This is the first Spectrum I have ever been to and probably the last time as well. I came to simply drop off the modem and it was a 30 + minute wait. Really inconvenient for something so small. It was really packed and no place to sit. I manage to find and two unavailable seats at the back of the store. I was asked to move because the seats were for "employees only" and I kid you not the seat was and continues to be unoccupied. It's not like I wouldn't have moved once the employee needed the seat. I just found this to be really poor customer service. Just the fact they employee really minded me sitting there. Made my visit very uncomfortable. Other than that, the employee who did help me (Chris) was very pleasant. Very charismatic and quick. If it wasn't for him this trip would have been completely unpleasant. read more

TERRIBLE company when it comes to returning something!!!! I have a converter box to return that is slightly larger than my cell phone. When I called to ask where to mail it I was told I had to hand deliver it or send someone with my equipment to return it for me. Well here I stand with 35 people in front of me. Why in the hell would I send someone to do this for me?!? I don't dislike anyone that much! Figure it out Time Warner... allow mail ins and save the cost of all this overhead!!!!! There are no words to describe my deep regret for signing up with Spectrum for my internet service. I was sent on a wild goose chase to obtain my modem. Driving to multiple stores and waiting HOURS is not in any way good customer service. I will never use Spectrum again. After reading prior reviews it is hard to believe we are talking about the same store. We walked in and there were lines- and we did have to wait for about 20 minutes. But, the minute we met Julie, our service rep, things went so well. She was pleasant, answered all our questions and told us how we can get back my husband's old number from his prior phone. She also spent a lot of time with us loading all of his apps and TONS of pictures onto his new phone. She went out of her way to do everything we asked and was so pleasant. I waited in an area where I could see the other customer reps helping others - and they all were served politely and made a lot of helpful suggestions to the other customers. We are saving over $100.00 on our bundle and the 20 minute wait was worth it. read more

Worst service of a spectrum store I've ever experienced. Only came here to drop off router and cable box and only 3 people were in front of me. Took them about an hour to attend to me. One of the ladies took about a 10 minute break after attending each customer, I can see her texting on her phone. I am shocked by the negative stars. This store is always busy but it is because they really try to take time and be patient with their customers. People want to complain....well cancel your service then. The customer service here has been top notch, considering they are working for the greedy cable company. They were kind and informative and very patient with my mother in law who asks a million questions. They gave us new remotes and helped us change our plan to something better for us. Way better than dealing with someone over the phone. Yes...we had to wait over an hour but to me...it is worth it to deal with a live person rather than some idiot over the phone. read more

I have watched 3 other workers walk into the building to their back area over the last 15 minutes and still only 1 person helping. This is ridiculous. for the past three months or more I've been having a lot of problems with my cable. I've called numerous times and finally after three or four attempts. they figured out that it was an issue with an upgrade of the wiring up and down the street. that still didn't solve my problem. one of my boxes stopped working so I walked in to the time Warner store and got it exchanged. Wile I was there the clerk that attended me offered Internet for a few dollars a month more and I agreed. I even paid off my balance.i came home and connected the Internet box and it didn't work. My dvr's, HBO and show time wasn't working either. Come to find out the clerk changed my service so I can get that deal with out informing me. I called them right away and they finally send a field supervisor tech. He had to go through the whole wiring because I was getting real bad signals. Thinking all my problems wore solved my Internet stopped working a week or two after my visit to there store. I called to see what was the problem and said that the reason was a balance of 200.00+. I revisited there store again with Internet box in hand to cancel cable and I was convinced not to by offering me a better deal. I came home and my dvr's and HBO wore not.working. I called there toll free number and had to speak to the supervisor. He then added the dvr's and HBO back but then informed me that there was a balance of 66.00 when I had just paid 103.00 on my last visit wich was a few days ago. I'm done with this company. I have been being customer of Time Warner for almost 10 years. Nowadays Time Warner customer service is getting worse. When you call them, you will be redirected many many times, then hold.....forever....or disconnected without apparent reason. When you call for disconnecting service, you will never be connected to that Dept.....let you hold forever! Once the person get on line, they present themself as incompetent, rude, I don't care attitude. Another issue is that I had to boost Internet for 2-3 times/ week due to sudden drop of service. They replied " Ya.....just boost whenever you need". Monthly service has increased for two times in 3 months period. Seriously thinking about changing the service in next few days. Warning stay away from time Warner!!!! Vary bad cable/Internet services, me and my family have had time Warner Cable/Internet every since we moved into are new home which is about a year and a half. When we first got it its was pretty good but after about 5 or 6 month of having their services the Internet constantly drop in and out multiple times a day for about an hour or two each time.. and frequently at times the WiFi/Internet would cut off so much or just stop work for a day or two making it so you had absolutely no WiFi/Internet at all leaving me to have to sit I'm my house after working 12 to 13 hour shift to watch the paint dry on my walls of my home. At this point I'm basically paying them good money for absolutely nothing in return, I find time Warner services and customer service to be lackluster and totally terrible please hid this warning and reframe from doing business with these guys I promise you, you will regret it... you have been warned!!!!! read more

i Don't even know where to begin! signed up for cable and Internet told them didn't want anything over $100 get my bill it's over $100 they had me down for a home phone too because that was the best bundle deal!! I called to change my address because I had it wrong on the digits! The person that helped me ended up putting it down as a brand new service that I moved they shut my cable off shut my Internet off!!! I was on the phone for three hours letting them know I didn't move I'm not signing up for new service I had a digit wrong in my address!!! they couldn't figure it out and they still didn't change my address and now my bill is $300 because they took away the bundle they originally gave me!!! Such dishonest people and pretty incompetent when you call customer service nobody there knows what they're doing! I signed up for their services online and that same day they called me to send someone to check out my internet connections. Then later that day, I walked in to this store and was immediately greeted in such a friendlu way. I was asked to check in on a kiosk, then 5 minutes later someone called me to help me. I got in and out within 10 minutes. I am so impressed by the attitudes and deamenor of the employees at this store! read more

While I'm not happy waiting long lines or the price I pay for Spectrum I have to give credit where due. A customer was giving a sales associate all kinds of trouble this morning. As expected, the manager took over the contact. This customer continued to be loud and disrespectful in his wording. The security guard covertly moved in and showed his non verbal presence which I'm sure prevented a violent outburst. The manager remained calm and respectful and diffused the situation. BUYER BEWARE!!! Spectrum is by far the worst cable/internet company I have ever had. If your area offers other services, I would recommend using another provider. They do not care if the cable you pay for and the boxes you rent do not work. They know they have a monopoly on service in the 92373 zip code (there are no other options besides Direct TV). They refuse to give credit for more than the monthly rental cost of a DVR even when your live cable and recorded shows keep freezing and when you have to turn in a DVR full of shows because their equipment is faulty (and you've made multiple calls about it and even had a service team come out that weren't able to resolve the issue). Christian at the San Bernardino Spectrum location lacks empathy and customer service skills. He should not be assisting people if he doesn't care about helping people resolve their issues. He simply shrugs his shoulders at complaints and acts like he owns the company rather than explaining why he is unable to provide additional credits. When you call the 800 number to speak with a manager in order to file a complaint, the leadership team doesn't take you seriously or make any effort to keep your business. We were happy Time Warner customers for over 10 years with the internet, tv, phone package and service really took a turn for the worst when Spectrum bought out Time Warner. read more

Pick a different provider. Staff in this store is great, but they are at most providers. The in-home experience is very unfriendly.
