not black out channels. The provider does. Apparently, TWC has lousy internal communication. This could have been fixed with the flip of a switch. I paid $200 for this package, and I can't get good customer service. I never had this problem with Verizon. The only reason I have TWC is b/c it's part of my HOA dues. read more

A Senior Account Executive came into our office and offered a great rate for internet and phone service. She needed 6 businesses in our complex to switch over so they could show the city that there was an interest and need for them to be able to get permits to do the wiring etc. necessary to have their services in our complex. Six of the businesses agreed so they began working on their end to prepare the complex for wiring etc. I was quoted and still have the flyer that the senior account executive brought in with the pricing on it. I was told I would be locked in to my pricing and that we would not be held to a CONTRACT!! 1 year later and my bill comes and it is $50 more than what I was quoted. I have called customer service and spoke with a supervisor all who state it was a "PROMOTIONAL" offer! No where on the flyer does it say the rates are promotional. I asked why as an established customer I am not entitled to the same rate as new customers, to which they can not provide an answer. I asked why they can't keep my rates at the amount they were quoted and I am told because it was only good for 1 year, even though it is not stated anywhere on the flyer, nor did the executive ever mention these were promotional rates. As a small business owner I have to be vigilant in keeping my costs down, when this was presented to me it was exactly what I needed. I feel Spectrum should honor the rates that were presented to me. The supervisor stated I was still getting the lowest rate for the particular services I was getting, which I disagree with because the lowest rate is the rate I was quoted not the rate they want to bill me at. My services have not changed, I don't use my internet or phone any more or less than a year ago, so why the need to change the pricing. Plus, many more businesses in our complex are now using Spectrum making the company more money, if not for the original 6 businesses in our complex to switch over they would not have any business in this area. Come on Spectrum, show your loyal customers that you really do care about them and stop hiding behind your "Promotional rate" excuse. read more

I give it two stars because only two out of 6 equipment's they have given out to me actually worked, since i have started service with spectrum. I admit one of them my kid accidently broke. But still i don't understand why there equipment sucks so bad. Straight from the store i get the equipment plug it in and they don't work!! And there customer service does need better improvement obviously because there's always long lines at the store. And number two there employees need better training because when i did a transfer of service it took two weeks for them to complete it and for my service to actually start. The lady that initiated the transfer of service at the store didn't give me all the appropriate supplies needed and didn't do the transfer correctly. I had to go back to that store 3-4 times on equipment and completion of service transfer. (Hence the long lines bad service) I called and ordered stuff most of the time so as to avoid long lines. Here's another sad point i'm paying paying over $100 for service and as i type this review my internet speed is slow. read more

oscar is the worst customer service manager. i say i was so happy with sprectrum service until i when to the 1078 hospitality sanbernandino ca. i when there at 6:06 pm i am sorry i didn't know that they close at 6:00pm.i was going to return a modem. so i whent to the door and the African-American security offercer shot the door on my face and she put her hands up and told me we are closed. i come so far from here at least one of there worker from sprectrum should had tell me to go to other office if they are close. but no oscar is rud so rud he scared me. i told him open the door so we can talk but no he talk to me on a crack of the door. omg i am so scare of oscar. he told me i am not going to open the door i told him is ok don't want you to open the door i just need the security officer name and work phone number for her manager. so i can complain. but he said no. i ask him does she work for sprectrum. he said no. ok oscar why did you lett her do your job. i just wanted you the worker from sprectrum to tell me we are close the send me to other office i would have appreciated. but now i am thinking it if i want to stay with sprectrum bad customer service. hope someone understand what i whent through with this office. oscar does not appreciate he job. he will never change.... sprectrum will loose allot of customers just becouse of people like oscar and security offercer. read more
